Stamp of the Month Club!

IMG_2734

Good Morning…for the past several days I have shared with you that I was going to be offering a new program for you and I am super excited about it and I hope that you are too!

Have you ever been in the middle of doing something and all of the sudden a "light-bulb" went off in your head? Well that is exactly what happened to me and this is how I finally P U S H E D myself into do this!

I have shared with you before that I was a Creative Memories Consultant for many years and I did love it. I adored my customers (just like I adore you) but I will say that the one thing that my customers loved is when I would make kits for them…

WHY? Easy-peasy…they simply did not have to think…they could accomplish a project and feel great about themselves as THEY DID IT!

Please "take it all in" as to what my Stamp of the Month Club is all about! Each month I will feature a stamp set and create (3) Clean & Simple cards! Clean and Simple is what makes me roll and I know that many of you are the same.

Here's the scoop!

  • The cost of the Stamp of the Month Kit is $40.00. ( This works out to be less than $2.50 per card) This month's kit is featuring the For All Things Stamp Set (if you are a "wood mount" stamper, simply add $7.00 to the kit price.)

135155G

  • You will get (3) competed cards along with lined envelopes (you know me…that is my trademark…my envelopes and my trio dots)
  • I will provide you with all of the pre-cut card stock and embellishments to create (2) more cards exactly like the sample I provided for you. (All you have to do is do the stampin'…how fun and easy)

IMG_2730

  • These cards will not be posted on my blog…these are for just the Stamp Club Members! I will provide for you step by step instructions for you to save and use to make other cards!

I am sure you have some questions…and one that I am sure you are asking is…what if I already own this stamp set? NO WORRIES, simply let me know of another stamp set at the value of this or less (this month it is $17.95) and I will sent you that stamp as a subsitution but you will still get the samples and kit for this month!

This is a GREAT way to build up your stamp inventory and also not only learn new techniques, you will have the actual sample in your hand to help put your kit together!

Last week when I was at Teds…I was putting together a Stampin' Up Holiday Kit.(I'll blog about it next week) There was a neighbor there watching me put it together and she was totally overwhelmed…I asked her why did she think it was hard? Her answer = I would have no clue if I was reading the instructions…but if I had a sample…maybe I could do it!

BINGO….she was right! I know that many of us worry about….how did she do that….or that card is great but I do not have that embossing folder etc…with this program, you have no worries what so ever. I have it all ready for you…and I know that YOU CAN DO IT!

IMG_2724

For this month I am showing you a bit more of the cards that I will be making but I wanted you to see for yourself how this is a great opportunity for you to sit down and create cards and walk away with 9 completed cards along with lined envelopes PLUS your stamp set! WOWZERS!

Please email me and put in the Subject line – September Stamp of the Month Club, and I will email you back confirming your order and send you a Pay Pal Invoice. Please make sure that I have a mailing address for you.

When I email you back, I will let you know the ink colors and adhesives that I have used in case you want to add them to your kit…this is so easy!

IMG_2728

As you can see that there is a lot of preparation on my end to provide you the samples. I take great pride in my work and I want each and every card to be a source of inspiration to you.

The cut off for this kit of is Monday, September 22nd.

I hope that this is a source of fun inspiration for you! If you are a demonstrator and want to take advantage of this – super-de-duper…it is a great way to teach and share!

I thank you for popping in…until tomorrow…. it is Make it Mine Monday!

Have a super day!

YEE-HAW….again!!!

IMG_2717

Happy Saturday to all! Yesterday I posted a card for a friends Birthday. Tom is one special person to our family as not only is he Hannah's horse trainer….we are proud to call him our friend! He has kept Hannah challenged yet safe for many years!

He has a smile that never stops shining and he is truly one of the most positive individuals I know. He is truly one that thinks of the "sunny side" of life! He is soooooo funny as during the week he does not eat chocolate…Sunday is the day that he enjoys his favorite treats….Peanut M & M's!

Tomorrow the fabulous group of families that go to the barn are having a birthday party for him at the river! We alwasy have fun at the river and there are so many dogs that come…play…swim….just a great time all the way around! I know that Tom will love his card and goodies!

IMG_2711

If you look at the pictures you will see that I made (8) of these pouches…why 8? Well….easy – there are 8 more Sunday's until Halloween and then I will restock him up with something else cute for his weekly treat!

IMG_2721

Each pouch holds 4 packs of M&M's and you can see that I used just about all of the stamps in this super fun stamp set! Please click here to see yesterday post that I focused on the card. These adorable and practical pouches have an endless amount of uses. They are called the Mini Muslin Bags and are on page 200 in the catalog!

I love the soft, fun and natural look and feel of these bags! You can see that I added a piece of Baked Brown Sugar Bakers Twine and you can also see that I just simply stamped many of the images and the "free-hand" cut around the shape of the sentiment…no worries…just do it!

IMG_2715

I must confess…I have never used these adorable clothespins and I am asking myself WHY!!!??? You know that I prefer simple over fussy and I always thought that they would be too distracting but I think they are what makes these adorable gifts!

133320G

So what do you think? Aren't they super cute? I am going to pile them in a basket and fru-fru it up a bit…a perfect gift! I find it so rewarding to make my own gifts…I say they are true gifts from the heart!

IMG_2719

Have a wonderful day and please pop tomorrow as I have a SUPER SUNDAY offering for you! I am hopeful that you are going to love it and appreciate it as it is a gift of my heart to you….to be able to share my passion for simple and clean cardmaking with you!

I appreciate your time, you support and also your passion for cardmaking! I truly love what I do and I love to help and inspire you.

In closing, sad news…my dear friend Ted passed away. Although I know it is a blessing it is hard. I have fabulous memories of an incredible man.

Until tomorrow…..

“Howdy” and YEE-HAW!

IMG_2703

Guilty as CHARGED! I must confess that when Stampin' Up! 1st came out with the Photopolymer Stamps…I was like a 3 year old having my Mom telling me to eat my vegetables! I was not a fan of them…but my opinion has changed!

I LOVE THEM!

Why….??? They are sooo darn tooting easy to use! Not only can you see through them when you stamp…they are super easy to clean…they stick like glue to you mounting blocks…and the best thing is that the image is "pin perfect"

IMG_2693

This stamp set is from the NEW set called Yee-haw!!! (you just can't help but love the name)…and there are so many options that you can use this stamp set for…..a child….an adult….something just plain fun and whimsical!

138107G

As you know I love to be square…and today is no different, The card is a 4 1/2" square and the colors of the card is Soft Suede and the Ivory Naturals….now let me ask you  – when was the last time you used Ivory Natural Paper….and next – do you even know about this paper!?!?

IMG_2702

I love this paper as it has "flecks" throughout it to give it a warm and soft feel. This looks great with many neutral and warm color paper! I used the same color on the "horse shoes" to do a tone on tone effect! It also comes in Naturals White and that too is a keeper! Both of these papers also make incredible envelopes!

IMG_2701

I used Crumb Cake to stamp the lasso and then "fussy cut" it out which really was super easy with the paper snips! I pieced the middle with the tip and then ZOOM….a quick snip all the way around!

IMG_2699

I punched a hole in the upper right corner and then cut a narrow strip of the 1 1/4" burlap ribbon…and a quick and easy wow…the perfect touch! The stampin dimensionals were the perfect finishing touch! (love those stampin' vitamins)

CONFESSION: I was actually dreading fussy cutting this out but it really was a cinch and the effect of having the lasso over top of the ivory naturals paper is WORTH IT – love the look and using the green glue made it easy as well!

IMG_2696

Because of the square envelope, the envelope punch board was in order and the liner was a a cinch  – mimicking what I did on the card – I carried the theme to the back flap… but then the front….well, I just could not resist!

I do hope that you take the extra time to give your envelopes some extra love! Think about it this way…it is the very first thing that the recipient sees…it gives you an "instant excitement" as to what is next!

This card is for Hannah's trainers Birthday! He will love it but he will love what I post about more tomorrow as it will be "Part #2" of this post! Please pop back and you will see why!

Please feel free to shoot me an email or leave me a comment!

Enjoy your day and get ready for someting super fun that I know many of you will love on Sunday! A new "offering" I am doing that will make it SUPER EASY to have a great stack of cards…that YOU do !!!!

Until tomorrow!

PPA Challenge…SUPER STAR!

IMG_2671

Good Thursday Morning! It is Thursday and that means another PPA Challenge and this weeks challenge is a color challenge using the below colors!

Screen shot 2014-08-31 at 8.29.12 AM

I wanted to "think out of the box" and try not to use the NEW Holiday Catalog and here is what I came up with! I saw this technique a long time ago when I to a card making class and never had tried it! I was super happy with the end result….what do you think? Please feel free to leave me a comment if you wish!

IMG_2665

The Blackberry Bliss seems to photograph so dark but in real life these colors are great together! Think about the card…it would be perfect for a birthday, a graduation, a promotion….a simple woot-woot to make someone day!

IMG_2668

You can see that the main components that are this "STAR" card (ha-ha) is the Star Framelits and the simple stitching using the white gel pen..you know I love to do that and it makes just the perfect touch!

1st, lets talk about the sentiment! I stamped is from the Fabulous Four Stamp Set and to me…it is ONE FABULOUS STAMP SET! Just love all 4 of the sentiments and the other great thing is that these sentiments fit perfect on scraps you have….I just love using up my scraps!

134174G

After I stamped the sentiment I took the paper snips to make it into a banner and then measured the width…it really does not matter how wide you make it, you just want to make sure that you measure it so you know how to do the next step!

IMG_2669

I found the center of the crumb cake and made a pencil mark an then did equal to the left & right. Out comes the paper piercing tool and I poked holes above below where the sentiment banner goes!

I simply threaded the Crushed Curry Bakers Twine through the holes and then doubled up a small piece and tie a bow on the middle one! Easy and super cute!

IMG_2672

The finale of today's post is the lining of the envelope! East-peasy with the help of the Envelope Liner Framelit…."Heavens to Betsy"….I couldn't share a card to upi without a pretty envelope!!!

Thanks for popping in and I hope that you go to the Pals Paper Art Website and see the inspiratation that is here this week and then I hope that YOU play with these colors and submit your take on the challenge!

Many thanks for all of the kind words for Ted, I am still here but heading back home today. He is a trooper and has such an amazing network of friends. People have been coming in shifts to help stay with him at the hospital!

Enjoy the day and until tomorrow!
