The countdown has begun and I think that I need to make a decision on what card to make to send to family and friends! Each Wednesday I have been showcasing Christmas Cards that I would send!
I have really….REALLY been wanting to use the Expression Thinlits Dies as I think they are beyond super cool!!! I truly hope that Stampin' Up! makes more of these gems!
To me, they create an INSTANT wow factor and if you simply place a piece of wax paper before running through the Big Shot….the sentiment will come out like a gem!

Here you go….let me spoil you with the scoop on the "how to's"

- The next layer is Always Artichoke ( I love this color!!!) and it is cut at 2 3/4" X 5" and I did POP it up Stampin' Dimensions…then I took the Uni-Ball Gel Pen to do the stitching and dotting around the egde! A simple yet effective touch!

- The Crumb Cake layer is 2 1/4" X 4 1/2" and then the simple and elegant "Merry" became the focal point in a snap! I used the 2 way Glue Pen to adhere it! Works great every time! – I love this adhesives for hard to get to pieces!
- The "greens" are from the Bird Bulider Punch and the simple touch of some cherry cobbler berries was a finishing touch!

CONFESSIONS OF AN HONEST STAMPER: – To the "berries" I added a dap of Dazzling Details to the centers of the berries and then after I did it – I thought that I should have used the tiny pearls! At least the glitter gives a bit of bling!

THAT IS IT! This card comes together in a SNAP!!!! I actually ran upstairs and did it in between announcing the finalist for "The Voice"

The envelope was the magic of the Envelope Liner Framelit and we are soooo lucky that Stampin' Up did their magic in creating in this great product! I feel at times I need 2 of there just in case something happens to one!!! WOW – what a lifesaver!
On Saturday I am going to have a "poll" for you to help me make my decision on my card as I need to whip them out on Sunday! I think that I have some favorites but I would love your feedback!
I cannot thank you all enough for being so supportive! I hope that you enjoyed this super simple card….I think it is super cute!

We've all been there before…having a great shopping trip with friends! Every year, I go shopping with some of the Iquana's – you have heard me post about them before…it is an incredible group of gals that share wonderful "life moments" together…and it is the BEST "energy charger and feel good" one could get!
Today's card is what I made to let them know how much fun and how much I treasure our time together! This is a super simple card, being able to use scraps and the end result is one cute card!
So…pull out some scraps and let's go shopping!!!
Here you GO!!!
There’s really no “rocket science” to this card…and when I sat down, I was looking at my scraps of Season of Style Designer Series Paper and thought…a rectangle matted with a “smidge bigger” piece of crumb cake is all that is needed!
The base is the Whisper White in the Cut & Ready Card Bases…it is soooo wonderful to pull off the shelf a piece of card stock already cut…pre-scored and ready to go! Sometimes convenience pays off…and these gems come in 6 different colors! – Click here to see the offerings!
Pulling out the Old Olive as I know it color coordinates with this paper…I cut the size a ¼” smaller and then used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder to add the dimension that makes the wow happen!!!

The shopping bags dimensions are: 1 7/8” X 1 ½” and the matting is 2” X 1 5/8”…to card cute! Making a handle was fun and you can see that I anchored it with a piece of Sticky Strip and then I took a simple piece of white tissue paper and “scrunched” it up and added it to the back of the bag!

I use 2 adhesives to adhere the bags to the card….stampin’ dimensionals and also the Mono liquid glue – I find with the bumps of the embossing, it works great to use both!

The “fronts” of the bags needed a bit of bling and the Very Merry Tags Stamp Set was perfect! With the help of the Petite Curly Label Punch and the 7/8” scallop circle punch…the fronts became FUN!

The “Oh What Fun” is from the Christmas Messages Stamp Set and then I just “free-handed” it – a cute and simple touch! This is a GREAT stamp set!

The finale – the envelope…this “stripe” is a classic Christmas look in my eyes! It always makes me feel like eating a candy cane! I adore these paper stacks…you can easily line 2 envelopes from a sheet of paper!

I hope this card reminds you of FUN with friends!
We laughed and laughed – the best medicine one could ever have! Please remember this one and it would also be fun to have for a shower card!!!!

Let’s all have a great week…..the weather is a mess but will be better as the temperatures are climbing! Be safe if you are out in this mess…my suggestion for you is to stamp away and also make some cookies – it doesn’t get better than that!
Thanks for popping in and make sure you share my blog with your family and friends! Simply hit the subsribe now button and you will get a dose of "Susan" every morning! It has been less than a year since I started blogging and I can say…
True, it's a lot of work but the end result is worth every bit as I find it a way to express myself, encourage you and…
WOW – I have cyber friends and customers from all over!!!
Until tomorrow…

It looks like we might be getting some ugly weather on the East Coast today and tomorrow so I thought I would “switch up the seasons” and bring some happy flowers your way!
Now how about this super clean and simple card!
It just makes you think of sunshine and just think about how you could change up the sentiment to make all different types of cards…birthday’s – thinking of you and like this one…thank you!
This sentiment comes from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set…and it's a blue ribbon winner in my eyes! I love all of the different fonts – a perfect set to simply say "thanks"!

I feel like I have been sharing with you so many holiday ideas but as the saying goes….’tis the season! I will have some more holiday ideas coming your way this week so please pop back daily!

Let’s get to this sunshine card!
- Pulling out the Simply Scoring Tool, I scored 3 lines to add some interest. I scores at 1 ½”, 1 6/8” and 2”. Doesn’t this give a great effect and soooo easy!
- I already knew the liner that I was going to use for this card…and that is what dictated the colors of the focal flowers! The colors I used were Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo!
- I decided to use something that I rarely use and chances are you are in the same boat! When I see the end result…I simply say why do I not use this more often? It is soooo easy and a great little die to use up scraps! It is the Floral Fusion Sizzlits and it is just $5.50!!!

- I simply attached them with the lifesavers…Mini Glue Dots! WOW – these are time-savers galore!

- To the center of the flower, I popped out a simple circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, this needs to be a “must punch set for you” WHY? - easy…little shapes ALWAYS come in handy!!!

- Next and lastly, I put a coordinating candy dot to the center, you could skip this, but I loved the look!

- Envelope time…the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper was the perfect choice for this cheery card! Remember I have shares with you before…most of the time – I pick my liner to dictate the card I will making!!!

- The Envelope Liner Framelit is the tool of the year in my opinion…please make sure that Santa brings it to you….I know you have been good!

I am hoping that this card of sunshine will jinx the weather-gods and save us from snow/freezing rain! I truly love living on a farm…BUT when we have icky weather….it is not much fun! Breaking up water troughs is not my favorite thing to do and with 5 dogs….that is 20 paws to wipe off when they come in the house!
Please pop back this week as I shared before I have lots of fun holiday goodies that you can easily whip up to continue to put smiles on your friends and loved ones!
Enjoy the day, do a quick “Click Here” to shop away and go have fun! Enjoy the day….and
Until tomorrow!!!

Tis the season! I must confess, years ago I was not a big fan of gift cards but now I am totally convinced that they are THE WAY TO GO…especially if you unsure of sizes and preferences!
As I shared with you in an earlier post last week, I prefer to make my gifts…you know I love paper crafting but I also adore cooking,needle-pointing and photography!
These are the cutest and easiest gift card holders you will ever make and they come together in a SNAP! The idea was shared with me by my friend Jeanie and when she showed me …I asked her to write the directions down and she laughed at me….cause' it is soooooo darn easy! READY!!!

- Take a piece of Card Stock and cut it into 3 1/2" strips of paper – YEP!!! – You will get 3 enclosures from 1 sheet of paper plus this is a GREAT way to use up scraps!
- Score this piece at 2" and at 6". On the 2" side, use the corner rounder ( I prefer using the Envelope Punch Board one….love it)

- Fold in your score lines and use sticky strip as show in the photo…simply fold up and press! (I also use mono glue if I am tired of cutting the sticky strip! This works great as well!!!)

- Simply cut it in half long ways (you will now have (2) pieces that are 2 1/4" X 6 1/2") and then cut it in half again (you will now have (2) pieces that are 3 1/4" X 2 1/2")
- One of these pieces will fit perfectly on the bottom piece, for the top piece you will cut it at 1 3/4" X 3 1/4" – corner round 2 of the ends!
- Take a strip of paper at 1" x 8 1/2" and wrap around the decorated hold for a belly band! I recommend using Sticky Strip or Mono glue!
- Now you can decorate it how ever you like! This is where the fun comes in…think out of the box – use your punches…use some framelits…just have FUN!

Please do not limit yourself to using these only for gift cards…these would make a great pocket to tuck a note in! Below you will see more examples of how I decorated them with not in the Holiday theme! I was very pleased with the end result and I think you will be soooo happy with how easy they are to make!
It is items like this that are perfect to have on hand! I would make some up with a variety of themes…Holiday's…Birthday…Graduation….etc!

Have fun…pace yourself and know that you can always email me if you have a question! Don't try to over think these…they truly as easy as they seem!
If you are lucky enough to have time in your craft space…please have fun! Please share with me your projects – I love to see them!
If you have not subscribed to me blog, please do so and you will get a daily dose of inspiration and fun! Remember to plan your orders…the calendar is flying by and you can click here or simply go to my shop now button!
I realize that there are soooo many incredible Stampin' Up! Demonstrators out there and I too adore and love looking at others blogs…but I thank you for your support and dedication to my blog! I pinch myself each and everyday to remind myself how fun Stampin' Up is and blessed I am to be a part of this fun – I love what I do and I love helping YOU!
Until tomorrow….

I have been telling you that Christmas is going to sneak up on us! I am in total denial that we are just 3 weeks away! It just doesn't seem possible – does anyone else feel the same?
Every Wednesday, I have been showing you a Christmas Card….(head's up….please pop pack tomorrow as it is a Pals Paper Art Challenge and I think I have a pretty special Christmas Card tomorrow as well)
I hope that you are smiling as here again is a Clean and Simple Card that just makes you want to shake it to hear the bells! Confessions of an honest stamper….I usually do not show products that have been discontinued but I found a bunch of these that Stampin Up had and I just could not resist!
Let's get to it!
- Once again, my favorite Note card and Envelopes size…3 1/2" X 5" and then I cut the exact same size again in a whisper white….hang tight – you'll understand why in a minute!. Take a ruler and find the center – 2 1/2" and draw a line down the middle!
- Pull out the Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement and use the adorable Santa Hat from the Embellished Events Stamp Set…it has been AGES since I have used this set and then after I pull it out….I said – why??? There are lots of great stamps!

- Find the center of the mat piece and stamp the 1st Santa Hat and then do the right and left! PERFECT….now take it to the trimmer and trim off ¼” off each size…now isn’t that SOOOOOO much easier than trying to find the center after you have cut it down!?!?

- Using the Paper Piercing Tool, I pierced a hole so after I threaded the “bells” on…I could pull the bakers twine through and then secure it with a teeny tiny piece of sticky strip (do not pull off the red tape)

- Next, Stampin Dimensionals all over the back and then place it on top of a Real Red Card Stock measuring 3 3/8” X 4 7/8” …guess what – you’re done!

- To the envelope – the Polka Dot Parade papers was PERFECT for this fun card…They really make me smile and be happy!

Well…How do you like today’s card?
I was pleased with the end result and it is fun to shake it to hear it jingle!
Today’s card is a perfect example of…
Less is Best!!!
Using a classic color combination of Real Red and White – how can you go wrong!?!? I am in high gear with making up lots of goodies for Shows and classes!
I think you will be vey happy with the next several posts! Please if you have not down so…like me on Face Book and also tell your family and friends about my daily blog
I truly wish that we could be together having a cup of coffee and seeing each other in person!!! We all are a very special group of people that have the same passion – please take a moment and think about that…it is really great!
Feel free to click here and shop away and remember, I am an email away! Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Until tomorrow!

It is that time of the month again, the 1st Wednesday of every month I do a “feel good” for patients that are in treatment for Breast Cancer! A group of volunteers meet at 6 p.m. and we have fun…this is a super rewarding project!
Sometimes it is hard to come up with cards…as we make sure that the cards are an uplifting theme and I think that this card will do just that!
This is a super easy card and it will go for anytime of the year! I was going to add some daffodil delight flowers but I like it just the way it is – 2 colors…clean and simple…and a project that the volunteers can easily put together!
Let’s get to the card and then I will recap all of the exciting things that are coming down Stampin’ Ups! Pike!
Remember, today is the LAST day to order from the HOLIDAY SALE…

Easy-peasy but very practical!
- I cut another piece of whisper white a ¼” smaller = 3 ¼” X 4 ¾”
- Inking up with Island Indigo, I stamped that super cute telephone from the Timeless Talk Stamp Set. The sentiment “ Hello there!” is all that is needed!

- Wanting to do a little something extra and different, I simply cut ¼” strips of Island Indigo and using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them was a cinch! (Remember to go easy with this glue = less is definitely best!!!)
TIP ALERT: When cutting thin pieces like this….I like to use the Stampin' Trimmer and the right side of the cutting area to measure small spaces…I just think that it is easier!
- Add a bunch of Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this and YOU’RE DONE!!!! Now this is what I call one fast and cute card!

- Let’s get to the envelope – very straight forward using a sweet print from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper and the Envelope Liner Framelit…(IT’S ON SALE TODAY AT 30% off – Stampin’ Ups! Cyber Monday fun!!!)

I know that this card will bring smiles to the ladies that are under-going treatment! This is such a rewarding project and I know 1st hand how important cards are to those that are going through illness.

3 years ago yesterday, I lost my wonderful Mom to a very fast and aggressive Pancreatic Cancer battle. In the less than 3 1/2 short months of a diagnosis ~ my wonderful Mom received over 400 cards from family and friends! She was the “QUEEN” of sending cards and it was the best medicine she could have been given as they truly lifted her! Getting the mail was a highlight of her day!
With this said, please do not underestimate the power of a handmade card and going to the mailbox to see a handwritten addressed note /card! It is the best and I think that it is soooo fabulous that there are so many card makers out there!
This is why I blog, I love to inspire you to show YOU that YOU can do it! Many times, we doubt our abilities to do things…I love to show YOU that YOU can…be positive and remember, you can always email me if you have specific questions!
Now to the fun happenings with Stampin’ Up! Lots to take in…you can click on the highlighted area and be inspired!
