Ok….I got you with the title…well – it's true, as I simply love this little purse! True this little gem is a bit "salty" ( but aren't most purses!!!) but the Petite Purse Bigz Die is worth every joy you will receive when you make your own little gems!

Hands down, this die has brought me more joy and WOWS than I can imagine! With the above sample I made them for a birthday party for a friend of mine…and it was it hit as place cards! Each were filled with chocolate and who does not like chocolate! I did make the name on the computer and then used Stampin' Ups Window Word and Modern Label Punch to make the name tags!

Most people think that all Stampin' Up sell are things to make cards….that is SOOOOO untrue! You will find that most of us that LOVE to do crafts can make a beautiful masterpieces out of a simple piece of paper! Well….that is me!
Mr. Big Shot is my "main man" of this show! Without him my purse would not be able to come to life! OK folks….I am telling you that YES – there is a difference from the Big Shot you can get in the store verses the "Mr. Big Shot" – my main man! My guy is guaranteed for life and also mine can be purchased at 50% off….just ask me ! The "Big Shot" is truly one tool that will amaze you with how many different things it will do….and the best thing is….it is just plain and simple FUN too play around with!

This
purse was a purse and "payment" I made for my Dog Sitter! I wrote her a
check….wrote her a note and WOW – how do you think she felt….just
the way we all like to feel…SPECIAL!

This is a super busy week for me and when I sat down to whip up a card….this little gem came together in a snap! It is using 2 different stamp sets…Friendly Phrases and the Fabulous Foliate Wheel Stamp….yes…I said Wheel Stamp but I made it into a stamp!

Making "Wheels" into stamp is a quick and economical way to utilize great stamps! Before I became a SU Demonstrator I bought a couple of "wheel stamps"…they came and I looked at them and thought "Now…what the heck do I do with this!!!!" Remember….I am very simple and very challenged when things get too fru-fru for me! Then I remember watching a video from the wonderful Mary Fish and I thought….I can do that! Check out her video – she is an amazing paper crafter and a fabulous upline!

I knew myself well enough that having a stamp would be much more useful than having it on a wheel…..(especially when I had no clue what to do with a wheel!!!!). I have since purchased just about every wheel and made them into stamps and now I use them often! The trick is to purchase the Clear-Mount Cling Foam…this is the magic ingredient to making your wheel and also wooden stamps come "portable" for you!

Isn't that not only a beautiful but such an elegant and sophisticated stamp! I just love it! An how easy could that be to stamp….cut….layer on a color card stock and POOF – you're done! Now to the sentiment….I use this stamp set all the time – just love the fresh and fun sayings! Are these fun..practical…and just the "right sentiment" for soooo many occasions!

The fun part was being able to use Mr. Big Shot….I have been ignoring him the past several days and I think he was getting a bit left out! The Labels Collection Framelits are the perfect size to frame this message – then using the next size larger…again POOF – I look like a genius and all I had to do was crank up dear Mr. Big Shot! Now do you really think I could poke those holes so perfectly even? No way, but once again, SU has a trick – called the Festive Paper Piercing Pack and the Paper Piercing Tool made me look really crafty and truthfully it is fun!!!

Now you know me by now….dimensionals and a lined envelope are a must, and the International Bazaar Paper did the trick! SU has the most BEAUTIFUL paper….just look at this pack! As always, I am a click away and I truly hope that you and your friends sign up to get my daily blog postings! Upper right corner….right under the Catalog! I love what I do and I would love to have you as part of my SU family!

As promised, I said that all of my posts this week with the exception of Thursday would all feature a "freebie" from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog! Stampin' Up is in full swing with this super party and not only is it a great time to earn free product, it truly is a no brainer to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator as you can pick $156.50 worth of ANY product you want for $99.00! It is as simple as that! No strings attached….you can join today…stop tomorrow! Stampin; Up truly does let you run your business "Your Way"!
Today's adorable card was inspired by super talented SU Demonstrator, Brandi Cox. I was "surfing around" and saw this and thought – this would be a perfect card to make and send to my Dad as he is a coffee junkie!!! At first glance it looks a bit difficult but always remember, if I can do it…anyone can do it – remember…I am the challenged stamper! I watched how she did it and then changed it up a bit!

Naturally the Patterned Occasion Stamp Set from SAB was the perfect stamp for this fun coffee card! We all know how much I love Crumb Cake so that was a no brainer and I just went to my designer series paper to see what hit me and BAM – the Comfort Cafe Paper screamed CUT ME!!! The rest is history as I took SU's advice on what colors coordinate with the Comfort Cafe!

Using the Early Espresso…..as it is my favorite brown, I ran it through Mr. Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder ~ love the depth it gives!!! One tip……adhesives are hard to use to get a "good stick" after you use an embossing folder, but I have found the best is to use the multipurpose glue, not only is it a great value ($3.95) but it is super strong!!!
I will say – I did use a ton of my Stampin vitamins….( no not M&M's)…..Stampin' Dimensionals! I really wanted this card to stick out! Just love those sticky pop-able gems! Then what can I say…the liner on the envelope did make this one special card!
Please feel free to email me if you would like me to send you more tricks and dimensions in how to make this card! My next venture is going to be doing videos ( no idea when) but this card truly was so much fun to make that I had it down within 10 minutes…..I just love things that look challenging and come to find out that they aren't! If I can do it YOU can do it…..I would love to help you find your inner paper crafter!!!! Until tomorrow….

Now this is my kinda' card…
clean + simple =
one great card!
I love everything about it…it is super fast and can be used for a variety of different occasions with just a quick change of the sentiment! I am ready to be over with winter and this morning when I sat down to create some entries for the week – I said…I want FUN colors…a FUN and duplicate layout that is classic and I think I hit it "right on"!
This adorable and very versatile flower is from the "Blooming Marvelous" Stamp set that is only available to you for FREE during Sale-A-Bration! This week ( with the exception on Thursday) I will be doing all of my posts with using Sale-A-Bration items…cause' you've got to get them while they are here and that is only until March 22nd!
Blooming Marvelous Stamp Set

Because this card is super easy and straight forward, I thought I would share with you a couple of tips that I did! Usually when ever I make cards, I make 6 of them at once! Why?…1st cause' I usually like what I have created and also I do sell them (please feel free to contact me personally if you are interested in seeing my "stash" and purchasing for that time you just need something special)! When I went to stamp my flowers for this card I put a teeny tiny piece of adhesive on the back of each piece and put them on a piece of copy paper….why? It allows my to "stamp off" the page…it allows me to keep my card stock from sliding and I am going to mount it on another piece of card stock so having the dab of adhesive to this is no biggie!

I had to add a little touch of ribbon and I just love this stitched satin ribbon! As always…POP goes my card and a yummy liner – straight from the Print Poetry Designer paper, a MUST HAVE in the Spring catalog!!!!Bam-Bam-Bam…DONE!
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to do a one-on-one session together! I know that sometimes it is hard to get together on dates that are set for classes and sometimes you like to get together and be able to feel free to ask…explore and take is all in with the fun of paper-crafting…the ideas are endless…the rewards of your accomplishments are the best feeling in the world! Here's to a creative week!

Well for those of you that know me….by nature I am not a "vintage gal" and I was honestly hesitant to get this Feeling Sentimental Stamp Set but then again…it was FREE and I thought -"What the heck…I'll give it a try!" I needed a masculine card for a dear friend and I put my thinking cap on and POOF….I actually love it!
I was first inspired by a fellow Pals demonstrator, Liz Hughes and my Upline, Mary Fish with this technique! I am SIMPLY BORING when it comes to "trying differnt techniques" but after seeing their videos I thought….what the heck – I'll try Clear Block Stampin! Not only did I like the results…it was fun – out of the box for me…and I think my card looks great….what do you think!?!?

I truly do love the Crumb Cake paper and matching envelopes….it always creates a soft and welcoming look and feel to your card!. I did ink up my clear blocks with the crumb cake ink and used Very Vanilla for my card stock! The sentiments and stamp was done in early espresso-(my favorite brown)
Two things that every single card has that I do….easy-peasy…..stampin dimensionals and lined envelopes – why? I love the POP and I love the finishing touch of class that it give to your envelope! I added the 1/4' stitched grosgrain ribbon to add a little flair and me being the "bow challenged" person I am…..well the simple knot works for me!
It is great to make a card for someone that you read the sentiment and it "speaks to you" – this is exactly what this did for me! I made this for my daughters riding trainer who always go above and beyond for myself and Hannah! The stamp set is called One in a Million and trust me – Tom is one in a million to us!

I love to get feedback from you…please let me know how you liked this card and let me know how I can help you achieve your goals! With this being the special time of Sale-A-Bration….this IS the perfect time to join the Stampin Up family and support your habit! I feel blest to be part of the PALS and the network of support, inspiration and just plain fun makes this a blast! Remember for just $99 you can pick $156.50 worth of whatever your heart desires!!! I would love to have you be a part of the fun that I am having! Remember….shopping is a click away and it will be shipped directly to your door AND becoming a Stampin Up Demonstrator is one click away and you will have ME and be a part of the super fun Stampin Pretty Pals! Until tomorrow!
