Yesterday I blogged about the Fast Fuse Sale – click here to view the entire post but in a nut shell it is easy…buy 1 Fast Fuse, get (2) Refills FREE……yep….let me crack another nut for you…..the Fast Fuse is $10.00 and the refills are $7.50 each……YEP — ONE AMAZING DEAL!

The below bullet is the memo that Stampin’ Up! shared with Demonstrators….I truly do not see this offering lasting for the 5 days that Stampin’ Up! is offering it….I do “get it” and respect the fact that we need to think in the future….personally, I am just thrilled that they are offering such a generous promotion.

  • We will turn the promotion off if our Fast Fuse Adhesive supply reaches a predetermined threshold. The sale has been set up this way, so we are able to continue supporting you and your customers through the life of the 2017–2018 annual catalog.

So……GRAB THAT WORM and HIT THAT PAW PRINT below and smile……WHEW….now go have a GREAT DAY!

WINNER and another WINNER!!!

Good Hump Day Morning!

I waited until this morning to do this post so I could allow as many people to “chime in” and share their favorite of the 3 NEW Sale-A-Bration offerings that will begin next Friday, February 16th until the end of March….(when Sale-A-Bration ends….) and also…..

We have had some terrible ice over night and it made doing the barn this morning…..a husband and wife tag team as we slid on our bums to get down the hill (we laughed and laughed…the dogs looked at us like “Whatcha’ doing silly parents”) as we both have that fear of falling! All is great and it is to get warmer later and hopefully melt!

Below you will see the screen shot of the poll and YEP…..we have some stampers that want MORE PAPER! I honestly thought that hands down the Bundle would have won….but I get it, the paper is lovely!

My order did come and you paper hoarders are correct….the paper is b e a u t i f u l and I am going to put my coloring skills to the test and use the Stampin’ Blends……BUT…..just wait folks as I truly can envision that bundle being a super simple, super sweet Easter card and the flowers are going to be so easy to highlight.

Now for what you have been waiting for……the WINNER…..soooooooooo get ready to push that chair back and put your hands HIGH IN THE SKY and SHAKE IT…..do that dance and then sit down and email me with your address as YOU WON!

Beth B from NC….you just won the Eclectic Expressions Stamp Set

Way to go Beth and many thanks for the fun feedback and ideas. I will say…keep watching as I just love to give Blog Candy away and what better way to give when there are goodies that not only you will appreciative….you will use over and over again!

The ideas that I were going to share with you are going to be pushed back for another post as yesterday, Stampin’ Up! shared some exciting news that we have all been waiting for and I am excited. No….actually I am ecstatic as I used Fast Fuse all of the time and this IS the deal of all deals…(I think that SU did not realize the sheer madness this brought when they offered it last fall)

The moral of this HUMP DAY POST STORY is do not wait….and I know, your lower lip will be down like a toddler and you would have missed this great sale. As I said, Stampin’ Up! offered this in the Fall and it was a ZOOM….ZOOM….THEY RAN OUT which left many people a bit sad….(well there might have been other adjectives that they might have used…but you know me…let’s be positive!)

Holding true to their word they said that once their inventory became high that they could offer this again as sooooooo many people were disappointed as it sold out licitly- split…they would have the sale again….

Well that time is here…..STARTING TOMORROW (Thursday February 8th)

Fast Fuse is a product that when it was first introduced people had a love/hate relationship with. I get it as I did the same and I think that in the beginning I set back more than I kept ….but once I learned to use it correctly, be patient…it was a friend, actually a BEST adhesive friend and YEP, if I was on a deserted Island….Fast Fuse would be in my must haves while on the Island.

The refills have soooooo much length to them and I invite you to look at the details when you make comparisons of a product. I will say that I toss the container and get a fresh one after using many, many refills and with this deal…..you do not feel guilty one bit.

Now I always say to you that I am an honest stamper….but in this case….I just do not think that I can be honest and share how many I will be buying (hopefully if they do not run out) as it would be to some….an amount that you would say…..WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH ALL OF THAT……

My answer….I’LL USE IT! I adore this adhesive has it STICKS and true it is not forgiving if you have to move it (that’s what makes green glue great) but I like an adhesive that HOLDS TIGHT.

When I do my monthly kits, I always use Fast Fuse to make my samples. The way that I look at it is….I create with what I use as I want you to have a well constructed card.

In closing, I have a super cute image for you and I hope that it makes you smile….as you all know that my dogs (and piggie)…(and stupid donkey) make me smile…..Just do whatever it will take for you to remember…..

TOMORROW IS THE DAY….you have been WARNED…..

so don’t be left disappointed!

Have a great day…..and I am THRILLED that so many of you are THRILLED with the upcoming, NEWBIES with Sale-A-Bration. I am looking forward to using them myself and also inspiring you with ideas.

I hope that you see the benefit of this Fast Fuse sale starting tomorrow…I can tell you that when I see an opportunity like this, I take full advantage of them as I know that they are a staple that I use over and over.

Friday will be a post that you will say…they are soooooooo sweet! It is a post that was inspired to me from another “Susan” and I am soooooooo glad she brought it to my attention!

Starting on February 16 thru the end of Sale-A-Bration – March 31st…Stampin’ Up! is adding 3 more offerings to the pot! I can’t wait to hear what YOU think about them….and you know me….be honest – I want YOUR feedback!

We have not had BLOG CANDY for a while…..so let’s DO IT!!!

I was able to pre-order them on February 1st and they should be strolling down Randall Lane in the Brown Truck today….and I thought….why not let YOU pick which one that speaks to you most and a quick why!

Just cast your vote and if you wish to take a chance of winning ….leave me a comment of your favorite and I will pick one person and post it on Wednesday’s post!

I think(?) I know my pick but it is funny, sometimes I change my mind once I see them in person but I will say, I am excited as these offerings make me happy!

Make it a great day….and please VOTE…..I can’t wait to see which new offering wins!

Just one “sweet” card!

This is my kinda card….sweet and simple that makes you smile! I know that you have heard me time and time again saying…It’s all about the basics….and YEP, I will say it again…It’s all about the basics!

I just love this card base….how about you? It is one of the FREEBIE options from Sale-A-Bration called, Tutti Fruitti Note Cards and Envelopes and they are just a breath of Spring to me on a blustery cold day like today! Guess what? Stampin’ Up is going to be offering more options for Sale-A-Bration……I preordered them yesterday so next week you will get a peek….(they are super cute)

Now let’s get back to that basics thing….look at the simplicity of this card….simple shapes with matting and DONE!. The sweet focal stamp is from the Flying Home Stamp from the Occasions Catalog. Images like this are super simple to color in and we all know we have many options in how we can color….today I used the Stampin’ Blends as they are hands down the fastest for me to do!

I have blogged about these Note Card before and you can click here to see that post….but one thing that I love about this offering is that you get 16 card bases and the coordinating envelopes are not only a FUN color but they have a great liner that coordinated with the Tutti Fruitti DSP Stack that is in the catalog….win-win!

Whenever you can get a POP of color in a simple way like this I say…..GO FOR IT as you can keep the rest of the card rather simple. The card base sets the tone letting the sweet floral and bird house POP!

Can you see what I did after I colored the image in? I took a white get pen and added some dots to the bird house and also some on the flowers! I know that it is hard to see but when you hold it….it does makes a difference – just a quick and simple touch that adds a bit of pizzazz!

Speaking of a wee bit of umph……I ran the So Saffron Circle thru Mr. Big with the Confetti Textured Embossing Folder before I adhered them together….another quick and easy way to add to a simple card!

Now to a stamp that I have honestly not seen blogged much of…..it is a Hostess Offering Stamp called Yay You….I say YAY because it is a photopolymer…..I say YAY as it was just $10.00 and I say YAY once again as I think that it is super simple and the fonts and Sentiments are YAY!

After I pulled this off the shelf I noticed the sweet little hearts…..you bet that they will get inked up this weekend as I plan to make Valentines and I call a little cluster like that a “filler” as stamps like this are perfect to add here and there to spice things up!

When I create a “fish tail” sentiment strip like this I like to do so on a much longer strip of paper….stamp the sentiment and then make a snip in the middle of the strip and then cut on either side to meet the middle cut…..

This is one of those silly things that we always seem to over analyze making sure the ends match perfectly etc…(sound familiar to anyone) when actually no one would ever notice…..you know my motto on making dots and dashes…..JUST DO IT!

One more peek at this sweet card and did you notice the inside liner on the envelope? Yep…just that little bit of crumb cake from the bird house pulls the whole thing together.

I think that next time I use this stamp I will do it with using the Aqua Painter for you to see the difference in the coloring. The one medium of color that I rarely use and know that I should give it some more love is the watercolor pencils…..I admit – I actually forget about them as my first go to os the Stampin’ Blends.

Have a great weekend and if you are a Super Bowl fan……well – I hope your team wins! We do adore watching big events like this as it always seems to be a great reason to have some yummy food…..so BBQ Ribs are our Football pick!

Stay warm….be safe and I hope that you can squeeze some “me time” in over the weekend and play with stamps and paper!  Below you will see the new Hostess Code as well as the Gift With Purchase for the Month of February……

Next week I am going to wow you with a fun post using and highlighting these adorable notecards & envelopes….You are going to agree, they truly are super fun and unique! It was an idea sent to me from a super de duper stamper and I loved it soooooo much, I had to purchase the stamp set that coordinates with it!

I just LOVE IT when someone enables me! Have a super fun weekend…….
