Shhhhhh….I am trying to keep it a secret from the “Mr. Frog” that we have loved and will continue to live as he is carried over in the new catalog but LOOK…..he has a cousin! The minute I saw this I know that it was coming to Randall Lane!
Now lets chitty chat about this AMAZING square background – don’t you LOVE IT? I ask you…why in the heck have I not used it before? I adore it and as I was separating my stamps that are going to be retired, I took another look at this and said…..pull them out – grab the ink and go to town! (It will not be leaving me as I love this style of card and I also love the dream big sentiment)
You really do not need me for this card but I do have a tip for you and one that I have share before when you make a card like this. Because I used a 1″ punch for the FUN of this card…I like to work off of a “base” and adhere the squares to that to make it easier for me to line up…and then I add this to the 4 1/2″ Square Base. Hopefully this makes sense to you….it is a technique that I use often and one that I love – clean and simple!
Isn’t he just adorable? This is a hostess stamp set and trust me….with the new catalog coming out – you are going to have no problem either having your own cyber event (I’ll be glad to get you a hostess code) or if your order is $150+ you can earn your own rewards….and this stamp set is just $9.00.
The other part of this card that I want you to check out is the Square Framelits. I am OVER THE MOON with what they did – the collection of framelits consists of both square and scallops dies that build on one another….there are 19 in total – so you can see that there are many ways to mix and match!
One more look at this little dear frog. He will be making lots of appearances on my blog and I also hope that he will find a way to hop to your house! To me, this is a SMILE card – you just can’t help to smile when you see it and I love the new In Color, Emerald Envy..

Good morning and I know that many of you have sent me mails….“ARE YOU GOING TO DO A PRODUCT SHARE?” Yep, you betcha! My catalogs are scheduled to land tomorrow and trust me – I will be slapping mailing labels on them and going to the Williamsport Post Office to pass them on to you! (I also have a little In Color sample/ Wish list goodie for you)
I know that you probably totally expect me to say that this catalog is great, but guess what? IT IS GREAT! I still flip through it and see something else that I did not see before and then I smile…and then my wish list gets longer and longer.
I am one that does not like to “assume” that everyone knows what a product share is so I will do my best to explain.
A Product Share allows you the opportunity to get the news products (mainly the papers, ribbons and embellishments) in a smaller quantity so your “piggy bank” is not hit so hard…because the reality is – there are a ton of stamps, new tools, new punches etc…that you are just going to “HAVE TO HAVE” and by participating in a Product Share you are getting great feel for all of the new products; you can try them and then if you choose to order whole packs – you can easily do that!
I basically take the products that I know you love….divide them into smaller quantities and then pass the savings to you so you do not have to purchase whole rolls of ribbons…whole packages of paper etc….

Monday…Monday…happens every week and this week I am super excited but also super “HOW IN THE HECK AM I GOING TO GET EVERYTHING DONE” – I am one of those people that work much better with a deadline and a HUGE to do list and trust me…I have one!
Hannah graduates this Sunday and I am over the moon happy to have all of my peeps…my dear Dad…my brother…Aunt Jean…Hannah’s Godparents all coming and we rented a super fun house to all be together – this will be a WONDERFUL time for the memory books….but I am away for 4 days and then I have a big trip!

I do not think that you will be surprised but…I missed my dear sweet Eddie…..he was always by my side when I did this nasty job and I found many tennis balls along the way….darn that precious dog loved his tennis balls. Everyday gets better but trust me, my heart is still a bit empty – he was one in a million.

Hello to all….the sun shined yesterday afternoon and that made me happy! We have been having lots of rain this week and it is great to have a break from it. I am so happy that you all enjoyed yesterdays card and I hope that you like the simple changes I made today!
I know I tell you this often, but I get worried that the little changes that I make…will disappoint you – but please know that you do not need to make dramatic modifications to give a new life and feel to a card! You know me…Simple Susan!
It is all about stretching yourself to try something that you do not usually do…and if it works – great…if not, you tried!
There are 3 changes that I made:
- Using the spatter stamp in the stamp set (YES – love it) in Daffodil Delight (I stamped it off once to make it lighter)
- I added the linen thread behind the sentiment
- I added some sequins – now this is something that I rarely do but I like it….just a little touch that adds interest.
Here you can see a good side angle to show you the additions. This is a super fun bundle and one that there are many options and opportunities to have fun!
I can only imagine once the catalog goes live that there are going to be LOTS of fun ideas with this stamp set.
I adhered the sequins with the “green glue”…just put a dab, let it set up a bit and then you are good to go! I do think that it adds a fun and artistic flare!
Below is one more look – fun I think!
Envelopes love makes me happy and today I did the same, using the new Washi Tape across the top and then adding the Dapper Denim embossed with the FUN polka Dot Folder!
