This is the last “heart” card I am going to share with you but really this is just a super fun “just because” card to say “hello”. Please make sure that you read to the end as I have a special offer for you and I would love to send you this card!
This is from the Crazy About You Bundle (and yes, I would definitely buy this as a bundle as both the stamps and the framelits are just wonderful – plus you will save 15%) I adore the framelits.
You know that I am a clean and simple gal and this inspiration came from a crafter that I truly admire, Jennifer McQuire. You can click here to see the video that she did and I just had to try it as I knew that Stampin’ Up! has great framlits that the technique would work.
I will say…there were a couple of “gray hairs spouting” from me but I think the key is to have the right products. I am referring to the tape – I tried it with washi tape and that didn’t work (part of the paper fibers stuck to the washi) and naturally I did not have the tape that Jennifer suggested!
I immediately thought – go raid all of the stuff that John had last year when he had his accident and I found this tape that worked!
You will keep the tape in place just like this each time you run it through with each color….what a FUN technique! (you can see the cutting part is down and I simply can "pick up everything" and take it to the Big Shot!
The beauty of this method is that you will get (5) cards by this technique and the color combinations can be so fun! I kept it simple and just used the “hello” sentiment on each of the cards!
Because you are cutting all of these hearts out in ALL sizes….you can mix up the color combination and presto – 5 cards of FUN! The Card base is a 5" square and the size of the color paper is a 4 3/4" square. You can see how easy it is as once you do the cutting = BAM!!!
When you pt our card together, the "key" is to "lift" 2 of the hearts with little pieces of stampin Dimensionals and WOW – this looks super sharp. I used the "green glue" on the flat ones!
Can you see that there is a bit of dimension to the “hello” – I used a Stampin' Up! product that truthfully I forget about. It is the Vanilla Coaster Board. I cut that out with the hello framelit and then adhered them together! I think the extra dimension make a big difference.
What do you think? I think that it make a big difference and in person…it is really pronounced – pictures are great but having it in your hand….WOW!
Making a custom envelope was easy and adding the DSP on the back flap makes me smile! The sentiments in this stamp set is endless and you can see that doing a "trio" of sentiments on the front of the card will make the mail man smile. (I also did this on the inside)
Well…what do you think!?!? I sure have been using this fabulous set a bunch lately and I must say I adore each project and look forward to many, many more to come!

I just love color challenges…how about you?
These colors are great for Valentines but I will say I have been using the Rose Red a bunch lately and I love it! Please consider playing this challenge this week – it's fun and you will be so proud and happy to see your card on the Pals Paper Art Website! Make sure you check out what other design team members came up with as well as all of the talented crafters – like YOU!
Let's get going on today's card. This is a typical "Susan" style card and I just love the simplicity of it and just the little dots I add on the edges to give it a bit of interest! (I often get asked about my fun dots…I say….JUST DO THEM…do not get a ruler out….do not worry about making a perfect dot….just let it roll!)
- The base is a 4 1/2" square and then the Basic Gray is 4 3/8"…the Pink Pirouette is 3 7/8" and finally the white stamped image is a 3 3/4" square. WHEW….that seems like a bunch of paper but remember….USE YOUR INSIDES with punches, framelits etc….
- I want to talk about the embossed edge…this is something that I often do as I love the end result! I will say that I like using the simply scored tool as I feel like you can get a "deeper" embossing. Here you can see the "bump up" – I usually like it this way but then this can change like the weather – whatever….it is just a simple and effective added touch!
- How about this image…does it sum it up or what!?!? I just adore it and it can be used for many messages that need to be conveyed….it is from the Hello Life Stamp Set. I am so happy that Stampin Up is coming out with so many BIG and BOLD stamp sets….wowzers – it makes us clean and simple stampers super happy!
The (3) wavy stamps are just perfect for the "tails" on a balloon….just love this set!
- A couple of hearts popped out and only lifting (1) up with Stampin' Dimensionals is all that is needed…well except the envelope….a double whammy for you today!
- Out comes the Envelope Punch Board and also my "old faithfuls" -the DSP Paper Stacks (a must have in my opinion in all color collections) made this great card come to life….but wait!
- How about these sweet 3 hearts across the front of the envelope! I just live making the mailman smile and I love the smile as well!

Let's all have a great day….today marks a month that I broke my ankle but I am doing great – it could be a lot worse and I am getting into the swing of "rolling around".…fingers crossed that John will take me to Virginia this weekend to see the horses….he has been wonderful in taking care of the horses (and donkey)….dogs and pig here at the house….but I miss my "other" boys!

This is the way I felt last evening….I was trying and trying to get up that hill to blog and it simply "wasn't there" – I ran out of steam – I rounded up the dogs and called it a night!
I think that I was a bit over excited creating, doing videos and having fun that I just ran out of steam but I will post around noon and it will be the February Stamp of the Month Kit.
I was getting some "Grey Hairs" over this as I always strive to create something special and I think that you are going to be happy with it!

I was just sitting down to type up my post for tomorrow ( you are going to love it….it is using the word "happy") and I forgot to email you all back about who won the blog candy from yesterday's question….

Woot-woot……I am sooo darn tootin' glad that so many responded with a comment with the colors that they like….(well today!!!) I know that many of you are like me as these choices can change daily…!
I LOVED reading the color combinations and it seems like there are many of you that really adore Blackberry Bliss…..and WOW – I sure do love those die hards like me that like the "safe" colors…Sometimes I feel like I am so boring but I am a traditionalist at heart!
I am learning from YOU and I thank you for your ideas! I will keep them in mind and I hope that each of you try some of these color combinations! This is the part that I adore about bloging….you can let your personality and your ideas come to life and I thank you for popping by!

THIS CARD is my go to 3…Strawberry Slush, Black and White…and I like the accent of Pear Pizazz and I knew that this card was the perfect card to unveil my likes…(well, today….I do change often but this is soooo clean, classic,crisp and clean!)
Now this is what totally made me smile….there is nothing like a beautiful handwriting and this touched my heart!
Well folks – what about this!?!?! I know that you are going to love the fun, interactive part of this card and I will find out the "scoop" and report back! This is a keeper and a totally FUN card!
Beautiful….gorgeous…classic and oh so versatile with the change up with a variety of sentiments! I love all of the textures of this card and I forget about "tearing" paper….it looks so fabulous!

In the spirit of being happy it is BLOG CANDY time! I thought it would be fun for us to share what is our favorite (3) color combinations are! (Well….if you are like me – it changes all the time so please, just go with your gut as of today!)
I think that we all go through changes with the colors we like – and I think that it is so fun to see what others like! (I feel like I am soooo darn traditional)
