Happy Birthday Emma!
This card is so her…she is my friend that always is in the "know" when it comes to fashion and trends….but the best thing is – she is truly is one beautiful person! It is not only an honor but it is simply the best to call her my friend! I hope your day is filled with lots of laughter and it is as special as you are!
Now this shoe….is sooooo not me – but it sure does make into a super cute card! The stamp set , Fabulous You, is a perfect name for it and the sentiment is a "keeper" as well! I first stamped it on Whisper White with Black StazOn ( you need to use this if you are going to water color over the stamped image!) Now being that I am challenged in going out of the box, I truly feel like Picasso whenever I use the Aqua Painter! I am sooooo not artistic in any shape or form and I always wanted to do well in Art Class but it never happened!
I simply squeeze my ink pads to get some ink on the top and them and "paint away" – letting myself go into that far away place that would never be able to go to! It truly is fun and it seems like I go through phases of using this method…but in the end – I always find it to be fun and rewarding!

I ran the Old Olive Card Stock though Mr. Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Folder. I felt it gave it that "Emma" touch! Thought it still needed a little more bling, so I punch out some small flowers and centered a pearl on each one! For the front of the shoe…the perfect accent was the Perfect Plum Taffeta Ribbon tied in a knot!
ONE CUTE CARD!!!
As always, I had to POP something and I had to line my envelope! This liner is perfect for this card…it came from a retired Stampin' Up Paper! I have 3 Birthdays within this week so….you will either LOVE getting new ideas…or you will be sick of seeing Happy Birthday cards! Hope you will enjoy them and hope you enjoy my blog….please make sure that you subscribe to it so you do not miss a post! I love creating cards….but more importantly to me – I love inspiring YOU!
I just love the layers and depth of this card…have fun "painting away" as we all have an "Inner Picasso!" Onto the week of "love in the air"

Wow…wow…WOW!!!
Is this cute or what!?!?
I am sure going to please my Valentine's with these little gems! The "star" of these Valentines all start with the Fancy Favor Bigz Die. I was on the fence to purchase this as I realize it is pricy but I did get it for 50% off ( and you can to…just ask me how) but I am SOOOO glad I took the plunge as it can be used for a multitude of projects! It is a super size! Once again, Mr Big Shot is the necessary key man to make this project come to a reality! I don't know what I would do without him!!!
I had a stash of the "heart treat cups" left over – (you can have the same effect with the Circle Treat Cups) and I just love M&M's – this was the perfect fun and yummy touch to this project! Being that I am "challenged" most of the time….I thought how can I do this and really make sure my treat cup would be secure….below you will see how I cut out the heart with my Hearts a Flutter Die and then put the heart through the back of the cut out shape ( hope this makes sense) – I cut a piece of Window Sheet to a 2 3/4" square and adhered it with sticky tape to make sure that it would stay in place! VOILA'!!!

This was my "test run"…..but when you cut out your Fancy Favor Box, go ahead and put your designer paper ( I used the More Amore Designer Paper) onto your die and just make one time through the Big Shot!

Putting this all together, I totally reccomend that you use the Sticky Strip Tape to put it all together! It "by far" is our strongest adhesive and I find it to be a life saver for many projects! I do recommend the Multipurpose Liguid Glue to put the ribbon in place….you can use a minimal amount and it holds perfectly! Lately – I have found this to be my adhesive of choice – even when making cards…a little goes a long way and it is really strong!
I hope that you like this as much as I do! It was fun to make and even going be better to give away! I have loved making Valentines projects….but onto EASTER!!!! As always, I appreciate your comments and please know I am a click away. I love to help you reach your goals in being able to make a difference to your loved ones! Have a great day and even though I am very thankful for missing the snow storm….my heart goes out to those effected by the storm! Be safe!

Several days ago I saw that my upline, Mary Fish, had this super cute card that just made me smile! Unfortunately one of my dear friends had a stroke ( he's doing great) and I thought that this would be perfect card to perk him up! I changed it up a bit and was very pleased with the end results! These polka dots just bring a smile to you…love the colors!
I needed a switch from the standard card size ( guess I am getting a little bored with that size) so I decided to make this are a 5 X 5 square. This is fun because guess what…you need to make your own envelope and that is always fun!!!!
The colors that I used were Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse and Crumb Cake ( my favorite). The super fun polka dot paper came from the new Spring Catalog , called Print Poetry Paper Stack! Now this little pack is a gem….look at all of the incredible paper selections and the best part….it's just $6.95! I have found these prints to unique…fun and fresh and I just love using paper from this collection to line envelopes!

Remember…it is still Sale-A-Bration time! This is where that adorable "band-aide" came from…again – free with any $50.00 or more purchase and the set is called Patterned Occasions! It is adorable, a set of 5 stamps that are so unique! I first stamped it in Summer Starfruit – cut it out using the Oval Framelits and then on a scrap of paper I stamped it in Midnight Muse…used my old faithful paper snips….POPPED IT and done! Needed a bit more WOW so I punched a small heart out as an accent!

Making your own custom size envelope of fun and fast! The best thing is that you can pick your own color that you want and also….you can customize the size to fit YOUR creation!!! Here is a video that my upline made and you can see how easy it is! Once again, I went to the designer series paper collection to find a cute lining for my cute card!

Enjoy the day…WOOT-WOOT – the weekend is here! Tomorrow I will have a super cute Valentine 3-D treat for you….and then a fun and sassy Birthday card for my dear friend on Sunday! Please make sure that you click to subscribe to my blog so you will never miss a posting! Be safe in the East – looks like a nasty storm brewing – think it will miss us! Happy Stampin!

I was looking for something a bit different to send out as thank you notes…something that wouldn't be too frilly and something that did not use the traditional colors of Valentines! When this "in color" - Summer Starfruit, came out in June….well I thought it was the ugliest color in the world but quickly my feelings changed as it truly coordinates with such a variety of colors that creates a rich, sophisticated look and I just love the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set…clean and cute!
Very Vanilla was my base color and I ran the Summer Starfruit piece through Mr. Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder – just love the texture it brings out! I first stamped my hearts on the vanilla piece but then I thought in needed a bit of depth so I did layer it over a piece of basic grey and that did the trick…tied a piece of stitched satin ribbon and again did a knot as I am "bow challenged"!

I admit that I first made a mistake but my mistake turned out to be a pretty cool effect! ( You probably cannot see it that clear in the picture)….but I first stamped my sentiment – Sassy Salutations in Basic Grey. I did not like the way that looked so I had my fingers crossed and tried to line it up and even thought it is a bit off – I LOVE the way it looks!

As always…I used dimensionals to pop it up….and lined my envelope with a beautiful piece of grey designer paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper….these collections of paper come in all of Stampin' Ups color….truly a must have for lining and making your own decorative envelopes!
This week is flying by and I am going to show you a couple more Valentines ideas over the next couple of days! YIKES – I need to get my goodies in the mail to my college kids – Valentines is a week away from today!!!

Trust me – they will be practical, fun and super cute….all for just $20.00! You just show up with your adhesive and I will have everything all ready for you to create! by Susan Itell | Feb 6, 2013 | Masculine, Thank You, Thinking of you |

Well for those of you that know me….by nature I am not a "vintage gal" and I was honestly hesitant to get this Feeling Sentimental Stamp Set but then again…it was FREE and I thought -"What the heck…I'll give it a try!" I needed a masculine card for a dear friend and I put my thinking cap on and POOF….I actually love it!
I was first inspired by a fellow Pals demonstrator, Liz Hughes and my Upline, Mary Fish with this technique! I am SIMPLY BORING when it comes to "trying differnt techniques" but after seeing their videos I thought….what the heck – I'll try Clear Block Stampin! Not only did I like the results…it was fun – out of the box for me…and I think my card looks great….what do you think!?!?

I truly do love the Crumb Cake paper and matching envelopes….it always creates a soft and welcoming look and feel to your card!. I did ink up my clear blocks with the crumb cake ink and used Very Vanilla for my card stock! The sentiments and stamp was done in early espresso-(my favorite brown)
Two things that every single card has that I do….easy-peasy…..stampin dimensionals and lined envelopes – why? I love the POP and I love the finishing touch of class that it give to your envelope! I added the 1/4' stitched grosgrain ribbon to add a little flair and me being the "bow challenged" person I am…..well the simple knot works for me!
It is great to make a card for someone that you read the sentiment and it "speaks to you" – this is exactly what this did for me! I made this for my daughters riding trainer who always go above and beyond for myself and Hannah! The stamp set is called One in a Million and trust me – Tom is one in a million to us!

I love to get feedback from you…please let me know how you liked this card and let me know how I can help you achieve your goals! With this being the special time of Sale-A-Bration….this IS the perfect time to join the Stampin Up family and support your habit! I feel blest to be part of the PALS and the network of support, inspiration and just plain fun makes this a blast! Remember for just $99 you can pick $156.50 worth of whatever your heart desires!!! I would love to have you be a part of the fun that I am having! Remember….shopping is a click away and it will be shipped directly to your door AND becoming a Stampin Up Demonstrator is one click away and you will have ME and be a part of the super fun Stampin Pretty Pals! Until tomorrow!
