Happy Thursday to all! I have a treat for you today! I participated in a card swap using the products from the new catalog! I “played my cards” right so I could give you 2 days of BEAUTIES while I am “busy as a bee” cutting paper and working on your product shares!
Sit back, relax and take it all in! So much talent out there…so many ways to use the same stamp in a totally different way – the sky is the limit! Make sure you look at the bottom of the post as there are NEW DEALS that were just unveiled this morning…..remember, they are only around for a week!

FUN cards…..RIGHT!
I am itchin’ to do some Halloween Cards…I am not a huge Halloween person but I admit, I do enjoy making super sweet cards and sending them to the peeps! I am also a huge fan of making “treats for my sweets” – so you will see my all time favorites again.
Today and tomorrow I am at “Command Central” – my stampin’ area with the music turned up and the cutters going….measuring ribbons and counting embellishments to get the shares OUT THE DOOR by Friday at 5.….(wish me luck)

Do you remember last week….Stampin’ Up! offered some special Offers….well there are a new batch starting today….do you have a favorite? Hmmmmm……what do you think mine would be! (p.s. – the punch….it is fun for woot-woot cards!!! 🙂 )

I admit, from the moment I saw the sample (that you will see late in the post) in the Annual Catalog I knew that I wanted to CASE this card! I thought it was just super simple and the way that the stamps fall into place of a tree – BRILLIANT!
I have a bunch of pictures for you and I hope that you agree that this is a fun card! I think that the simplicity of it lends itself to a card style that just about anyone would love. I am actually thinking that this would be a great card for Hannah to make….as it is super simple and I think that she would love it!

Below you will see the picture that I was talking about from the Annual Catalog….super sweet but as you can see, I changed it up a wee bit to make it with “my touches” I will say, I think that this below card is super simple and super stunning with all of the great “white space”

I am so happy that I “hit that button” and bought this stamp set, Better Together! I have already used it a bunch and I am just itchin’ to use that Birthday Hat next – this is a keeper of all keepers!

The size of this card is a 4 1/4″ square card (you know that this is one of my favorite sizes) and then I cut the DSP from the Warmth & Cheer DSP Stack the exact same size. I do not do this much but I should….I really like the way it looks and then the thin mat of red adds the “just right” amount of POP!

I made my own custom envelope with the Envelope Punch Board but one think about the 4 1/4″ card size….you could actually put it in one of our regular envelopes and it would not cost you any additional postage…BUT – you know me, I think that a custom envelope and the extra postage is worth it and I think the lucky person that is receiving it will be thrilled with an “odd size” card! (It is funny – I know that I get excited when I see a different shape)

Here is your 411 – Directory Assistance Card….Well – thoughts? I think that this is a great stamp and just think of how simple! I will say that I did use the Stamp-a-ma-jig as I wanted it to stamp up “just right” and then the little tree trunk – super simple!

Enjoy the day – it is HUMP DAY already, I am so confused with the Holiday….I will have “Wing-IT Wednesday” back next week….I honestly thought that it was Tuesday!!!!! (Silly Susan)! I have a treat for you tomorrow….I participated in a card swap using products from the Holiday Catalog….If I can not enable you….perhaps some of the card beauties will!
Thanks for popping in, make it a great day – and share some kindness!

Here is a tip for your Tuesday that will make you say…why didn’t I think of that! I think that this is a first for me…just 1 picture today but you know me – I will have lots of comments and also links for you to get these goodies if you wish!
I think that you know me by now in the fact that I love to find ways to make things easier and then I also like to share them with you. Why in the world would I want to hold them inside and not share…we are all on the same boat…love to craft but that “time thing” gets in our way! Perhaps you like my tips, perhaps you have another solution – if so…please share!
There is nothing more frustrating that not being able to “pick up” a small object that we are working with ~ it could be a small punched out heart, a sequin etc…
Here you can see 3 ways that I like to “pick up”…

#1 – The Quickstik – I love this….and I can say that I do reach for it often. On the one end there is a putty that is a great way to “pick up” things but I mist say…..I get SUPER FRUSTRATED in getting more putty to advance forward soooooooo if anyone can give me a tip on this….I would appreciate it!
In the opposite end there is a great “pointy thing” that also is helpful. I will say that I do “reach for this” often.
I bet that you can get it at a Big Box Store and use a coupon for it but I know that you can click away and have it come right from good old Amazon. (I really am an Amazon junkie…shopping on line is the best!)
#2 – Microbrushes – These are gems….they are made for eyelashes (now that is WAY OUT OF ANYTHING I CAN COMPREHEND) – I’ll stick to using them for crafting!
I do buy them from Amazon and I use them in 2 ways~
- To dap into green glue and place on hard to get things….like sentiment die cuts, little edges that flip up (that make you mad) 👿
- I let the green glue “set up” on the end of the brush and then it is a perfect sticky piercing weapon!
#3 A good old fashion toothpick and green glue – This seems rather simple and yep…it is ~ this tip came from a blog reader and I am soooo happy as it works, it is easy and wowza – it can’t get any more affordable than this….I “stuck” it into a foam block to let it “set up & do its thing” and then when it was set – works like a charm!
Well as the saying goes…..

I hope that you learned something and if you have some tips….please share as we all know – this is how we learn, we grow, tips simply make our life easier….
Enjoy the day!

Happy Labor Day!
I bet that you are wondering – “What the heck is up with that subject line” and if I were you I would be thinking the same thing!
I am taking the “creative day off” to enjoy the day but I have been just ” itchin’ “ to share these videos with you… Stampin’ Up! teased the Demonstrators with these 3 videos (one everyday) to get us excited to see the Holiday Catalog!
I thought that it was a clever way to introduce the catalog to us before FINALLY getting to see it in its entirety! They are cute….( trust me, it is a good thing they do it right with making stamps as no best movie award will be given) but I do think that it was a clever way to get us excited!
Enjoy, I am sure that Chris R. will have a comment for us that will never make us not think of her the next time we see a gnome! See you tomorrow with some Tuesday Tips!
Enjoy the holiday!
