Whew….was that a fun Blog hop or what yesterday! I have so much fun hopping from bog to blog seeing everyone super duper ideas! To me, this monthly fun is inspiration to the max!
Speaking of inspiration…wow – my friends sure have been inspiring me and spoiling me! My husband is doing much better, getting stronger everyday and tonight I had a wonderful treat and "date" with my hubby!
A friend dropped off to me at work the most beautiful and yummy dinner…all hot and ready… I hopped in the car…went to the hospital and the 2 of us had a great meal together! Home cooked food hit the spot to him – me too!
Naturally, I needed to make her a card of thanks! I had already had a post prepared for today but this needed to be made so when I drop off her dishes tomorrow….she will have some "sunshine" of this super sweet and simple thank you!
I wanted to use a stamp set that I have not used in a while so out came the World Treasures Stamp Set! These flowers are so simple and adding the In Color Dahlias was the perfect 3-d touch to bring some WOW to the card!

TIP ALERT: I did 1st stamp the flower image with the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the correct placement…clean it THEN using the markers 1 at a time…I did the flowers 1st…CLEANED IT….then did the stems!
WHY? – guess it's the type A in me and I have figured out that if you just simply take this extra step…you will save time and paper in the long run as you will get a clean and crisp stamp! I personally have just found that I cannot get the proper coverage in doing it in 1 step! (hope this makes sense)

Adding a bit of the In Color Raspberry Ripple Ribbon broke the "solidness" of the Very Vanilla but still allowing the Very Vanilla be the focal backdrop!
The sweet sentiment….it can be YOURS with hostess credits! It comes from the Morning Meadow Stamp Set and I have showcased it many times and it is well worth the $150.00 order or class! Remember you can have a cyber gathering….how fun is that!!!! Email me and I will set you up with a hostess code and you can get cyber friends from all over to support your on line gathering!

Layering a solid on a solid is the quickest way to have a clean WOW!!! So simple…so do-able! I did use the corner rounder from the Envelope Punch Board….(love this corner rounder…no ridges!!!!)
It's envelope time! The Polka Dot Parade was the pick of the day and with the help of Mr. Big Shot and the Envelope Liner Framelits…..PRESTO!!!!

Now the best for LAST!!!! TOMORROW, Thursday the 12th you can order the Magnetic Platform! (The item # is 130658) I am sorry that Stampin' Up! has had these on back order for soooo long – I know that it has been frustrating but trust me….it is well worth the wait – but don't wait again….click here and get an order ready for tomorrow!!! You will adore it!

Friends are truly to be cherished and I feel so blessed to have friends that rally together when we are in need! Yesterday was a long day and it was so wonderful not to think about what to eat and John was thrilled not to have hospital food!!!
It's Wednesday already….have a great day, please tell your family and friends about my blog and subscribe so you do not miss a daily dose of fun and inspiration from me!
I know that there are lots of choices out there, but please know I love and appreciate being your Stampin Up! Demonstrator!
Until tomorrow!

Yesterday I shared with you a "Thank You" that I made for John….today's post is my turn! This is what I came up with to write some quick notes of thanks to family and friends that have been so much help to me!
We live in Maryland, and the Maryland State flower is the Black Eyed Susan Flower! Now I know, it is not the exact representation of the flower, but I do think it is super cute!
Now something can be super cute….but to me – it also has to be super quick and easy as we all seem to be short on time! This card to me….produces a BINGO-BANGO effect yet takes minimal time!
Here's the scoop….I hope you CASE away as I think it is a keeper! I am just lovin' the Envelope Punch Board….it makes it sooooo much fun to make odd shape cards!!!

- The finished card size is 3" X 6" in Whisper White!
- The focal floral stamp set used was Flower Shop!!!! LOVE IT! I curled the flowers with a pencil!

- The easy-brezy way to get the clean cut is from the Pansy Punch…so cute! – can you imagine "fussy-cutting" these flowers!?!?

- Adding the centers of the flowers were a simple punch the 1/2" circle punch and then a simple basic pearl was a simple yet elegant touch! Where did the dots come from?
- Simple…an overlooked item in the catalog is the Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen = White pen…and for $3.95…CLICK HERE now to order! This is a no-brainer as it adds soooo much accent and feel to your projects!

- Envelope time….I am LOVIN' this envelope punch board…the sky is truly the limit and with all of the super fun Designer Series Paper we have……I say "Hello Irene" – what are you waiting for! Today's envelope is from the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper! Soooooo classic!

- Simple can be fun and simple can be effective! It litterally took me no time to stamp….punch…to get all set up to make many of these cards! Think about how much fun it would be to change up and use 3 colors! Because of time, I simply used one color…the super new Crushed Curry!

I hope that you have been inspired today! I was tickled pink…..oops tickled crushed curry with today's card! Odd size cards are fun and with the new Envelope Punch Board, making odd envelopes are a cinch!
Have you subscribed to my blog? If not, please do so …..I blog daily to inspire you…to give you tips and tricks…to simply let you into what "I am about"….You can enter your email under the calalogs to the right of my blog….and you are good to go!!!!
I love inspiring you….I love helping you….I love being your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator…I simply love what I do!
Until tomorrow!

Sometimes it's hard to come up with cards that a man feels comfortable with sending, well at least I know my husband often will ask me for a card to send to a client and he says….."Can you try to make it not so fru-fru"
He is going to be needing some "Thank You" cards to send out so I wanted to come up with something that was clean and simple yet classic and masculine! I think I accomplished all that I set out to do!
Totally lovin' the note card size and taking advantage of it now that Stampin' Up! has the envelopes in this size in my favorite color, Crumb Cake…I knew that this was going to be the perfect backdrop for my cards I made for John.
TIP ALERT: By now you all realize that I adore paper and use lots of it with layering etc…but I should have taken a picture to show you on a card like this…I take FULL ADVANTAGE of the Night of Navy card stock to "punch out" shapes not to "waste" the paper…..actually on this one – I used the Hexagon Punch and will use them on another card!
When you are adhering something flat like I did with this navy piece….you will never see that I "punched" out shapes! I have all sorts of containers with shapes of scraps like this…they come in super handy when you need to do a quick fill in!!!
Here you go…and I have all of the exact measurements for you as I have a feeling that this will be a card I will make again and again! Remember what I blogged about on Thursday – when you have a great layout…make sure you write it down and use it again and again changing up your sentiments and stamps!
SIMPLIFY YOUR STYLE…LESS IS BEST!
(trust me…you'll have more time and you'll be happier!!!)
- The Crumb Cake is cut for a notecard size…5" X 7" – scored at 3 1/2"
- The Night of Navy is 4 3/8" X 2 7/8"
- The next layer of Crumb Cake is 4 1/8" X 2 5/8"
- The Very Vanilla is 3 3/4" X 2 1/4"
- Now to the sentiment….BINGO-BANGO! The Photopolymer stamp set, Another Thank You, is HANDS DOWN a must to purchase!

- The envelope and liner = because many of our papers have "Whisper White" in the background, I thought…nothing wrong at all with a solid color and it looks super sharp! The envelope liner framelits were the quick fix for the finale

2 TIP ALERTS to make your projects easier...
- The Stampin' Trimmer – if you do not have this….STOP EVERYTHING and click here and order one! It make life soooo easy and when you see the measurements I have given you above…this cutter goes soooo exact and it is simply the best! You will never regret it!

- Craft Scissors – I know…I know….you're having sticker shock…it's o.k., I felt the exact same way! I can remember posting something on the PALS private chat board asking if the were worth it….well….I felt like I was being bombard in a video game with replies…hands down – BUY THEM! I took the plunge and never looked back BUT….
I ONLY USE THEM FOR CUTTING RIBBON…
and they are the best…look at the side of this card…you do NOT have to tuck the ribbon underneath and it alleviates a bunch of "bulk" to your cards!

How about using a 50% off on them or better yet, get them for free with your hostess benefits! They always produces a clean cut!
Do you realize that you can have your own "cyber party" with your family and friends and are able to collect all of the benefits of a hostess! It is a great and easy thing to do….email me and I will be happy to set you up with a Hostess Code and then you can spread the word with your family and friends!
WHEW…I am glad that it is the weekend! My son is coming home this weekend to give me a hand! I am excited to see him even if it is only a brief visit!
I hope that you have enjoyed this simple and classic card!!!
Until tomorrow!

This card makes me happy as it is a true "Susan" style card…one that I like to say that it is a CAS card…
( Clean And Simple)
I hope that you look at this design and let your imagination go with how many different cards you can make using this CAS layout!
We have sooooo many wonderful sentiment stamps that are just perfect for this style of card. I always try to remember advice that my upline, Mary Fish, said….when you are on the fence of which stamp set to purchase….go with the sentiment!
I can clearly remember her saying that on a call and thought….really??? That's not how I felt…but it is true and this is one way that I have grown this past year developing my style. We always have ways to embellish a card…let the "sentiment" speak for itself! This is so true and I think this card is a great example of just that!
Stampin' Up! continues to pave the way for all of us in making beautiful cards with not only amazing stamps…but with amazing tools that are both practical and easy to use…this card shows it with the use of the Big Shot, framelits, our beautiful paper and our wonderful stamps!
Here is the scoop….enjoy and play around with this layout and come up with some great cards! Please email me pictures of your work….I always love to see it!

- The base is the good old A2 card stock in Whisper White and then a smidge smaller in Crushed Curry….love that color!!!!
- Take a piece of scrap Whisper White and stamp the THANKS image from the new stamp set, Harvest of Thanks in Night of Navy and then run it through the Big Shot using the Labels Collection Framelits…simple!

- Presto! I now adhere using a bunch of my stampin' vitamins, stampin dimensionals and mount my designer series paper….then I center my stamped image! Too cute…right?

- The envelope just was jazzed up using the same paper on the outside flap of the envelope…so simple, yet elegant!
So….I ask you – What do you think? Do you think you could do this….OF COURSE you can!!! Please feel free to email me your ideas of other great sentiments that we have or simple leave me a comment on how you like it!

Remember….a simple click here will allow you to order any of these products and the best thing is…they will be delivered right to your door!
It's summer time and we all like Ice Cream….please pop back tomorrow for a super cute Ice Cream Card…..it's a keeper!
Thanks for popping in and have a great day…Until tomorrow….

You know I like to say I love square cards because…."It's hip to be square"…but give me some ideas in what to say with a round card!!!
All I can think of is…."the wheels on the bus go round and round…." – any idea???? Well – I think that this turned out fun….it's different at least!
The Stamp Sets used were Timeless Talk and Lots of Thanks! I have posted before on both of these stamp sets and they are great "fall backs" when needing a quick card!

The "fun factor" of this card is that it is a circle! Pulling out Mr Big Shot and using the Scalloped Circle Bigz Die to create the outer fun circle was the focal aspect to this card….the rest came together with the Circle Framelits!
How did I get it to be a card….simple! I poked a hole before adding the "white bike piece" with Stampin' demensionals and simply pushed a brad to hold the (2) scalloped Basic Grey Circle together to create a swing effect!
The fun finishing touches to this card were the Brights Candy Dots! They are the best….I must admit – I realize that you can use them with brads….but I never do that – I just love the ease of placing them exactly where I want them! Super fast and easy! The little red 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon added that special yet fun touch!
Cute….isn't it? The last little bit of fun I did was to use something that we all forget about….it the the Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen! This white gem adds a perfect finishing touch and for just $3.95, it's a keeper!!!! Little dots around the scallops was the final fun touch!

I have been asked by many if I am going to convention…..sad news….no! Since I was on a family vacation last week, I simply could not take off the time from work! I know it is going to be a blast and I am anxiously awaiting facebook chat reports from the PALS!
Email me or leave me a comment and let me know how you like this! My daughter fell in love with it and wants me to do more circle cards!
Until tomorrow…..it's a Pals Paper Art Challenge!

Today’s card will certainly make you feel happy with the fun
and vibrant colors! Isn’t it amazing how using different colors can create a
total different feel!
This type of card would be a great card to use completely
different color schemes – say go with neutrals of several browns and very
vanilla…it would be stunning!
Last week I used this stamp set, Million & One, and even
though there are only (2) stamps on this set…”buy it” as it is simply
beautiful! I just love the “flow” of the typeset!

The colors I used for this card are Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky
and Strawberry Slush! The other (2) stamp sets that create the background were
from the Flower Shop and the Mixed Bunch Stamp Sets.
A super easy card to create…just make sure that you fill up
the “stamped area” very well so when you cut it into strips the “white spaces”
are minimized!

The other TIP I can give you is….when you go to put the
“panels” on the color base…start with the far left and then the far right….then
work the others in out lightly arrange them so if you need to pull them off,
you can do so easily!
After getting the “panels of fun” just right….I added a
piece of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon around the entire panel section before
adding the sentiment part! 3 simple basic pearls made a classic touch to the
swirls of the font!

A “doubly
whammy” for the envelope fun! I stamped my own liner to match the card and then
I also added a bit of bling to the front of the envelope as well!
It is always
nice to make your mailman smile!

My family just returned last night from a fabulous vacation
in the British Virgin Islands and this card I had envisioned what colors I
would be seeing while away and I thought in advance that this would be a
perfect “thank you” for my friends that invited our family for this special
trip!
It was absolutely amazing and my tank is “charged up” for a
great week ahead! As always, I am an email away and I appreciate your comments
and inspiration!
Until tomorrow…
