Have you ever received a unexpected surprise that made you say…"That was great"! Well, this is what I felt when I walked in the door Sunday night…my Paper Pumpkin was here!
Click here to see the super cute and short video showcasing this months kit and then below you will see my kit put together with some tips!
Before I go on…..PLEASE remember to use this hostess code (K3VX2TKD) if you are placing an order. This hostess code is good through May 31st and please do not worry if you ordered and forgot the code – "I've got your back" – I called Stampin' Up! and made sure that it was placed on….this way – one lucky person will win the hostess credit!!! Here it is – K3VX2TKD
I usually do not blog about paper Pumpkin….and I do not know why….but after my long drive home I saw the famous box on the kitchen counter and I could not resist….out came the scissors and I just needed to dive into it and I am glad that I did!
I am the very 1st to realize that many of you are skeptical of signing up for Paper Pumpkin…and "I get it" but it is an opportunity for you to get a taste of "me time" with a fun box delivered to your door! If you click here, you will see a great group of ideas that others have created with their Paper Pumpkin Kits on Pinterest!
Right now you can sign up for Paper Pumpkin and save 50% off for you first 2 months…

There are a couple of things/perks that I love about the Paper Pumpkin program…
- It is a fabulous price point to see if it is something that you will enjoy, it is regularly $19.95 per month but for NEW Paper Pumpkin customers, their first 2 months will be 50% off
- You can stop at anytime if you find that it is not for you.
- If you are a Paper Pumpkin customer, you will be able to have the opportunity to purchase past kits and/or refills if they are available!
For example, I ADORE the December 2014 kit….All Shook Up Kit – this kit was all about shaker cards and it is one fabulous set….if you are a Paper Pumpkin Customer, you will be able to go back and order past kits (if they are available – and this is right now) and if you already have the kit, you can order refills (like this one for just $7.95) – WOWZERS…that is 9 cards that you can make!
- If you want to suspend your subscription a month….no worries – just contact Paper Pumpkin and request to be skipped a month, sooo easy!
- These make great gifts as you can purchase a subscription for someone…what a great gift!
- Because everything is on one cute little box, these make a great "me time" for you and some friends = a great way to have fun and be able to create!
Let's get to May's Kit…you can see that this is a super cute one and if it is offered as a refill, YOU BET that I will take advantage of ordering more. I think that this is just one adorable kit !
I thought that I would show you all of the stamps that came in the kit…are these great or what! So darn practical and I am over the moon with the balloon stamp as it is really (2) stamps, the balloon and then the string. I know that it is so simple to draw a string…but you bet that I will use this for "string" for other cards (like yesterdays card it would be adorable to have the Bear hold some balloons and mask off the flower etc…

Below is a card made up right from the directions in the kit and then the next one you can see that I stepped it up a very little bit by adding Daffodil Delight Paper behind the band and sentiment. A super fast touch!

Here you can see them side by side and you simply could not go wrong with either one! This is a super cute card and don;t you love the sentiment with the fun squiggles…
You will get (6) of these cards in the kit.

Let's talk FUN….let's talk about these super cute gift bags! You will get (4) of these. I did the same thing as above. The first picture is made right from the directions and then the next one is stepped up ever so slightly.

Side by Side you can see that they are both super fun. (the paper is super heavy – making it a very sturdy bag). I stamped on the balloons with the stamp that is in my "go to" stamp Set, Petal Potpourri.
The kit comes with yellow tissue and the (2) balloons are cut out of the bag…I just took a piece of daffodil delight paper and stamped it and then adhered it to the bag from the inside.
I think I am going to use one of the balloons as a stencil to make more balloons in other paper. I love the size and shape of the Coral Balloon.

Well…there you go in a nutshell….scoop on the Paper Pumpkin program. You can see that you have nothing to loose and with it being 50% off for your first (2) months….I say – GO FOR IT and try it, if you do not care for it…no biggie whatsoever.
Remember, once you sign up, you can go back and order past kits/refills if they are available. (This is only a perk for Paper Pumpkin customers so you can see it is worth it)
Have questions…please feel free to email me or leave a comment and I will be happy to answer them for you. Stampin' Up! wants this to be easy for you and so do I. Remember to put SAVE50 in the promo code when you sign up for Paper Pumpkin! CLICK HERE and get started…you will not regret it!
We cannot forget the weekly deals – click here for the deals this week – a great opportunity for you to get goodies for 25% off! WOOT-WOOT!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for May where we are preparing for the retirement of some Stampin' Up! products. Though it may be goodbye to some very loved supplies, it will make room for the much anticipated new catalog products. We hope you enjoy the Pals' creative projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Amy Hoptay at Inking of You, #19 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Saying good-bye is hard…and we all know that we have favorites that will always be shining stars in our eyes and today I showcasing an all time favorite of mine, the Top Note Die.
You can see that I am sharing with you (2) totally different ways of using this versatile die…and if you follow my blog, you have seen me post about these many times.
For the purse you can click here to see the full scoop of ins and outs in how to make this and it is really so much easier than the instructions look like. Please know that you can always email me and I will be happy to help you make this gem!

Some of my all time favorites are in this purse…strawberry slush, back to black DSP, sticky strip, thick bakers twine and of course, the top note die.

I tried something different and used the thick bakers twine to make the fringe…I just thought this cute bag needed a bit of fru-fru to make it super special.

Next, my all time favorite fun box! You can click here to see the past posts that I have blogged about it and you will also see the ins and outs of the how to's! Again, I am here for you if you need help. I adore these….just adore them!

I hope that you can see the fun that you can have with making these fun projects. It truly is amazing what you can make out of paper and you can clearly see that you will receive smiles from those that receive these!

I know…I know – I am off my usual schedule but I think that you will enjoy this post! I decided to do this as this great die is on the weekly deal list and today is the last day for you to take advantage of getting it at a 25% discount! That in itself deserves a WOOT-WOOT!
I have used this die before and I must say when it came out, I totally passed it by as I am not a "French Fry" gal but once I saw others use it – I knew that I needed it as it is a keeper (yes, it is being carried over). Today I am using it to send to Hannah as she is beginning her final exams and wanted to send her something special.
Using the same stamp set I have used the past 2 day, Oh My Goodness….I think you can easily see that it is a keeper! It's going to be around so why not get it as you can see – it is super cute!

I know that many of us are intimated by 3-D projects and I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and give them a try! I was always a "Card Gal" but once I started to use the Big Shot to the Max and try the dies…I was so happy!
Here are some pictures that will show you the progression of the fun "treat for Hannah". The start for me is using the Vanilla Coaster Board – I adore this with 3 -D's as I feel it makes it super sturdy!

When I was putting my thinking cap on…I thought – what could I send Hannah that would make her smile, be fun, practical and let her know that John and I are thinking of her! These little chocolates are new mini chocolates (that I know she'll love) but she will REALLY love the gift card to her favorite Sushi Restaurant!

I followed the same scoop I did over Saturday and Sundays post with the embossing folder and the 3/4" punch etc…so you can see that this works too with a die like this! Just let the "green glue" set up before you trim off the edges where the die folds…..(so darn cute!)

The sentiments in this stamp set are so fun! I adore this one and I used stampin' dimensionals to lift it up! ( I think I am partial because of the Polka Dots)

The little hearts do make it – again, a great example of how our punches make our project go to a fast WOW with a punch!
I think that you can understand why I changes up our regular schedule! I really wanted to share with you how you can maximize a stamp set in totally different way and at the same time create a wow!

We are soooo lucky that Stampin' Up! offers these weekly deals and I hope that you see the value in getting this at a discount – remember, today is the last day and you know what tomorrow is….a new group of offerings!
Thanks for popping by, please feel free to leave me a comment or email me! Let's all have a great week!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for April where every day is Earth Day. This month we are showcasing projects that use recycled, reused or other earth inspired elements and colors. We hope you enjoy the Pals creative projects.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Benjaman Turner at He Stamps, #13 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

If you follow my blog, (and I hope you do)….I broke my ankle in January. My Stamp Area is upstairs and the steps and I were not the best of friends.
I have a FABULOUS and supportive husband but the family room quickly became my Stamp area….he is very patient but I felt like I had to have some sort of order so I turned to a Kleenex Box and the rest is history!
I hope that this box of tricks is an inspiration to you and you look around your home to see what you can use…re-use and find a purpose for! We all have hidden gems out there and I hope that you like my gem!

I know that we all know what the size of a Kleenex Box is…but hang on to your Stampin' supples as I think that you are going to be shocked with all that I have in here…
This is full of the basic, must haves that we use all the time for creating works of Art from our Heart – to me these ARE to goodies that make me roll when I sit down to create.
I like to think of it as a kitchen, when you have the proper utensils, the cooking process goes so much smoother…and just like equipping a kitchen – it takes time, it is an investment but here is my take on the "must haves" for making me roll with my projects!

(These are in no particular order, I am just peaking in my box and typing away!)
- Stampin' Scrub (Once you get use to using this – you'll never be without it)
- Craft Scissors (I know…and indulgence – but SOOOOOO worth it – you'll never regret it….actually I bet you'll buy another within 6 months – I keep one for paper and one for ribbon)
- Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (no sighing here….try it – you'll LOVE IT)
- Adhesive Remover (Simply the best, especially if you use the "green glue" a bunch)
- Project Life Journaling Pens (these are the best to write with in your cards…they do not smear one bit!)
- White Gel Pen (what would I do without my trusty friend)
These are the Stampin' Up! Products that were a supporting actress to my box of fun!
- 1-3/8" Circle Punch ( to make the hole for the boxes)
- Blushing Bride 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock
- Blushing Bride 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
- Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (A MUST HAVE!!!)
- Flower Pot Designer Series Paper
- Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz Die
- Vanilla Coaster Board (I adore this and used it to "lift up" my letters, this is what I used to make my Easter Baskets. It is overlooked in the catalog but sure does come in handy!)

Non Stampin' Up Things in my box of tricks!
- Mechanical Pencil (I think the lead is softer making it super easy to erase
- Magic Rub Eraser (a simple eraser that you can buy at any office store)
- A Good Ruler (I like one that is clear and one that goes down to 1/8" marks
- A note pad (I always like to have scratch paper to write note and tips for my postings)

As the saying goes….THAT'S ALL FOLKS! You have a bunch of hopping to do – go and be a sponge and take it all in!
The next stop is Beth McCullough at Stamping Mom, #15 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!

Good Morning! Do you remember several weeks ago a stamper made the super cute "tooth fairy" box for her son Caleb? Well…not only did Tricia touch my heart as I adored that it was so important to her to have Caleb be a big part of the project, dear 5 year old Caleb stole my heart as he loves Jack Russell's!
This cute card and top note box is for the little guy…as he is so darn cute! There is nothing like seeing a little tike that looses both of his front teeth but there is nothing better than a little tike that loves Jack Russell's so he stole my heart!

You know how much I adore these boxes…I make them all year long as they are perfect for all occasions! Click here and also here to see other posts that I did with this box and you will find the directions as well…please feel free to email me if you need help!
To go with the fun box is this fun card for my little friend…he is a STAR in my eyes! This is from the Stamp, Pictogram Punches Stamp Set, it's a keeper one and you will see it again this week! (I would be shocked if this was on the bye-bye list) – it really is a versatile set!

I was in the mood to do some heat embossing and I used the clear powder on the Navy card-stock and then the white on the Red made it pop. Look how simple and easy this card is but it sill makes a great statement.
On the Top Note Box I used the Little Letters Thinlits Die…something that I do not use often but the effect is super-duper! With the help of the magnetic platform and my trusty pencil lines…this was a cinch and oh so fun for this special young man!

It is Tuesday – and that is a NEW set of goodies at 25% off…THANK YOU Stampin' Up! and with the FREE SHIPPING…I say WOOT-WOOT! There are some great basic framelits….you can never go wrong with the stacking framelits like the stars and hearts!
Remember…the FREE shipping is for everything….including clearance as well – Have fun…..remember that I have a Stampin' Rewards Program….cause' I adore you and I thank you for your support!

Caleb….enjoy and I hope your wonderful Mom puts a note in your box for each time you lose a tooth! You touch my heart and "Eddie" says hi!
Until tomorrow!

NEWS FLASH!!!! – Hot off the press….PLEASE click here to see the NEW BATCH OF GOODIES that Stampin' Up! is offering for YOU to choose as a FREEBIE for Sale-A-Bration…..I am going to have a photo at the end of this post….but let's end this Sale-A-Bration with a BANG! This is the BEST time to stock up on staples and be able to get goodies for free!
Also….scroll and see the winner from yesterday – super cute card!
Last year I did a post on this little guy, you can click here to see that post but I get so many emails and pinterest pins asking about this little guy, I decided to post about him again as some of the product from last year has been discontinued!
Now you talk about easy! These are a cinch and they are also a great project for both the young and old to make for a quick project. The difference is that the embossing folder that I used for last years oval was discontinued but you will be able to see that I am showing you (2) different ways that you can do it!

You can refer back to the other post for the "specifics" on the scoop but basically all you need is:
- Take a piece of card-stock 2" X 11" then score it at 4 1/2"…turn it around and scored it at 4 1/2"
- Use the Tag Topper Scalloped Punch and punch both ends (if you do not have this style, one of the other Topper Punches would work just fine)
- Being totally "type A", I measure down 1 1/4" and made a pencil line so that was my guide to place the oval framelit before I ran it through the Big Shot. (If you are not using the framelits and just using the Extra Large Oval Punch – just punch it out)

- To make the "ring" – I used the oval framelits #1 & #2
- I like using the Seam Binding Ribbon to tie the bows, the cotton ribbon will also be perfect.
- Fru-fru and decorate as you would like. (Did you notice that I wrapped the SAB Lost Lagoon Bakers Twine around the little guys neck to hide the red ribbon. I thought he looked handsome)

If you do not have the oval framelits, you can easily use the Extra Large Oval punch but I think that it is super cute with the ring. You can see that I added white dashes around the oval opening (which helped jazz it up a bit) and maybe I should have down that on the Lost Lagoon one.
Because the Oval punch Bunny does not take up as much room, I was able to add the sentiment, "Happy Easter" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and then used the window words punch and the Modern Label Punch.

Both of them are super cute and they are always a hit. I hope hope that you give them a try – run to the store and get your little bunnies….they have "sheep" too but we already know how to make the cutest sheep in the whole wide world.
I hit the "hay" early last night (I think I pushed myself to much) so I will announce the winner for the Monday Challenge tomorrow as I am sure that people were just starting to rock and roll when I was going to sleep (for me to miss the Voice – you know I was pooped!)

It's Tuesday…THAT MEANS a new batch of weekly deals from Stampin' Up! Woot-woot….they are the best to do this for use each and every week!
Please feel free to email me…I love helping you reach your goals…this is just so much fun and I hope that I made you smiled and inspired you to whip some up!!!
Here is the Flyer of new SAB GOODIES….I say a BIG WOOT-WOOT….remember, with every $50.00 increment you get to choose a free Sale-a-brtion item and now….here are 10 more choices….I love choices! These are only WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

p.s. – The winner of yesterday's challenge was….Sharon G from New Jersey!!!! She used the same technique that I showed and look at it – FABULOUS! Many thanks to so many that shared their work of art with me!

p.p.s. – Happy St. Patrick's Day….I keep thinking about the bread that Nancy was making…..yummers – that sounds sooooo good! Corn Beef and cabbage for us tonight!
