I am on a roll with quick, simple, super cute & just plain FUN cards! These bright "dots" puts an instant smile on my face and uplifts my heart!

The focal stamp is a single stamp that name says it all…"Sunshine"! I am so happy that Stampin' Up! has been offering these gems as it is great to pick and choose from many incredible offerings! Click here to see the single stamps that are available and then click here to order!!! (see how easy I make this for you!!!)
Knowing that I wanted to keep this a very clean and simple card I went to the Color Coach! I do not blog about this often but I will say I use it several times a week – This is a definate "A " list product to have…and one that I thinks is overlooked!

This Deck of color swatches has all of our colors…then when you flip it over it gives you a "Creative" Combintion as well as a "Sweet Set" Combination then a Dynamic Duo Combination. I went to the Melon Mambo and the Creative Combination they suggested was Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise!

Isn't this fun! Using the Circle Punches, 1/2", 3/4" and 1" sizes, I randomly placed them on the White Card Stock and then ran it through, Mr. Big Shot, tucked in the Square Lattice Folder to give it some texture – made it POP!

This picture above you can really get the feel of the texture and you can see how adding a simple button creates a fun effect! Add some Stampin' Vitamins ( Stampin' Demensionals) to lift it up!

The finale was the fun Daffodil Delight Polka Dot Designer Paper to line the envelopes! I hope that you have enjoyed this quick and easy card! Just think of all of the color options you could use – I can't wait for the new colors…I already have an idea brewing!!!
I am excited to share with you some great "happenings" with Stampin' Up! They are "spot on" and ready to rumble forward with the excitement of the new catalog coming around the corner! Please email me and let me help you achieve your goals!
Tomorrow I am also going to share with you the dimensions from the By The Tide card posting from last Friday! I thank you and appreciate all of the comments and emails I receive! I love what I do but more importantly…..I love helping you!
Until tomorrow!

Wow…what great weekend! I am filled with happiness and joy! Here is another great 1-2-3 card…

Ready – Set – GO!!!
We all know that you need to listen to the advice that your Mom gives you…well – I learned many life lessons from my wonderful Mom and one that she always told me…
" You just can't beat the classic's"
This card uses minimal materials and a card that can be adapted in so many ways! By now you all know that Crumb Cake is one of my favorite colors – why = a classic!
"Mom's" do know best – and another thing she used to tell me…
"You can't go wrong with
khaki's, a crisp white blouse and a navy blazer…"
This was the inspiration for this 1-2-3- card…and it came together in a snap!

The WOW factor is the Lattice Bigz Die, sometimes a "sleeper" but really produces a WOW! …out came Mr. Big Shot (my main Stampin' Man)…and a quick run through with the Not So Navy Card Stock (sadly soon to be discontinued color) is the focal point of this simple card!
The little touches of flowers – Boho Blossoms Punch, and also the pearls are also on the "classic" list make this go from being "Plain Jane to WOW!"
The Sentiment is also on my "A list", Curly Cute…one that is always a great one to pull off of the shelf! Clean, crisp and classic! The Stamp-A-Ma-Jig is so easy and such a no-brainer lifesaver!
The finale as always is POPPING with Stampin Dimensionals and lining my card – this was another no-brainer as I looked at the colors of my paper and then went right to the Subtles Designer Series Paper Collection as the Marina Mist Card-stock was the match!

I hope that this card has inspired you to keep it simple…keep it clean…keep it easy!
Just think of the 2 main components = the Lattice Bigz Die and the Curly Cute sentiment could produce so many different cards for you….birthday, thank you..thinking of you…ya-da-ya-da!!!
The better part is that you can order these goodies right now….shop away and have fun!
I hope that this card has inspired you that YOU can do it…YOU can make a difference…and YOU WILL have fun making
"Gifts of Art from your Heart!"
Until tomorrow – Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your emails, feedback and comments!

I am having a great weekend…being in beautiful North Carolina and being with my daughter has been a picture perfect weekend! As a "die-hard" follower of other incredible Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, I have always enjoyed, been inspired and in awe of Brandy Cox and her talent…videos….and stampin' room!

Tonight was a blast! I had the opportunity to go to a "stamp-a-stack" class of Brandy's! It was not only a treat – it was a blast! She is one talented person that has a passion that is simply electric – It was wonderful!
Please take time to check out her blog as well as her videos! She has a spirit, a great eye for color, and just a "breathe of fresh air'!!! When I rang the door…I was greeted by her adorable "little guy" that said my Mom's people go upstairs and to the left!
Up I went and WOW – her craft room was like walking into "Tiffany's" – beautiful…bright….and just plain WOW was the best way to describe it! We have never met…and instantly I felt like I have known her for years!
Here are 2 of the cards we made! Are they great or what! I loved how Brandy put a little message on each persons work area!

This card above is showcasing one of the new colors that are coming out…love….LOVE IT!
This evening was a real treat and it re-affirmed to me that there are so many SU Demonstrators that have not only talent – but a compassion for what they do…just like me!
I am so excited that this timing happened….my daughter has many years here at her college but I know that well after my daughter is gone from this area, my friendship, laughter, net-working and fun time with Brandy will always be there!
Thanks for a great evening and keep doing what your doing!
Until tomorrow…
by Susan Itell | Apr 13, 2013 | Stamp-a-ma-jig, Thinking of you |

When I was trying to get out the door and I knew that I needed a "quick and simple" card….and how about this!
Follow these steps…Just love the Summer Smooches Designer Paper…how fun , fresh, and simply makes you feel alive! This truly is a simple card…

This post is very similar to yesterday post in the fact that if you simply change the stamp and paper…a new card that looks TOTALLY different! Seriously, this card comes together in a super 1 -2–3!
TIP: I know that I have said this before in other postings…but this flower stamp is the perfect example of using the sanding blocks! Why??? = to get the bet ink coverage from your stamp! Can you see in the above picture ( click on it if you want it bigger) that the daffodil delight ink is so clean and crisp!
Just do a quick rub back and forth and it works like a champ! Little tips like this will always make you look like a pro and for $3.50…so worth it! Click here to shop away!

Today's card… – Love it…. – very do-able and fun… – Love you stopping by my blog and love the emails and comments you give to me!

I am sooo excited for today! A full day with my daughter but the finale of the evening will be super! Until tomorrow……
by Susan Itell | Apr 12, 2013 | Birthday, Masculine, Stamp-a-ma-jig |

Sometimes it is hard to find a great Birthday card that is masculine! Well I think I have accomplished that! I just love the International Bazaar Designer Paper and I must admit I do not use it as much as I should as it is so handsome!
By the Tide Stamp Set, is such a versatile set….it is classic, it is handsome, it just simply makes you feel like going to the beach! I am not one that usually like to put a "faint" sentiment as the background, but I think it works here! I used a very soft color, Sahara Sand and then stamped my "Happy Birthday" message in Early Espresso! This sentiment came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes - a definite "A Stamp" set!

The basic concept of this card can be used in sooo many ways with sooo many different themes! Just let your imagination go and fit the needs to the card that you are trying to make! Switch out a stamp…switch out a color scheme….voila – a new and fun card!
Don't forget to use the stamp-a-ma-jig to help you with the placement – it is a HUGE lifesaver!

I first received this card from my Stampin' friend, Susie Latimer, as an anniversary card! It had a total different scheme to it but I have always kept it as I love the design! This is a great example of taking the time to save something you really like as you can always go back to it and make some minor changes and BAM!

Doesn't the crispness of the Pacific Point Blue make you feel alive! It is just a "feel good" color that always brightens up your projects! A card would not be a "Susan" card with out the Stampin' Dimensionals as well as a lined envelope! SO easy….SO WOW – and the best thing is that it fold very flat….no extra postage!

I know that it is Friday but it has been a L O N G week for me and I have been working many hours to be able to take today off – SOOOO excited to see my youngest child! Probably by the time you are seeing this I am on the road with my truck and trailer to get to Charlotte, NC! She is a freshman in college and I can hardly wait to see her and give her a big hug! It is hard to believe that the school year is coming to an end….
I hope that you are ready for a great weekend! I sure am going to….I am bummed that I have to miss the Baltimore Regional Convention but I have a special surprise that I am super excited about! Make sure you check back to see what it is! I thank you for taking your time to view my blog….As always, I am an email away and I thank you for your comments and taking your time to daily check out my blog!
HUGE stampin' hugs….until tomorrow…
