January Stamp of the Month Club!

Good afternoon…I was hoping to get this out hours ago but my computer has been tied up with upgrading my I Movie and trying to upload something to You Tube….

Yes…I am serious about this video thing that I shared with you earlier today and I used my December Stamp of the Month Club stampers as quinea pigs….I have a long way to go before they look somewhat professional but I am trying.

As my son James says…"Start Small…Think Big" I am determined…enough – let's get to the January Stamp of the Month Club Kit.

This was soooo hard to pick as I knew that I wanted to do a new stamp set from the Occasions Catalog…and it is…Sheltering Tree!

I think that when I first saw this stamp set my head was spinning as I thought of the Wonderous Wreath set in how you can change up the colors to make it useful all year round! This is the same with this set and the sentiments are WOW!

I have goodies for all seasons and I think that you will really learn to have fun mixing colors to get great depths and effects! It was an "out of the box" for me but they are super fun!

Because this is a more expensive Stamp Set, I am going to have to charge $45.00. If you have purchased my kits before, I think that you will know that it will be well worth it. This stamp set is $24.95 and trust me, I put a lot of time and love into my kits!

What will you get with a kit….

  • The Stamp Set (If you are a SUD and already have ordered this on your preorder, I will gladly substitute another stamp set at the same value, $24.95)
  • 4 Completed Samples of the cards and then the "makings" for you to make (2) more of each sample. Did you notice I am doing 4 cards this month…I am getting the "kit" thing down now and I realized that I will not have as much cutting and punching on my end so I wanted to treat you to an extra card this month. (plus I felt bad having to charge more)
  •  A handout that will give you the scoop on the card measurements, tools I used and how to put it together.
  • A video…this video will be just for the Kit Club Members….I will put together each card and give you tips and tricks along the way (I think that this months kit has a bunch of shading techniques and double stamping that the video will really, really be a huge help to you…many of us get intimidated with these techniques and I am here to say….if I can do it – YOU CAN DO IT!
  • A thank you card from me…I love to treat you to a handmade card from me (and I think that this one is super cute)

I can only make up so many kits so with that said, please do not wait to reserve a kit. This is a super busy month as I will be attending the Leadership Conference with Stampin' Up! at the end of the month and these kits need to go and get out the door before I hop on that plane!

I am super proud of this months cards…I worked hard to come up with several different ideas and techniques that I am hoping you will enjoy! Now what do you do….

You email me back and please put in the subject line January Stamp of the Month Kit and I will reserve a spot for you. Please remember, these kits are limited as my little hands (and brain) can only do so many as I do like to provide you with samples that are beautiful!

I will send a Pay Pal invoice or if you would rather pay by check, please email me.

Many thanks for your support to my Stampin' Up fun and reserve your kit today!!! Get ready to see the new catalog online tomorrow….it's a keeper!

p.s. – Stamp of the Month Kits do not count towards your Paw Print Rewards but if you purchase 4 Stamp of the Month Kits…when you order your 5th one…I will "double up" the cards for you to make!

The “hourglass” has turned….

Happy “Sunny” Sunday….

IMG_5225

Good Morning! I hope that everyone is having a great weekend! I must say…I was having a tough time getting my engine started this weekend but no one came to my "pity party" so I decided to go to the gym…take my mind off of the house and it was a great move!

How about this sweet card to brighten your day….it is rainy and bleak on the East Coast and I need some rays of sunshine! This is a sneak peak of the catalog that is unveiled on Tuesday….48 hours and counting…we all can see it….we all are excited! The stamp set is called So You.

One thing (well there are lots of things) that make me "SMILE" in this new catalog is that there are many, many great sentiments like this that can truly stand on their own! I love the font and I am super happy that we have so many great options with this catalog!

I have a confession, you know that I adore square cards and I must admit….my Envelope Punch Board had dust on it ……which means that I have not made a square card for a while…..those holidays get you in many ways!

Let's get going as I hope that this card "picks you up" and makes you "SMILE".…please feel free to CASE away!

  • The Card size is a 4 1/2" Square.
  • The white stamped piece is a 3 7/8" square
  • The White Mat is 4 1/8" square

  • Letting the stamp set do it's magic…it is a 1-2-3- card! A quick POP of a daffodil delight with the 1" circle punch and then some dashes around did the trick!

IMG_5235

  • Let's get to the Crushed Curry Bakers Twine…I shared with you last week that Bakers Twine is a product that I did not use a bunch in the past and now….I love it! Not only is it the best "bang for your buck" but having multiple strands…makes the WOW happen…quick!

Did you notice that I am using both the Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry at the same time….sometimes it just works! Never be afraid to play with color…..

  • Out comes the envelope punch board…I must admit, it felt great to use it and wow – it is so darn tootin' easy! Just folllow the guide on the base and you will never go wrong!
  • How about this super fun liner….it is a Sale-A-Bration FREEBIE and it is one that you will want to have! I am having a blast playing with this paper!

IMG_5226

(Remember, you can get the swatches and also 1/4 sheets of this paper for FREE with the Occassions Paper and Ribbon Share I am offering….click here to see the post)….I will be ordering 1st thing on Tuesday!

I hope that this clean and simple card brought a smile to your face! Please feel free to email me if you have any questions of this post. I have not used Daffodil Delight a bunch lately – and it brought some sunshime to me today! Yellow always does this for me…a quick "pick me up"

Many thanks for all of the emails and comments about Rosie…she is "perking" up some…but I can say that I have never had a dog have such a hard time. She ADORES John and he left for about 2 hours yesterday and Hannah and I could not get her to stop whining for him!

Below is her in a chair – RIGHT BY JOHN…..putting that darn puzzle together!

Until tomorrow! Enjoy your day….
