Today's post serves 2 purposes….wishing a friend a Happy Birthday and making a difference to the Ronald McDonald House! Stampin' Up! is so proud ( and so am I) that we donate $3.00 for every stamp set we sell! – WOW….what a great cause and what a great Stamp Set!

The Stamp Set is Tag It, and it is just plain fun and makes me laugh with this little critter! The other bingo-bango thing about this stamp set it that it coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits. Don't we all love the framelits!

This little "goober critter" makes me laugh and I know my friend Tracy will look at this and say…what the heck…and then she'll laugh! As you all know I love the designer series papers and how do you think I cam up with this color combination?…?…
Remember yesterday…..the Tips for Tuesday, where I focused on Color Coach…well – I wanted to do one more card using the color coach while we have just been focusing on it! Today's color I pulled is Pink Pirouette!

As you can see on the above picture, it will give you a color combination that works well together! Well…what do you think? I know for sure that I would not have chosen these together and I like it! The Color Coach really is a must as it will save you a lot of time and frustration when your "creative juices" are not flowing!
Crumb Cake is my all time "neutral" favorite and I am so glad that Stampin' Up! came out with the Note Card Size of envelopes….did you realize that ( pg. 162)???? For just $5.50 you can get 40 Crumb Cake Envelopes for just $5.50! BARGAIN!!!!! Click Here to order yours today! I truly love this little size!

After "listening to and trusting the Color Coach" I pulled out the Designer Series Papers in the Subtles and the Neutrals! Having a little help from the 1" Square Punch made this and easy and quick!
I stamped my little critter in Crumb Cake and then also stamped it in the Pink Pirouette and Pool Party to cut out the balloons! Quick, Simple, Fun and very versatile!

The envelope goes without saying….a quick liner using the ***NEW Envelope Liner Framelits**** that will be unveiled on Thursday…made this a "quickie" for me today! I will say I am on the fence about this….but all in all – you will simply have to have it!!!
Do you know what tomorrow is….it is the Pals Paper Art Challenge and I am happy to say that I have my card finished and it is an "out of the Susan box"….and I like it! Please, PLEASE try to participate….it is fun, rewarding and it is open to everyone and that means YOU!!!!
I cannot thank you for your support and dedication you have given to me and my blog, I would have never imagined that I could reach so many! I thank you and I appreciate you!
Until tomorrow…..

On Wednesday I shared a post with you with a circle card! I had many responses stating that it was a hit but I found it super funny how many of you left comments and sent me emails about the fact that you missed the envelope! You all are the best!

Well…..as you all know I love my envelopes, I had to do a bit of "searching" to find something fun and different for you!

You all know that you can make your own custom envelopes using the Simple Scoring Tool….some sticky strip adhesive and voila….your own envelope! Just in case you have never printed of the super quick and always "fool proof" measurements for making perfect envelopes…here you go!
This is from my upline, Mary Fish and she is always so sweet and generous to share her tips and tricks! After all…we all have so much to offer to one another….why keep it to yourself! I have mine in my work area laminated as I use it so often!

Now to the super cool circle card that really comes together in a snap and it is so much fun with the different colors to coordinate with my card from Wednesday! Here is the website where I learned it from! Fun….right?????

I followed it to a tee and it worked out super-duper! I think I have that little "peak hole" gap in the middle because of using the Scallop Circle but when it is all said and done….a mailing label will easily fill that spot and on the reverse side you could either put a sticker….or simply stamp and image in another piece of paper and adhere it there….that would be super cute!

I hear from facebook that convention is on full swing and everyone is having the time of their lives! It is not only sooooo amazing of the talent and passion Stampin' Up! demonstrators have but the dedication and inspirations we receive for you AMAZING blog followers is so appreciated!
I love my local customers and I love my cyber customers…I feel like you love here in my town! The internet is such an amazing tool to be able to be in touch with so many all over!
I have a son that has lived in China for the past 4 years….and WOW – what would I have done without the internet and skype! I am thrilled to say that he is coming home in 10 days ( of course a Mom would count) and has taken a job in the stated for the year! So exciting!

Thanks a bunch for popping by today and I hope that you try this….it really is a fun and different twist to an envelope and once again….we all want our mailman to smile!!!
Tomorrow I am Mary Fish's guest stamper…please pop by – I think you'll smile!
Until tomorrow…..

You know I like to say I love square cards because…."It's hip to be square"…but give me some ideas in what to say with a round card!!!
All I can think of is…."the wheels on the bus go round and round…." – any idea???? Well – I think that this turned out fun….it's different at least!
The Stamp Sets used were Timeless Talk and Lots of Thanks! I have posted before on both of these stamp sets and they are great "fall backs" when needing a quick card!

The "fun factor" of this card is that it is a circle! Pulling out Mr Big Shot and using the Scalloped Circle Bigz Die to create the outer fun circle was the focal aspect to this card….the rest came together with the Circle Framelits!
How did I get it to be a card….simple! I poked a hole before adding the "white bike piece" with Stampin' demensionals and simply pushed a brad to hold the (2) scalloped Basic Grey Circle together to create a swing effect!
The fun finishing touches to this card were the Brights Candy Dots! They are the best….I must admit – I realize that you can use them with brads….but I never do that – I just love the ease of placing them exactly where I want them! Super fast and easy! The little red 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon added that special yet fun touch!
Cute….isn't it? The last little bit of fun I did was to use something that we all forget about….it the the Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen! This white gem adds a perfect finishing touch and for just $3.95, it's a keeper!!!! Little dots around the scallops was the final fun touch!

I have been asked by many if I am going to convention…..sad news….no! Since I was on a family vacation last week, I simply could not take off the time from work! I know it is going to be a blast and I am anxiously awaiting facebook chat reports from the PALS!
Email me or leave me a comment and let me know how you like this! My daughter fell in love with it and wants me to do more circle cards!
Until tomorrow…..it's a Pals Paper Art Challenge!

Today’s card will certainly make you feel happy with the fun
and vibrant colors! Isn’t it amazing how using different colors can create a
total different feel!
This type of card would be a great card to use completely
different color schemes – say go with neutrals of several browns and very
vanilla…it would be stunning!
Last week I used this stamp set, Million & One, and even
though there are only (2) stamps on this set…”buy it” as it is simply
beautiful! I just love the “flow” of the typeset!

The colors I used for this card are Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky
and Strawberry Slush! The other (2) stamp sets that create the background were
from the Flower Shop and the Mixed Bunch Stamp Sets.
A super easy card to create…just make sure that you fill up
the “stamped area” very well so when you cut it into strips the “white spaces”
are minimized!

The other TIP I can give you is….when you go to put the
“panels” on the color base…start with the far left and then the far right….then
work the others in out lightly arrange them so if you need to pull them off,
you can do so easily!
After getting the “panels of fun” just right….I added a
piece of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon around the entire panel section before
adding the sentiment part! 3 simple basic pearls made a classic touch to the
swirls of the font!

A “doubly
whammy” for the envelope fun! I stamped my own liner to match the card and then
I also added a bit of bling to the front of the envelope as well!
It is always
nice to make your mailman smile!

My family just returned last night from a fabulous vacation
in the British Virgin Islands and this card I had envisioned what colors I
would be seeing while away and I thought in advance that this would be a
perfect “thank you” for my friends that invited our family for this special
trip!
It was absolutely amazing and my tank is “charged up” for a
great week ahead! As always, I am an email away and I appreciate your comments
and inspiration!
Until tomorrow…

Now is this a
clean and classic card or what!?!
I was very pleased with the end result and just think how versatile this would be with switching up the colors that you use!
Fun…simple…classic….just a "BINGO-BANGO"type of card that anyone would love to receive!
As the saying goes…it just doesn't get any easier than this! Please CASE away and make someone smile! There are so many times that we just need to sit and make a card that it is to the point and this is it!
The simple sentiment comes from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set and I love the font style…just a simple yet effective touch…one word…this is all this card needs! I used the Black Staz on Ink to stamp the sentiment!

When you look closely, the other simple yet WOW factor that is super easy is using the needlepoint embossing folder – this is one thing that I forget about it but when I pull it out….it makes me smile!

The center stage paper is the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper ! This is probably my favorite of the new paper – why??…simple = clean, crisp and classic!!!! I also lined the OUTSIDE of the envelope flap with this paper….so beautiful!
The other simple yet effective touch is using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punches to add that simple flair to the sides of the sentiments! After "curling" it up a bit….I simply placed a classic pearl in the middle of the flower and used a glue dot to hold it in place! Simple!!!!

Please share my blog with your family and friends! You can subscribe to it in the upper right corner of my blog! I love inspiring you with "do-able", "simple" designs that can be easily adapted to any occasion!
Please feel free to email me and you can also always order any Stampin' Up ! products at any time with a simple click here….but the best thing is…you will be a customer of mine and then you will get even more inspirations from me!!!
I truly appreciate all of my customers….cyber or local and I try to "feed you" with tips and tricks to make your precious time minimal when card making but at the same time…make it fulfilling – I guess you can say the best of both worlds!!!!
I appreciate you all - until tomorrow…..
by Susan Itell | Jul 11, 2013 | Birthday, Hostess Stamp Sets, Super Easy |

Sometimes you get inspirations from others…and this would be this post!!!
It came from the the Stampin' Up's Website….but I added my own twist! I hope you like it and I hope that I have inspire you to make it or even better yet, to have a class or cyber order yourself so you can get the Stamp Set as is a "Hostess only" set!
I love the soft yet elegant look and feel of the card! The Stamp Set is Morning Meadow and at a glance you might think…"This is just o.k. – nothing too special…" but I think that this is a great example of what a fast and special card is!

Using just a minimal amount of products, this card was a SNAP to pull together! I think the effect that I love the best is the softness of the Pink Pirouette Flowers and then the boldness of the Strawberry Slush Big Flower!

The crispness of the black image is the "stand out" as well! The image of this stamp is dainty and the swirls of the image makes it a perfect back drop to put in the sentiment! After "flagging" the ends of the sentiment I popped it up to give it a "stage"
Using the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the ends of the Pink Pirouette Paper gave it a soft and feminine feel! I also took a sponge and lightly sponged the white card stock before adhering them together!

The envelope received a "double whammy" today! 1st, I lined it with the In Color Designer Series Paper and then I also stamped the lower right corner of he envelope with the beautiful flowers!

Cards can be sweet and fast…this is a great example! This would be a card that I would make multiple of to have a "stash"…just in case!!! Wouldn't it be beautiful in blues and purples…!!!
I hope today's inspiration let's you think….."I want to have a gathering to be able to get this great stamp set"!!! You can….email me here and we will either find a date that works or I can give you a "cyber code" and you can have your gathering via your cyber friends!
Also, with an order yourself of $150.00 or more…would qualify you for your own hostess $$$ which you could choose this super stamp set….
Have a fabulous day and until tomorrow……
