I am doing the "happy dance"....it was over 50 degrees yesterday = WOOT-WOOT…could it be…would it be that SPRING is around the corner? The blankets came off of the horses, the dogs stayed outside most of the day and Daisy found a big puddle to be a PIG in!
Today is the day that you can win a pack of Stampin' Dimensional from me by doing nothing more than Stampin' and having fun creating! All you have to do is email me a picture of your masterpiece and I will randomly pick a winner….easy right!
Today is about creating a 3-D project…NOW WAIT – DO NOT CLICK me off and say, I cannot do that….OH YES YOU CAN….it can be any thing that is not a card!
I just HAD TO pull out this kit that is on the WEEKLY DEALS just through tonight and it is the keepers of all keepers! I think that it is just too darn adorable! After putting this together, I said to myself – WHY AND HOW did I ever let this slip by me!

I need to tell you what I am doing this week and I am using these goodies for the table settings for my friends! One thing that I love to do is cook! I have a friend that came up with a great idea and invited me to join in!
We are going to cook our way through the cookbooks that are on the shelves at our homes! Each month, the hostess will pick a specific cookbook and then each of us cook a dish out of the cookbook to see how we like it! FUN…right!?!?

I propped these up on out kitchen table and look how cute! These would be a great product to have …"just in case" you are in a squeeze for a gift….these would be great to give to someone for a birthday treat filled with chocolates (that's what I am doing) – I just think that they are adorable!

Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving us these weekly deals, remember that this is just good through tonight but in case you miss it, really no biggie as they are super affordable!
I have not blogged about the animals lately so I just had to share some cute pictures below! Eddie is our "Senior Citizen" of the house now and he holds a special place on my heart… I have always wanted a Jack Russell and we rescued Eddie 12 years ago and he is simple the best!

This little guy LOVE life to the fullest and is always active with his best friend…a tennis ball and his "toys" out of the 5 dogs we have – Eddie is the king "toy" dog!

And then there is our "Red Caboose"….Rosie! She is an amazing little dog that has fit in like a charm!

Get ready for another fun week of posts filled with inspirations to the max and the highlight – A blog hop on Wednesday! I know that you are going to love the hop and then on Thursday I will give you step by step instructions as I know that you are going to love it!
Please click here to shop away and take advantage of this great weekly deal, thanks for popping by and please feel free to email me or leave me a comment….
Until tomorrow!

Happy “Step it up Sunday” For those of you that are new to my blog…welcome and I hope that you subscribe to my blog as I do blog daily (unless I decide to fall and break a bone) – just add your address on the right and you should be good to go! I have been trying to grow my Stampin' fun so please share my fun with your family and friends!
For the past month I have been doing a (2) day posting of the Saturday being a simple card (that's the style that makes me roll) and then on Sunday I show you the same card just "stepped up" a bit to give you an idea how a couple of tweeks here and there depending if you have the time can make a change to an already cute card!
Please click here to see yesterday's post…I adored the comments and I think that I am calling the cute little bunny "Sally" and if I were no so bow challenged, I should have attempted to put a bow on her!
Here are the 2 cards side by side….I think that they are both super cute and I would be proud to send either one out! Do you have a favorite? Please feel free to leave me a comment….I adore reading them! (click on the picture to make it larger so you can read it easier!)

Please refer back to yesterday's post for details as today I am going to shower you with super cute pictures and touch on the changes that I made.
You can see that the fringe scissors added a great touch. These are very inexpensive for a pair of fun scissors and true you might not use them a ton….but when you want to do something different – they are a keeper! I also like making confetti with them!

Hopefully the above picture will be helpful to you with the comments! Here you can see the angle of how I scored the DSP to create a bit of 3-D for the fence. I did carefully adhere it with green glue, just be patient letting it set up.
One thing that I did and I did not write in the comments…..after I adhered both sides of the "fence", I slid a couple of stampin' dimensionals to keep it from squishing (hope that this made sense) - See in the below picture.

Here is a good shot of the bow….adding just a touch of linen thread did the trick in my opinion to this simple bow of white bakers twine! A quick glue dot to the rescue was all that is needed!
Well…there you go my friends! I hope that you have enjoyed these 2 cards and I hope that I have inspired you! All of the products are below and remember for every order in increments of $50.00, you get to pick a freebie!
I hope that you pop back tomorrow for my Monday personal challenge…you could win a pack of Stampin' Dimensionals…you're going to love what I am blogging about – FAST – FUN – PRACTICAL – and oh so much fun to put together!

Hippity-Hoppity…it's Saturday and that means it's another week to show you a CAS (Clean And Simple) card that takes minutes to make and then pop back tomorrow to see the same card…just "stepped" up a bit!
Todays card is a Note Card Size on Crumb Cake – to me, these are a fabulous bang for your buck as you will receive 20 cards and matching envelopes for just $5.95. They also come in white this way and trust me, my shelf is never empty of these – they truly are my quick and easy go to!

Do you remember that I could not go to Leadership? Well…Stampin' Up! was WONDERFUL to share the event Live Stream and you betcha that I was behind my computer the whole time being the biggest sponge I could be.
I was clicking away with my I Phone when I saw cards demonstrated that I knew were "keepers and just plain adorable" – this is one that flashed across the computer screen and I knew that I would be attempting to make it!

Doesn't these little critters make you smile, appropriately called Cheerful Critters. I have had so much fun creating projects with them (I still have some more up my sleeve next week so please pop back) The thing that I like about them is the fact that they are not limited to Easter…remember, I used them at Valentines…I also did a "way to go" card….this is one great stamp set for both the "young" and "mature"!

Do you remember what was before Blendabilities? Good old water-coloring! I did a card earlier this week with water-coloring and I had to laugh….there were comments all over the place with likes and dislikes of doing this method!
I personally find it to bring out an "Inner Picasso" that is in me as I am about the worst in Art. (I think that this is another reason that I love Stampin' Up!)
I can remember in school that I dreaded going to art class as my "people" always looked "stick people", my "buildings" were "boxes"…and "landscapes"…were "a line of green and a line of blue" = grass and sky!

The must have tools for water-coloring are the watercolor paper and the Aqua Painters!
Next thing you need is patience and practice! I find that when I 1st started to water color that my brush was not "wet" enough and what happened was lines all over the place and I thought one of my sons pre-school students did it – then once I became brave and really, really had the tip of the brush wet…I liked the results! (I like to squeeze the ink pad to get a bit on the top)
I am still not the best but I am always happy with working with this method. I hope that you give it a try and also feel free to email me if you need help!

Let's touch on this paper…this is something that I was not a fan of when the catalog came out but once I was making my paper swatches (and YES, I will do that again with the new catalog in June) I really, really liked it – actually I think it is a fantastic pack.
I think what POPPED out to my eyes when I saw it in the catalog was the papers that looks like pictures….that is just not my style but the flip sides are incredible papers! Lots of luscious plaids and handsome papers.

Last but not least – a bot of simple bling….a sweet little heart with a bakers twine bow added a sweet touch to this gem of a card! A quick liner from the Subtles DSP Collection was the icing on the cake!

OOPS….I forgot to mention about the sentiment! Silly Susan! It is from the fabulous set, And Many More and you know how I feel about sentiment sets…..they are always a KEEPER. I love them as they always "fit the bill" for a quick "filler" like I used it today!

Speaking about KEEPERS, my Stamp of the Month Kit for March is a keeper…in my opinion, it is a FABULOUS Sentiment set and the cards that I came up with are right up my alley….clean, classic, duplicable and FUN! You will make 8 cards plus get the 4 samples from me! Please do not wait to sign up as it is almost full!
As the saying goes…that's all folks! Sorry for the long post, tomorrow's will not be as long as it will be the same but "stepped up" just a bit! (I think you will smile)Please feel free to email me if you need anything!
We only have about 3 weeks left for Sale-a-bration…now is the perfect time to stock up on basics, get some goodies from the Occasions Catalog…remember, for every $50,00 you spend…you can pick a FREEBIE! YIPPEE!
Thanks for your Saturday morning with me – hopefully you enjoyed this post and it will put you in the mood for Spring! Below you can see all of the goodies I used for this sweet card!

Good morning! WOWZERS…this weather is C R A Z Y! We had a foot of snow yesterday! It was beautiful but is was unnecessary in my opinion! Being that I cannot go out and "make a difference" with shoveling, I had the pleasure of stampin'! (darn, somebody has to do it!)
For you Mom's out there…do you remember on "snow days" the revolving door of kids needing dry clothes…needing something to eat….needing a Kleenex…..needing to beg you to come out and build a snowman (well, I did do that) but I must say – I am NOT a fan of the snow…simply do not "get it"
Now that 1/2 of my life is over….what do I now deal with the snow…well…. 5 dogs = 20 paws….1 pig = 4 hoofs….and having this much snow in one day when John was at work….my little "low riders" had a tough time going outside! (They are SUPER happy that John made them a path and they are LOVIN' the snow)

Ok. ok…..enough about my life – you want to know WHAT THE HECK is this card about!?!?! Well, in person it is quite beautiful and YEP – it is big…but this is what the challenge called for! Today's card is for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
Here is the challenge….an elongated 4" x 9-1/4" Card! You know that I LOVE odd size cards so I was super excited!

I followed the guideline, just as Cindy asked for and had fun! I hope that this inspires you to think outside of that A-2 box and try an odd size card…they are not only FUN….but they are super special!

I adore the use of the embossing folders, (YEP, Jeanie is always right – she says that these little gems bring an instant WOW to a card)….super fun and adhering them together before I brought them to the card made it super easy!
Between the "Happy" die cut and POPPING up the flower part made this card a fun…fun project – I call this an "office card" (for lots of people to sign) or an "I really like you card" (with some cookies or soup) as the odd size fits both to a tee!

Did you notice that I used washi tape across the bottom…this is something that I rarely do (as I forget about it) and I liked the effect!
I had fun…and that's what matters! Please pop back tomorrow as I have another great (2) day post ready for you! I think you will smile….no, I know you will smile!

Please feel free to email me and the goodies I used for today are below….shopping in your jammies is FUN! Be safe if you are still affected by the snow! Next week looks like a big meltdown but that means we are closer to Spring!!! YIPPEE!!
Enjoy the day, be safe and until tomorrow.

Good old Thursday…that means that it is time for a challenge! Today is a color challenge and the minute I saw what it was….ding-ding – the light-bulb went off! I am not Irish but I sure do have friends that love to celebrate this holiday (but boy and….yum – I love Corn Beef and Cabbage)
How about playing…you have nothing to lose want the best thing that you will gain is the fun you will have making a work of art and then seeing it on the Pals Paper Art Website. Please pop over and see what the other super talented design artist came up with!

Here is the palette that we are working with today!

Now you all know that I very, very rarely do anything with MDS as being the computer challenged person I am…I get scared when I go and play with MDS (which is stilly as I cannot hurt the program) but I knew that I wanted to do something for St. Paddy's Day and BAM….there is a great download!

If you have not tried MDS…I say – GO FOR IT -give it a try. You can download a 30 day trial for free and play around and then if you want to purchase any extras – they are super inexpensive. This download is called "Go Green" and it was .95!!! That's right – not even a dollar!
Many do not realize that there is a separate website, My Digital Studio and I suggest you go there and do some surfing around! You will be amazed at how many of your favorite stamp sets are in MDS.

I am determined to do a digital album. I have a super talented downline that does amazing books for her grandchildren, just priceless. This is just a fun place to surf around and PLAY!
Today I decided to do another shaker card. I have blogged these before and I do hope that you try to make one. A great tip I can give to you is that I adhere a couple of the "shake pieces" to the card, therefore when you pieces are down you still see an interesting backdrop!

The gold foil sheets were perfect for this challenge, I used the 3/4" circle punch to adhere over top of the "dots" in the embossing folder – just one plain FUN card! How do you like my shamrock? I just did a quick surgery on a punch from the pansy punch and then the bakers twine pulled it all together!
I hope that you have enjoyed these pictures, I hope that I have inspired you to try a shaker card, I hope that I inspired you to go to the My Digital Studio and check it out! I think that you will be amazed at how many downloads there are.

I have made cards from MDS and had them printed from Stampin' Up! and they were amazing. I just need to go into the trenches and use it for my endless amount of photos! (Does this sound familiar to you?)
We are all in this together…please email me if I can help you and remember, the scrolling goodies that I have used in this card is right below….click and have fun shopping!
Stampin' hugs! Until tomorrow…..
