Good Morning! I had a "change of plans" and needed to go out of town yesterday and today so I thought I would share with you a super sweet card that was sent to me by a wonderful customer. There are so many reasons that I love this card and I will tell you why!
Before we get to the card, I need to "paint a picture" for you to see the "specialness of Sharon" and the "trio"….Who is the trio?
Sharon, her sister Karen and their friend Robyn (who is the adopted sister)…these 3 wonderful ladies have the most beautiful relationship and it truly warms my heart and makes me smile! I feel so blessed to have them as customers and friends!
Please enjoy these pictures of Sharon's card….I adore the simplicity of it, the cleanness of it…the whole darn thing!
I am hoping to pop on line today – sometimes "life happens" – its all good but I was not expecting to be away!
Thank you Sharon for this sweet note and sharing your talent! It would be a dram for the 3 of us to get together and have a "girls weekend"

Please give Sharon some "good old comment love" – she is one talented person and her "sisters" are equally as special….thanks for always bringing sunshine to my life!
I leave you with a quick picture I snapped of Eddie…..my super sweet old man!

Have a great day… and Caleb – Eddie says hello!

O.k…..I know that many of you are going to get a great laugh out of this one! I am on the design team for the Pals Paper Art and the team that I am on is every other Thursday!
Does this below post look familiar to you? Here I was all worried that I did not have the supplies (as I was in a hotel with Hannah) and low and behold – I totally forgot that there were 5 weeks in the month so last week was a "bye" week!
So……I hope that you enjoy this card this week as much as you did last week! Enjoy!

Happy Thursday and you know what today is….it is the day that the Pals Paper Art Challenge starts! This week it is a color challenge (my favorite) and this is a fun palette to play with! How about coming out and playing this week – I would love to see your work of art in the gallery, I know you can…I believe in YOU!
How about these colors…aren't they fun! Now this is MY KINDA CARD….super clean and simple!

Before I get to the fun today I have to share "a funny" with you…I took 4 pieces of paper with me to convention, the 3 colors above and a piece of Very Vanilla. I thought that I would knock out a card while I was at convention…well that never happened.
The stamp set I used today was Something to Say…(whew, that was given to all of us at convention) so I knew I would use that stamp set….when I arrived to Hannah's, the box that John shipped did not arrive but I had send some things back with Hannah (Big Shot, the die & some punches) when she was home for Art's funeral.
I made this card with no trimmer….just a pair of paper snips…. and the pearl was given to us at convention….so this was a "wing it" card with what I had to work with and it turn out just fine! I need to turn my picture of my card in early in the week so I just worked with I had…

This card is a great example of how you take what you have to work with….sit back and see how it can work out and GO FOR IT!

I love this BIGZ die…I have found so many ways to use it and I will say that it has paid for itself time after time! Why do I like it so much??? Well, the flowers for sure but I also like the branch with leaves. You can see to the right of the below picture that the main intention of this is to make flowers….(I have never tried yet)….remember, I am "Simple Susan)!

I hope that this shows you to look out of the box when you look at products…I have used this die many, many times and I find it to be super fun to mix up colors and add a fun POP!

The outer liner was still from the same sheet of paper, I just love this 6" X 6" size and the fact that you get (4) sheets of each print….WOWZERS!
Also, using old faithful, the white gel pen always adds a fun flair. TIP" – Remember to always store it on its side and I always squiggle a circle before I take it to my project for the dashes and dots!

Please do not forget about the 1/2 Paper Pumpkin Deal……you can click here to go to the Paper Pumpkin Site and you can get your 1st 2 month at half off…but I am SUPER excited as they have just added the refills from the Thanks a Latte Refill Kit and YEP – I have already put it on an order, this makes up such a fun card! For just $1.00 a card which is adorable, how can you go wrong?
Remember, you need to be a Paper Pumpkin Customer to be able to purchase past kits and refills….so how can you lose getting the 2 months at half off and if you want some of the past kits (I would definitely get the shaker card one)
Enjoy the day..Until tomorrow my friends!

Enjoy the day…I am super excited as John is flying down this morning and we will be able to see Hannah do a presentation. It will be a long but fun trek home with Stanley but until we hit the truck and trailer, we are going to enjoy this adorable town!
Until tomorrow my friends!

Good Morning! Today is a FUN post for you as I am showcasing to you some FUN & WHIMSICAL cards that I saw at convention on the wall of cards! Unfortunately I cannot give the designers credit as they were hung up and some of the pictures are not the best…..but I did my best to snap some fun cards for you!
If you follow my blog…..you know that this would be a TOTAL CHALLENGE to me to make cards like this but they are absolutely adorable! I was wishing my favorite "sheep herder, Mary Ann" was with me to dissect them to tell me what punches were used!
Enjoy this parade of AMAZING cards and I am in total awe with the talent…poor little me from WIlliamsport, MD is just happy and fine with my clean and simple style but I must admit – it is SUPER FUN to see these ideas!
For some reason my blog did not go off yesterday on the timer….please click here to see…sorry!

Just adorable! Do you have a favorite? Please leave a comment with which one you like!
I saved the dog for last as I was hoping that our "Sheep and Dog Catcher" can break it down for us…..he is a cutie-pie!
Please pop back tomorrow and you will see a "Susan Card"…right up my alley and I know that you will like it as well…..super clean and simple!
Enjoy the day…..make some memories and I hope that you have some time to get "inky"

Gotcha….didn't I with the title the post today! All I can say is a big WHEWWWWWW…I wish you could see me right now as I type this post.I am sitting in a hotel with my leg propped up just relaxing!
My flight does not leave until midnight and I am taking the red eye home with Brian King as I will be in the Atlanta area next week with Hannah.
The flight in itself should be a hoot with Brian but I think we are both so pooped that we will hit the seat and wake up when we land! This has been a great time for me, I have been able to meet so many demonstrators and also many that follow my blog…fun times!
Below is a "cyber friend" and demonstrator from Kansas, Kathie Dakhil….I knew that we would hit it off and it was a true joy to meet her in person. Look close to see some of the new goodies that will be coming in the new catalog!
I met so many cyber friends and it was great to get a hug and share some laughs and lots of smiles!

My heart is super happy when someone asks me how Daisey Mae is and how is Rosie!!! I miss my fur babies! John and James are doing a fabulous job holding the fort down and that sweet John is flying down to meet me on Friday so I do not have to drive Stanley (the horse) all the way home by myself.
I was "Back in the shower" taking some more pictures for you…I am sorry that I cannot credit the designers to the pictures but my suitcase is in a storage area and I just have my computer while I am "killing time" before I leave for the airport!

Enjoy the inspiration! Please do not forget to look back at yesterday's blog posting and leave a comment of what type of card is your favorite card to make and what type of card do you find most challenging.(actually this will really help me with how to help you with future posts!)
Please do not miss this opportunity for the Paper Pumpkin, it is a great little gem that will allow you to have some "me time" and feel great…

I hope that you enjoyed the parade of cards! There is so much talent out there! Tomorrow I will have a "Susan Card" for you…..something I made before I left – it is super cute, (well….I think it is at least!)
Thanks for sharing some time with me today and please know that I will put my energy, talent and love for stamping with you will all that I learned! Have a fabulous day!
