Tomorrow is the day that we have been waiting for!
I am working this afternoon making up my order and here is another opportunity for you to see the ribbons from the new catalog that I am offering for you!
I am super excited this year as SU has really hit it out of the ballpark with the new ribbon! We all know that it is great to have it all…but we all know that if we had it all – it would be a big chunk of change and the reality is…we also want the new stamp sets!!!! (trust me – I totally "get it")
You will see below in the picture how the ribbon will arrive to you! I apologize but I did not have the opportunity to do the "Susan Touches" on it but each card of ribbon will have the Ribbon Name and then underneath of each color, I will provide you the color name and the item # for your references!
(I edited this for the post, but you will see in the other pictures that I did not do it…I will include ribbon numbers as I know that makes it so easy for a quick reference!)

The "type A" comes out in me and and I think organization and marketing is key to presenting a product. You will see that I am passing onto you a wonderful savings/opportunity as I basically took the price of what a roll would be…added the sales tax and then if necessary rounded it up to make the math easier (I am not the numbers person…dear John is)
ENJOY and please shoot me and email if you have any questions and also email me if you would like to order the ribbon! Please put in the subject line RIBBON ORDER so I can spot it quickly!
I am super happy that Stampin Up! has really "beefed up" the ribbon offerings…I think my favorite is going to be the 1/4" Cotton Ribbon! You will see that you can order this share a la carte…..order by the number in front of the ribbon offering!
If you order 1 to 3 bundle offerings your shipping & handling will be $4.95 (please indicate the number/name of the ribbon shares you want)

Two weeks from today is Father’s Day! When I saw this new stamp set in the catalog there were several cards that came into my head to make…this is one of them! I posted before that when I was little, the traditional gift that my siblings and I would give to my Dad was always a new tie and some cashews.
I think this card is fun and simple – it was easy to make. This stamp set comes with matching framelits, and it is a bundle – woot-woot – an instant 15% off!
Tomorrow is the day that we all have been waiting for…the new catalog!
This stamp set has so many fun and adorable stamps that can be used for the “baby at heart” or also for a variety of other occasions, just like today’s card.

- The card is a note card size and starting tomorrow, Stampin’ Up! will be making the note card and matching envelopes in Crumb Cake, I am soooo happy about that as I use this size over and over! Today you can see it is the good old faithful whisper white!
Memory Time: Another thing that reminds me of my Dad and ties are the fact that probably over 90% of his ties are stripes of some sort. (I was going to cut the ties with the framelits out of stripe DSP but I just loved the polka dots!)
- To “pull in the stripe thing for me”, I took a piece of Crumb Cake just a smidge smaller (1/4") and than ran it through the Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder.
- Knowing that I wanted my Night of Navy ties to be “front and center” to the card today…I took the Squares Framelits and cut the center out of the crumbcake embossed piece using the #4 framelit.
Tip Alert: – When I refer to #’s on the templates…the smallest one is #1 and then I go outward. To me this makes it super easy and consistent. Also, when I made a shape like this, I take a pencil and trace a faint line so if I am lining something up or stamping – I know that I can get it perfect each time! A simple eraser is your best friend!

- Using the #4 and #5 Square Framelit, I made a “frame” for around my box for the front of the card! This is a simple and easy tip that always makes your card stand out…
- I did pull out my trusty friend, the stamp-a-ma-jig…WHY???…I ask WHY NOT? To me if you are going to make a card, go ahead and do the next step…use the tools that we have and use them to your advantage! The sentiment of from good old’ Teeny Tiny Wishes, the perfect “go-to” stamp set for quick and easy sentiments!
- I placed the "edges" of the Stampin Dimensionals to the back of the ties to give them some pop! We do not waste a thing with the stampin' vitamins!
- Envelope time…because this card is so classic, I decided to use a solid color of paper to line the envelope – sometimes I think that we always feel that we need to use DSP…but this keeps it super simple and masculine!

- The front of the envelope is a simple and as cute as can be…a simple tie and the sentiment – this will surely put a smile on my Dad's face as well as the mailman's!
That's it…Isn't this soooo darn cute! Simple…clean…fun! I must admit – I forget about the embossing folders and when I do use them – I always smile!
My friend Jeanie uses them all of the time and as she says –"For $7.95 – how can you go wrong as they make a card go from good to GREAT with a crank of the Big Shot" I need to listen to her more….she's one talented and fun lady!

Well my friends…..the time has come….the hourglass has been turned and we are all going to be doing the WOOT-WOOT tomorrow with the new catalog!
Remember, you will not be able to do orders until noon Mountain Time as Stampin' Up! has to do it's magic to get the new numbers in order for us to click away!

You will be able to view the catalog online….be able to order to your heart's content….and also have the opportunity to be the hostess as I will have a hostess code for you to put on your order and I will randomly pick 1 person that orders from me…to win the hostess benefits!!!!
More details and the code tomorrow…I am super excited and I also will share with you some of the MUST HAVES that are on my 1st order!

I made it to Florida and it is wonderful to be with family! My intentions are to email all of the people that order ribbon shares from me today…it has been a busy but an incredible past couple of days!
Get ready to do the happy dance…let the fun begin with the new catalog!
Until tomorrow!

Yesterday I shared with you that I am trying to use colors that I often forget to use etc…and yesterday it was using the color Soft Sky…(click here to see that post) and today I am using Rich Razzleberry! Once again, I cannot say why I do not use this a bunch as it is such a fun and bold color!
You can also see that this is a tall and skinny card – you know I like mixing things up and making odd shape cards and now that we have the super fun envelope punch board, I ask you "why not???" For just under $20.00 this gem makes envelopes and so much more!

Let’s get to it!
- I started with a piece of Rich Razzleberry that was 7” X 6” and then I scored it at 3 ½” to end up with a 3 ½” X 6” card! The Very Vanilla that I adhered with “green glue” measured 2 ½”” X 5”
- Using the NEW Stamp Set, In This Together (don’t you love the name) I stamped it on a piece of Very Vanilla that is 2” X 4 ½” using the new Memento Ink Pad….WHY??? When you use the (woot-woot) Blendabilities you should use this and it is a GREAT Black ink!

Comment– I know that you all are as excited as I am about these new pens and I love the fact that Stampin’ Up! is on trend with coming out with these Alcohol Ink Markers (each color assortment has 3 markers in a set)….but they WILL NOT be ready to order on Monday when the catalog launches!
I know that it is disappointing but they know that the supply is not as high as the demand is going to be on Monday and far better to know this now than be disappointed that they are on back-order…
Stampin’ Up! is hoping that they will be available at the beginning of July but I will let you know as soon as I see an update with a confirmed date….BUT – do you remember that as a Demonstrator we were able to order 6 out of the 13 color combinations they come in…..and do you remember that right now SU is offering a $50.00 special in taking a test drive with SU…..???

This is a great example of not have anything to loose and gaining great benefits! If you want to get SU products at a discount to “support your habit” than this is the perfect time to email me and I will be happy to give you the codes you need as these markers would count towards your $50.00 opening order!
Actually you could order (3) sets of the markers and the Memento Ink Pad and that would be $53.75 – BINGO…done!
- I used the Blendabilities to color in this fun image. The marker colors I used were from the Rich Razzleberry Assortment (for the dress) and the (shoes and lips) were from the Cherry Cobbler Assortment and the (flower and drink) were from the Daffodil Delight Assortment!

Comment – I honestly have not had a solid block of time to play at length with them but what I will say is…they color soooo darn easy and that since there are 3 shades in each assortment (light, medium & dark)…it makes it fun and easy to use and shade plus they are like our markers and have a brush end and a fine tip end!
- Matting this on a piece of Crushed Curry that is 2 1/8” X 4 5/8” and then POPPED up with Stampin’ Dimensionals!
- The WOW part is the envelope! I used the Envelope Punch Board with a piece of paper that was 8” X 8” and then followed the directions on the board – scoring it at 3 1/8”.
- I lined the outer flap with the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack and then jazzed it up a bit with using the Pansy Punch and the new heart that is in the punch pack….cute, right!?!?

I love making the envelope both fun and festive! There are many ways that you can do this…and this is a great example!
We made it home for 10 hours and then we are off this morning for Pensacola with my Dad! We had a FABULOUS time in Boston and the weather was just spectacular.

Many thanks for all of the great “ribbon share” orders! Please click here to see the post from the other day and if you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity to get the NEW ribbon at a fraction of the cost please email me and put in the subject line RIBBON SHARE (this helps me when I look at emails)

I am pleased to offer this to you for many reasons, but most importantly for you to be able to get a great selection of all of the new ribbon and use it 1st hand and then you can make the decision later of you want a whole roll. The minimal amount of ribbon you will receive for a certain ribbon is 2 1/2 yards! We all know that there are LOTS of stamp sets that you are "itching" to get…so this offering really helps!
Enjoy your Saturday and get ready to be super excited with the NEW Catalog…I feel like we are getting so close to turn over that hourglass!
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the $50.00 test drive…your 1st order will allow you to take a 1 time 30% off and how about that – you can order the NEW things on Monday and get them for 30% off and not have to but another order in until October 31st and if you decide that you do not want to order again…no worries…no penalties!!!
Until tomorrow!

I just love this Stamp set, Summer Silhouette and I have been trying to s t r e t c h myself to use colors that I do not normally use…so today's card is focusing on Soft Sky! I'm not sure why I do not use this color much but I invite and encourage you to reach out of your comfort zone and try to use colors that you normally would not use!
Next week is my Breast Cancer Card week and with being away so much I thought that this would be a great card to make and change up the sentiment. This card is a great example of "a formula" that I have posted about many times – when you have a design or a stamp that will be very versatile for many themes…please use it over and over again! It's like that "little black dress" – never goes out of style!

Let's get to the card….
- The base is an A-2 card size in Soft Sky but made into a vertical card…scored at the 5 1/2" line – the white part is 1/4" smaller and as you can see in the above photo, it is key to spread out your leave image so it takes up a good deal of the card!

- The accent color is Bermuda Bay = so rich and bold. I stamped all of the flowers and then also stamped one on a scrap piece of paper and fussy cut it out and adhered it to the flat image.
(This set looks dynamite in really bold and rich colors – give the card a completely different look!)

- The accent color in the flower and for the sentiment is my "go-to" soft neutral, soft suede and then a pearl seemed to be the perfect simple accent!

- The sentiment is from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set. I have been trying to only show you stamp sets that are being carried over with the new catalog, and you know I use this a bunch – it always seems to work out and I think for this card, I like the width of the sentiment!

- Adding my trade mark "3 dots" seemed to do the trick with adding movement to the card!

- You know what's left…envelope time! Going to my "Old Faithfuls" – the Designer Series Paper Pack and today I used the Subtles to pull more of the soft sky! With the help of the envelope liner framelit and the Big Shot – quick, easy and done!

Well…thoughts? I think that this is one great card…I can see it with Happy Birthday….Thinking of you…even with a sympathy sentiment! It is amazing how you can make minimal changes to create a different mood!
Since both of these stamp sets are going to be around in the new catalog….put them on your "wish list" Please remember if you have an upcoming birthday…and anniversary….etc – remember that I would love to help that special someone get you things you love…..Stampin' Up! products….have them email me and I will take care of it! Easy…done!
Enjoy your day…make someone smile!
Until tomorrow!

There is a special day just around the corner…Monday, June 2nd! This is a day that we all have been patiently waiting for…
The day of the NEW Catalog…the day we get to do what we love to do…
SHOP for the new stamp sets…the new papers…the new accessories that will make us happy!
When there is a new catalog we want it all…wanting and getting it can be 2 different things and trust me – I have been there and I am sure that this scenario will ring true to many of you!
Stampin' Up! has strict guidelines as to what we are allowed to do before the new catalog launches. To make it easy and more importantly affordable for you, I have compiled the NEW ribbons that are in the catalog and have divided the rolls of ribbons into 1/4's for you to have an opportunity to "get them all" at a fraction of the cost if you were to but them by the roll!
If you wish to purchase them, you simply email me and I will send you an invoice for your share. SU does not allow us to do a "Buy Now" directly from our blogs, but once you email me and let me know what you want, I will be right back in touch about the payment. I am ordering on Monday so please do not wait so I can continue to work on my order!
Why am I doing this? EASY-PEASY…
- We all know that we want the new goodies so why not have the opportunity to get them all…try them and then you will know in the future if you want to but the whole roll!
- If you are a Demonstrator – this is a great opportunity to showcase all of the new ribbons in an attractive and functional presentation for customers to see, feel and play with!
You will see below in the picture how the ribbon will arrive to you! I apologize but I did not have the opportunity to do the "Susan Touches" on it but each card of ribbon will have the Ribbon Name and then underneath of each color, I will provide you the color name and the item # for your references!
