Happy Tuesday to all! I am back and my time schedule is all off but I am ready to get to some inspiration for you this week!I am "over the moon" happy that you enjoyed the cards from the Spring Swap! I have enjoyed reading the comments as you all have been receiving cards!
This is a busy week for many with Easter being on Sunday…many children are off school…many of you are traveling and many of you are probably expecting company!
Do you remember last week I shared with you that John asked me to make a sympathy card for a client’s family and even though he loved it…he thought it was too feminine! I “get it” but I will say that it is a beautiful card!
My inspiration came from fellow PAL Windy Ellard and she used something similar in a totally different way! She used it as a Mothers Day Card and the base was a bold Primrose Petal Card Stock! I know that I have shared with you a ca-zillion times before but here you go again….(My wonderful Mom used to say… you can’t hear a good thing too many times!!!)
When you find a layout that works…go for it – it's your new friend for life!
Use it over and over again – simply change out the colors of paper…perhaps tweak the sizes of paper…change out the sentiment and PRESTO – another gorgeous creation from YOU!!!
This is one of those cards..a true keeper but what I adore about it is the amount of “white space” or should I say Very Vanilla! Let’s go…it feels great to be back blogging!

• The base is Very Vanilla A-2 size and then I cut my mat piece at ¼” smaller = 5 ¼” X 4” • Using the Honey Comb Embossing Folder I ran it thru my main stampin’ man…Mr. Big Shot! Isn’t the effect wonderful!
• Cutting a piece of Very Vanilla to 3" X 3 3/4" and then using the Field Flowers Stamp Set, I Stamped the image letting the stem go off the bottom of the paper!

• In the picture you see below, you will see that I actually double stamped this! You can see in the picture of the stamp set that there are 2 flowers…always stamp the lighter color 1st and then the darker color with the other stamp! (I used pink pirouette and Primrose Petal) …also – ( I only did the 2 tone on the big flower – I do not think the smaller one needs to be done twice!!!)

• Pulling out the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig…I stamped the sentiment that is from the Stamp Set Petite Pairs in Primrose Petal. This is a great Stamp Set that is often over- looked!
• Now you can mat this to the primrose petal that is a smidge bigger and I POPPED it up with Stampin' Dimensionals but before you adhere it down….

• Here comes a little fun – take a small piece of Primrose Petal Ribbon and fold it over and then anchor it with a piece of sticky strip or even tape (you’ll never see it) and then tie a super simple bow with the natural tread from the gold bakers twine!
TIP ALERT: – How did I do that???….easy peasy..I really wish we had a vanilla bakers twine but you can do it…just simple “pull” the gold thread from the bakers twine and voila’ – DONE!

- The only thing left is old faithful lining the envelope! What would we have done without the envelope framelit liner? It is a totally keeper! The liner is from the In-Color Designer Series Paper Stack a simple “go-to” that always work!

I hope that you can visualize how practical this card layout is! I will admit, I forget about using the embossing folders and my friend Jeanie always says …”Why not – they are the best bang for your buck”…and once again, she is right! Just think, for just $7.95 look at the WOW effect it gives this card!
Now I need your help…please give me some feedback as to how you like below the way I am listing the products used! All you need to do is click on the image and it will take you right to my on line store….but you will also be able to visualize the image larger!
You have heard me say how amazing Mary Fish’s PALS team is…well – a wonderful hubby of a PAL developed this and I am just amazed!!! It does save me a bunch of time but I welcome your feedback!
True there is a learning curve for me as I am like an "Old Horse" – I just keep doing things over and over as it works! I am "game" for learning new things but I appreciate your feedback!

Today is the magical day that my husband can see the end of the Tax Road – yeah – April 15th….he has been working so hard for the past several months…I have something special up my sleeve to do with him after work on Wednesday! Let's hope for great weather and I think I can get the mission accomplished!
Please feel free to email me and please op back tomorrow as I have a super fun card that Jeanie and I took a class on – it looks hard….but it is easy-peasy!!! The best thing is that Jeanie figured it out to make it in an A-2 card for the Spring Swap!
I made it as an odd size….just like I like it – so until tomorrow!

WOWZERS….long training day but a wonderful day yesterday! It is energizing to be with such a great group of Stampin' Up! totally fun Demonstrators! There is one person that has been a Demonstrator for just 2 months and there is one person that has been with SU for 16 years!
The moral of this story is…everyone is at all different levels with a variety of experience but we all have the common inner desire…to continue to learn, grow, inspire and reach goals!
Let's touch on goals…we all have different ones and that what is GREAT….yours might be to make Easter Cards….yours might be to help a charitable organization….yours might be "to have an outlet" for yourself…what ever it is –
It's o.k. because it is what YOU choose to go after!

Well….what do you think – I think inspiration to the MAX!!! I am glad that you are starting to receive your cards….I know that it is sooooo exciting to get a goodie in the mail!
At the training today we had a wonderful surprise….remember there are only 30 of us here….and surprise! From the home office came 3 Stampin' Up! employees that were wonderful, informative and as always….very genuine!
Remember when I said how fun it is to get a goodie in the mail? Well the home office gave us the reports on the Paper Pumpkin program and it is H O T and on fire! We had the opportunity to preview the April one….and for those of you that are Paper Pumpkin subscribers with me…woot-woot!!!! This is the week we should be receiving them!
Thanks for popping by and I will have another W A V E of fun for you tomorrow…

Hello from Arizonia! It is beautiful here and I adore the warm weather! I am just amazed at how large Tucson is…I was able to spend time with my cousin and her family on Thursday evening – it was wonderful! Yesterday morning I was up and off to the airport to pick up Brian King….and let the fun times begin!
What a great guy…we had lunch together and a fun afternoon before going to our first function for the weekend! We attended a "Sip and Swap" with the 30 people that are here….so I will have even more swap cards to share with you!
Here comes the 1st wave of cards from the Swap…
Today I am showing you 10 cards that I received from the people that participated in the Spring Card Swap I offered…I will be show casing every-ones cards….so please do not worry if you do not see your today! WOW – they are all fabulous!
