Welcome to the November Pals Blog Hop, we are "thankful" you stopped by. This month we are showcasing projects that show our thanks, including both thank you and Thanksgiving themed projects.
This is my favorite day of the month in being a PAL as this is when so many come together and share their love and creativity with all of us! I hope that you have fun hopping along and will be super inspired!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Stop #4 – Beth McCullough at Stampin Mom on the Pals Hop.
If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing projects. WOWZERS, there are 33 of us this month so get that pot of coffee on!
I am over the moon happy to share with you these adorable boxes/favors with you today! Not only are they super easy to whip together in no time….they are super affordable! A huge woot-woot all the way around! (Pop back tomorrow and I will showcase these boxes in a totally different way)

Here is the "low down" – it is super short as it is super easy and I know that you have a bunch more stops to make so let's get going!
- The Color Me Autumn Designer Series paper was the choice for the day as I was color coordinating for my dinner table and thought these colors would be perfect! I simply cut (5) 1 3/4" squares and adhered them to the boxes using my favorite "green glue" I used the 3/4" circle punch as shown in the below picture to give it that finished touch it deserves.

- The sentiment came from the And Many More Stamp Set, and if you do not have this gem…then I first ask you – "why not???" and then I say…hit that shop now button and get this gem!

Here is a close up of the simple knot that I did….If you follow my blog (and I hope you do) – you already know that I am bow challenged so this is about all you get….it works for me!

What am I going to fill them with?!?!? Well…I know of favorites of each of my "peeps" and my wonderful Dad! I will fill them with some love from me with a special treat and also a little "love note" folded up for them to read whenever to let them know how thankful I am for them!
Get going…YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF HOPPING TO DO…..put those sneakers on and have fun! I know that tomorrow you are going to smile with another post I am doing with these boxes!

This is one of my favorite projects to do! I do hope that this post inspires you as much as it does me! I do some craft events and also I have customers that want a "little something" to give at the holidays and this is just a super sweet and fun 3-D fun to make!
I have blogged about this before and I am going to ask you to click here and then here to see the posts that I have done before as I have all of the dimensions but please email me and feel free to ask away any questions you have!
I know with all of the pictures that I have on the previous post, that you will go to town making these! I love the fact that you can use minimal paper and these are SUPER EASY to mass produce!
Remember what I have blogged about before, break a project down and take it into steps…this way you will not be overwhelmed! One step…cut all of your top notes…another time, have fun stamping or decorating the top etc…
I have lots of pictures for you today and I am super happy with this! You can see that I did not list the individuals Blendabilities as I really used a bunch! Click here to see all of the pens offered!

Here is my thoughts about these great pens…if you can swing it, buy them all! I know that this is a BIG statement to say but they really are a great product and one that you will use all of the colors offered….as they blend well and the - "no streaks" is just a dream! True there is a learning curve, but once you get past that turn….you are in for home stretch!
When I saw this single stamp in the catalog, I knew that it would live at my home! How do you not have a soft spot for Polar Bears and it is called "Bearing Gifts" I just knew that this would fill up the top note die perfectly!

Please refer to the links that I have from the past…but here are a couple of photos that will reinforce the "ins and outs" of this easy but fun project!

To me…using the labels are the "Trump Card".…but it you would rather cut your paper and wrap it around….I say – GO FOR IT….but this works for me! These labels wrap around perfectly! LOVE IT!

That is it! Are you going to try to make this fun project! WOWZERS….it uses minimal paper and delivers such a BIG punch! Please let me know your thoughts about this!
Remember, it is Tuesday so that means a new group of products on sale for just a short week – click here to see this weeks offerings….and you can hit the pictures below and shop from home!

I appreciate you all and I deeply thank you for your time! I blog daily so please tell your family and friends about my daily dose of inspiration! Tomorrow is a GREAT day as it is the monthly PALS Blog Hop….please hop on by!
Until tomorrow!
by Susan Itell | Nov 10, 2014 | Embossing Folders, Make it MINE Monday, Super Easy |

I'm melting…..these dear little snowmen are just too darn tootin cute! Where do they come from???…they are on the bottom of a sheet pf DSP from the Santa & Co. collection and you can make 6 of these cards as you get (2) sheets of paper with them on it!

These little guys are the focal part for the Make it Mine personal Challenge for today! Please give the below sketch a try…I adore seeing what you come up with!

To be totally honest with you….the inspiration to use this DSP as the focal part came from me not putting away the product that I used for yesterday's card! Click here to see this one and you can see that I used the "stars" for the envelope liner as I did it today as well….if it works – why not!?!?

- The card is an A-2 card in Whisper White and then the "focal" Snowmen were cut at 4 1/8" X 2 1/8" and then matted at 2 1/4" X 4 1/2" in Basic Black.
- I cut the circles with the Circle Framelits in the #6 & #7 templates and then ran them thru the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.

- Again, the Endless Wishes Stamp Set was still on my work space so "out it came" and the quick and easy stamping made this card come to a close….so fast….so easy!
- I line the outside of the envelope just like I did yesterday as I cut the !2 X 12 paper in half si it was an instant WIN-WIN for me…I say – woot-woot!

I must say, I feel a bit guilty that it is as easy as this but it truly is and it is a super cute card! There is no doubt that someone would smile if they received this fun card!
Please give this a try….the sketch if fun and WIDE OPEN for lots of options…I cannot wait to see what you come up with! Please email me your Picasso's, I just adore and smile every-time!
Pop back tomorrow as I will show you what to do with Hershey Nuggets and this stamp set, Endless Wishes! Thanks for your time, please share my blog and passion with your family and friends and until tomorrow!
by Susan Itell | Nov 9, 2014 | Christmas, Super Easy, Tips and Tricks!!! |

Now this is as simple as it gets and I am going to share with you a template "how to" so you can go back and make this over and over! This is a fabulous layout to make not only "quantities of" but also a great layout for small stamp images!
This image is from the Endless Wishes Stamp Set and I am so glad that Stampin' Up!! brought this back this year. I love the font, but I also love the fact that you can use it for chocolates….hmmmmm……pop back on Tuesday and you will see what I am talking about!

Let's get going as this is one that you will want to CASE and keep the handy template handy! It all starts with the Note-Card Whisper White Card & Envelopes (I just love this size) and I highly suggest that you make a template so you can "pencil line" the squares!

Let's make the template! Below you will see that I made it in a wisteria wonder so I could find it easier in my work area…so easy – lets go!
- Start with a piece of paper that is the same size as the Note Card = 5" X 3 1/2"
- Find the center and make a pencil line = 2 1/2" line
- Take the 1" Square Punch and make the center your 1st punch using the pencil line as your giude. Slide the punch all the way in to meet the edge of the paper.
- Punch the sides lining up the outer edge of the punch to the side of the paper, this way your punches will be even!
- Now take the template pack to your cutter and trim off a smidge – 1/8" off of each side so your end result will be a template of PRESTO…DONE!!! – now you have a template that is 4 3/4" X 3 1/4"
Hopefully these below pictures will help you! Please email me of you have any questions, I know that sometimes it is hard to put it into words but once you try it – I hope it makes sense!

Now that your template is completed, I simply place it over the front of my note card and take a pencil and quickly make my pencil squares so when I go to do my stampin', it will be perfect!
Stamp away and then simply erase your pencil lines before putting the top piece on! Make sure that you use a bunch of Stampin' Dimensionals on this top piece – (it is a great card to use those outer edges of the dimensionals as they are the long and skinny pieces!!!)

You might be thinking, Why do I need to make a template if I still have to punch the top part? Well, I find having a template makes if easy to just get right to the stampin part and also if you have a random pencil lines on the edges, it no biggie!
You also might want to make the top piece a different color and wouldn't it be fun to run it through the Big Shot with a simple embossing folder? Hmmmm…..sounds like a possibility!

I knew that I wanted to keep this a super simple card for you, but I also knew that adding a very simple touch of thin stripes of paper would be all that is needed!
In the picture above you can see that I used the silicone mat…they are a must have and while you are at it – get 2….as I find that if one has glue on it, I go to the other one especially if I am making a bunch of cards!
Why do I love this mat = I use the green glue for these strips and this makes it super easy for straight placement…I always make the strips longer than I need to make it easy on myself. You can pick them right up from the mat and then snip them off!

FUN and DONE….one great card that is timeless and will never let you down! Just look at your stamps sets that you have and start doing the happy dance when you see one that has small images…..

Lastly, the fabulous envelope! I did stamp the front with the sentiment and snowflakes (which was so easy because of the stamps being photoploymer) and then I lined the outer flap with the fun paper from the Santa & Company….so quick and easy!
I hope that these tips and tricks that I shared with you made not only sense…but also inspired you to go to your work area and make a template! You can easily use the same formula for using a regular A-2 card.
I realize that your time is precious and I thank you for popping in! Please feel free to email me if I can be of help and also remember that you can shop away from home in your jammies for these products that I have used today!
Tomorrow is make it mine Monday….hope to see you back!

p.s. – guess what I am doing today? I wish that we could all be together for this fun……I am going to Jeanie's house as her 2 sisters are here from Massachusetts and we are going to be 4 stampin…crazy….fun ladies!
Sounds like a dream day…..right!?!?! – I hope that there is a football game on for her poor husband to watch as there is going to be a bunch of laughter and creativity happening!
by Susan Itell | Nov 8, 2014 | 3-D Projects |

Happy Saturday and actually this is a super easy card that could easily be called a Simple Saturday Card! You might be hoping over from Mary Fish's blog and if you are ….welcome and this was a "not planned" blog post with Mary and I…..but as we all know sometimes spontaneity just works!
If you follow my blog, on Thursday I did a post very similar to this one but a "masculine" version…click here to see this card! Well….today – this card is one that I sent to Mary along with the box and she asked if she could share….well of course – I am flattered!

This card comes together in a SNAP with the help of the 1" punch and then the sentiment was heat embossed with Blushing Bride with the classic touch of "pearls" here & there! Remember, little accents like tis can really "perk" up a card!

I just had to send Mary some "goodies" from me….and I hope that they tasted good going across the country! I adore all of the packing that Stampn' Up! has come out with – click here to see all of the offerings!
This box is great and holds a "sweet spot" to me as it is the perfect brownie box! I decorated it with a sponge dauber and the Whisper White Craft Ink…so fast…so easy….but please let it dry well after you "dot" it up!

The sky is truly the limit when decorating our boxes and bags! The best tip I can give you ….is "just have fun" This box is the "take out box" that is in the Holiday Catalog!
I follow my Mom's lead…she would say "There is nothing more special than a beautiful package" – I can remember that when I would give her something she would just like to look at the box and "fru-fru" and say, It's just too pretty to open!

The sentiment POPPED up for the fun to happen! This is from the (appropriately called) Oh My Goodies and it is just one of those great sets to have – the sentiments are super fun and it is great that you can use our Deco Label Framlits and POOF!!!

Because I was trying to pull the packaging together with the color I used in the card…I stamped this in 2 colors, the Strawberry Slush and then the Blushing Bride. Our Extra-Large Oval Punch is perfect to POP out the sentiment and then POP it up with Stampin Dimensionals!

We are so lucky to have soooo many options to have "paper crafting fun" I encourage you to have fun and be creative with doing simple projects! This was pulled together in no time and I think it delivers a fun statement!
Do you remember on Monday that I did the fun Birthday Card for a special young lady that is turning 17? Well, here is her box that I took to her with her card, click here to see the card and then you will see how they are "pulled together"!

Well…..that's it! Fast …fun and makes a statement! You know that I adore "odd" size cards and you can clearly see with this square card that it is "totally hip to be square"
I hope that this post shows you how a simple thing like "brownies" can be jazzed up in a jif to create a special package! Stampin' Up! has it all…the stamps, the boxes, the ribbon – just have fun!

I have been very busy with the November Stamp of the Month Club…. only have (4) spots left- Please click here and here to see the post. True these are a labor of love but I adore that you are starting and completing a project…and having FUN while learning techniques!
You guys are the best and Mary is the best! Enjoy your weekend and remember….
Simple works….Simple is classic…and Simple never let's you down!
Until tomorrow!
