Good Monday! How about playing a challenge today with the most important person in the world…YOU! If you follow my blog you know that on Monday's I like to so something fun.
Today's card is as simple as it gets and here are the rules to play.

- Use a punched image on a card at least 2x's or more (if your punch matches a stamped image, that is great….like I could have used the Six Sided Sampler Set but instead I just chose to make it super simple and just use the Flashback DSP.)
- You need to have a single sentiment on the front of the card.
- The most important part…..have fun!
If you wish, please email me your take on this fun challenge and I will randomly pick one person to win this simple card and I will slide in some stampin' dimensionals for you. ( I could never pick a "winner" as you all are winners in my eyes!)
Why do I do these fun challenges…I think that they are a great way for you to continue to find a style that makes you feel comfortable with "your style" of card making.

This was a very simple card (as you can see) but it still sends the message in a very crisp and classic way! When I make a card, I try to look at it an imagine how I would feel if I received it. I will say that I love this DSP, Flashback because it coordinates with Very Vanilla. Most of our DSP works with Whisper White.

We all know that our punches are just fabulous, please do not forget that today is the last day for you take advantage of the weekly deals and there are many punches this week! Today I used the hexagon and it was a snap!
Please do not be afraid NOT to take a bunch of time in making a card…if it works for you and less is best – I am sure that it will be a beauty! I literally whipped this card up in minutes!

The longest part of making this card was using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the sentiment straight and to stamp the envelope 3 x's!
Please give it a try – it s between you and I and I will email the winner on Tuesday morning (just in case you read this later tonight)
The February Stamp of the Month Club went out this morning with John to work and the kits looked super -duper! Please make sure that you keep popping back to see March's offerings – it will be later this week.
Enjoy the day – let's have another great week and until tomorrow!

Well…it happened…it snowed…it was pretty…and today it is to be 45 degrees….CRAZY – We had snow, sleet, rain…now it is to be warm today and then Tuesday 2 degrees…..CRAZY I say!
Today's card is a simple "stepped up" version of yesterday's card….please click here to see yesterday's post. I think that they both stay true to my style of being clean and simple – today's just has a bit more "bells and whistles"…
One thing that is great about being a PAL is that we have a gallery of inspiration at our finger tips and I saw a card that had (2) pieces of paper turned to the side like this from PAL Wendy….it was stunning so I wanted to give it a spin!
I still stayed with the note card size and basically the same coloring tools etc…but I "tipped" the ends of the tulips with a bit of "blush" blendabilities markers and then blended in with the daffodil delight.

One thing I have learned about these markers is simple – THERE ARE NO RULES….I truly have no idea what I am doing but I am having fun and that's the name of the game. They just are so darn fun to work with as there are no lines! It is the best learning "playtime" one could have!
The other change I did was us a smaller piece of Whisper White to stamp the image on (2 1/4" X 4 1/4") and then the mats of the Lullaby DSP and Wild Wasabii was a "smidge" larger (2 1/2" X 4 1/4")

Did you notice a new focal point to the flowers? I stamped the stamp (well I just inked up a bit to save the DSP) and then I did a quick fussy cut and then wrapped some linen thread around it and POPPED it up!
Something that I have not done for months…paper piercing…having to dust it off the shelf – I did a quick paper piercing…how could I forget something so simple yet so effective and fun.

The envelope love came from a partial stamp of the tulip image and a quick color. REMEMBER -place a piece of scrap paper in the envelope before you use your blendabilities so it will not bleed through.
The other thing I did with the back flap of the envelope was to "2 tone" the flap by starting with a 1/4" strip of Wild Wasabi and then added the DSP….snipped around the outside of the envelope and DONE!

I hope that these 2 posts inspired you and also showed you that they both are just fine…there are simply times that we do not have a bunch of time and that is just fine…but then there are times that you just want to add a "bit more" –
Let me know how you are liking the 2-dy posta! If you have more specific questions, please feel free to email me.

Please share my blog with your family and friends…if you have not subscribed to get a daily dose of inspiration and fun, please fill out your email address right underneath the Sale-a-bration Catalog.
I love my Stampin' Up! fun and I realize that there are lots of great choices out there, please know I appreciate your support and it is a joy to see you reach your goals….you can do it!
If your weather is like mine….it's jammies day – why not stay at home and shop from home!?!? There is nothing like a great creative session…

It's weekend time…and it' another crazy winter weather time for us today….snow, ice…yuck and tomorrow it is to be in the 40's – crazy weather!
Last Saturday I had so much fun sharing a simple and clean card to you and then on Sunday I "Stepped it up a bit" so I thought I would do that again.
Card-making is all about finding a style that works for you and then simply going with it! You know that I am a clean, simple and I feel practical stamper but even when I "step it up" – I am still keeping to the "style" that works for me!

Today I am focusing on another great single stamp, Love is Kindness. Tulips are my "hands down" favorite flowers and I was so happy that Stampin' Up! offered this stamp!

You can see that there is a sentiment. I honestly did not think that I would use that sentiment a bunch so instead of having to "mask" it off each time, I decided to "cut" it off before I mounted it to the wood block. (I still have the sentiment and can always use it if I would like…just a simple surgery in the stamp room)

The sentiment I chose today is from a hostess stamp set that I just adore and I will say that I have used this hostess stamp more than any other one that Stampin' Up! has offered, Time to Celebrate. (love this sentiment and font.
The blendabilities were my friends, (again)…and this made it another quick and easy card. Tomorrow I hope that you op back as I am going to step it up a bit and you can see which one you like better!
Choices are great, choices are fun, choices keep things interesting.

Even though this was a super simple card…it is a card that I would be proud to send and I would be happy to receive! Less is best and this little note card carries a big punch filled with beauty!

This also would make a quick an sweet Easter Card and simply put an Easter sentiment on the card! Isn't creating fun…it truly allows your personality to shine!
Thanks for sharing a bit of your Saturday with me! Below you will see the products that I used for this fun card and I hope that you will pop back tomorrow to see the stepped up one!
Enjoy the day…..
