This is the time of the year that we are all super busy going here and there. There are many times that we need a quick "little sometime"…a hostess gift…something unique and practical but when you go to the stores, either 2 things happen.
- Too expensive
- Not the personal touch you were looking for!
I did a blog posting last year on this but I think that I am making it a bunch easier to follow and I do hope that you try this.
EVERYONE loves using small notes like these, they are perfect for gifts, perfect for a quick note and wowzers – the themes are endless….Christmas, Birthdays, Thinking of you, Get Well etc.

Let's get going! From one sheet of cardstock you can make 2 box bottoms and the top DSP is from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack. I love these packs of paper and I am thrilled that Stampin' Up! has (2) more coming out in January!

- Cut the paper to 8” X 5 ½”
- Turn to the short side (5 1/2”) and score at 1” and then rotate the paper around and score again at 1”
- Use the bone folder all around to make the edges nice and crisp! Cut in as shown in the below pictures and use sticky strip if possible. Green Glue would be my next pick but you will have to wait for it to "set up"
- Peel off strip and fold in sides to create the box. I like to run the bone folder in the inside of the box to really burnish the adhesive to the card stock.

For the top! Be careful when using the DSP as it is thinner so do not press too hard when you score!
- Cut a 5 5/8” X 3 1/8” piece from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack and then score a 1” score all the way around.
- Cut and notch as shown and fold together to make the top of the box.
To make the cards is so easy! For today, I just used the same sentiment as we all know that they will get used for the holidays! I love the font on this sentiment, it is from the Wonderous Wreath Stamp Set.

These are fun and oh so practical! This is a staple for me in all different themes….but Birthdays and the Holidays I seem to use the most! Keeping it super simple like I have shown you makes it a gift to make not only in a jif, but it is also super affordable!

Tomorrow I will be sharing with you a "Santa List" of goodies for you…..one list for beginners and another of must haves for the die-hards! We all start somewhere but we all do not need everything!
This is the beauty that I adore about Stampin' Up!….make it work for you and what your needs are! Remember, you can click here and shop away. With the crowds out there, I love the click and wait for the Brown Truck!
Remember, there are still goodies in the clearance rack but many things have made their way to craft rooms all over…..go check it out!

Good Morning! I hope that this post finds you smiling as I was very happy with the end result as it brings back so many memories of the wonders, mystery and pure fun of "Santa" with the joy it brings to children!
I must admit, this is the 1st time I have played with this stamp set and WOW – did I have fun! I will share another great card with you on Sunday….I am adoring….simply adoring the blendabilities! I just wish there was more time to play with them.
I have lots of pictures for you today, as always….please feel free to email me if you need specific help with this card….I will say – I think that this is in the running for a holiday card (I better get going) – this Santa just makes me happy!
Here you go! Enjoy and let the reason for the season enter your heart! I am getting excited for the "peeps" to come home….making holiday cookies….planning yummy meals…visiting friends and family!

Using the Blendabilities is really fun. WHY??? Easy = You can't mess up! Because they are alcohol base they do not streak…(show lines)….you can color over and over and not hurt the paper….I am just tickled with them!
Please look at the below pictures and you will see that I did a bit of surgery on the Santa…."all is good" because there is a framelit for the mustache….which makes it soooo easy!

Tips and tricks thst make us look great all the time!

I love doing "tile designs" and today is no exception! So fast and easy….uses scraps up and the end result is fun!

Because this is a square card you need to use the Envelope Punch Board if you want to make an envelope….( I swear for just under $20.00 – this should be the tool of the year)….so fast and easy!
The Stampin Dimensionals make this "mustache" and "base" come to life as well as having fun with the White gel pen!

Well…thoughts?!?! – Please leave me a comment and let me know how you like today's post! Sunday's is using the other stamp in this set….totally different but totally fun!
John and I went to a Holiday Party last night and tomorrow I wil share with you the hostess gift I gave…so easy and so practical.Enjoy the day and until tomorrow….
I thought you would enjoy seeing a picture of Rosie….she acts like she has lived here all her life! She is so sweet and fits in with the "boys"

If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the project.

We have such a busy and exciting day hopping to all PALS that are participating in today’s Blog Hop! In total there are 38 ….so I am sure that your “creative tank” will be filled to the brim today!

With the theme of using products that would be “keepers” on a “Wish List”…I think that I have just about all of my bases covered here today! Please feel free to email me if you have specific questions on the “how to’s” for today’s post.
If you follow my blog (and I hope that you do) I usually go into great depth about my projects but since I know you have so many blogs to visit…I am going to try to keep it short but I have lots of pictures for you
I adore this Curvy Keepsake Framelit…..WHY? Easy-peasy…you can use it all year long which make me smile…so darn practical and always fun.
Look at the below 2 pictures and you will see that it truly uses minimal paper and it is fun to play with different patterns!

I like to make a window and I used the #3 Circle and then to make the band in Cherry Cobbler, I used #3 & #4….this is an optional step but I like the way it looks!

The paper I used today is perfect for making 3 –D projects as it is much heavier than our regular card stock. It is so classic and works for so many different themes! LOVE it!
Who doesn't like chocolates and who would not think that this is a super cute project! I do hope that you have fun making some as I am sure that you are going get smiles……

Well that's it fun, festive and unique.
The next stop is Stop #33,Jane Knudsen at see jane stamp on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you in 2015.

I am sure that you all know where I am coming from…isn't it just wonderful to receive a gift that not only you really love but a gift that is very practical and useful!
When I was a Creative Memories Consultant (eons ago) I always had an incredible Open House for my customers filled with great ideas and kits….incentives…make-n-takes etc…but the one thing that they LOVED to do was to fill out a wish list to give to their hubbies, their children, parents etc….and then I would love being the elf to make the smiles come to life!
I truly wish that we could be together for an Open House and you betcha that I would spoil you to as I love to see people create but more importantly to have fun and embrace an inner confidence of success! But…being that we live all over the country…we simply have to make the best of it!

What better way to get products that you love…products that you use and perhaps product that you would not purchase for yourself (as if you are like me….it is more fun to buy for others than yourself)…my suggestions to you is to make a list….check it twice and then share my email with your loved ones!
If your hubbie or family/friends are like mine…they would be frustrated in going online and placing a Stampin' Up! order for you (as they are probably clueless of our products that we love)….again, please share my email and I will be glad to walk them through the process in ordering.
Here is a Hostess Code that is good until Monday, December 15th. One person will reap the hostess benefits and really be smiling with extra Stampin' Up cash!

I used to be a Scrooge about giving a Gift Certificate or a Gift Card…well – my thought process on this one has changed completely.
I adore getting certificates as…(a treat for me is to get my nails done….and I hate to spend my money on it but wow – when I get a gift certificate to go see Shelly, I am super happy)

Please feel free to share this post today with your family and friends and I will take care of them! If it is helping them with a "Wish List" that you have personally created and they need the help in how to order…share my email and I will be their elf!
Some great ideas for gift certificates would be for Stamp of the Month Clubs, Paper/Ribbon Shares and of course…just a specific amount and then you have fun picking!
Click here to see the weekly deals….my TOP pick – WOOT-WOOT, the envelope framlits! Could not…would not, be without them! This makes a great gift ($20.21) for a friend that also has the stampin' bug like we do! (remember to use the hostess code)
Here is a new stamp set – just released today!…..it is called Snuggles and Smooches – oh sooooo cute – I can already see the visions of masterpieces and wow – the little boxes will be fabulous for Valentines!

In closing, I deeply thank you for your kindness, support and trust in me. I love what I do and I love helping you. Knowing that I made you smile this holiday would be the best gift to me as well…thanks!
Until tomorrow….it's the PALS blog hop…..get ready for FUN!
