Good Morning! I am sure that there are going to be many of you that are going to be going to the store today to get these adorable little Snowmen and Terry Bears! They are Lindt Chocolates and I found them in the grocery store – (as I walked by the candy section they "jumped" in my cart and said take me home)!!!
I only have 3 pictures for you today as this post is that easy…you can easily mass produce these guys and they make adorable place cards for your table. When I worked, I always made them and placed them on my co workers desk with a note…..they are just FUN to make!
Back in the Spring I did a post similar using the chocolate bunnies….please click here to see that post! Today's are just the same with the exception of 2 things.
- The embossing folder I used (for the bunny) is discontinued so I did not show it for today's post, I just used the Oval punch but if you do have that embossing folder, I would use it….(I like the effect it gives….but today I did something different and I also liked that!
- Also on the Bunny one, I popped out both sides and today I only did one side….why???? = the bunny you could see from both sides and these (2) I am showcasing today are (1) sided.
Let's get going and this is so darn easy!

- Take a 2" X 11" piece of card stock and score it at 4 1/2"…then flip it around and score it at 4 1/2" again….use your bone folder to get a good crease!
- Using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch….do both ends!
- Using the X Large Oval Punch, punch out the opening for your critters!
- If you want…run through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.
- I placed snail adhesive on the base of the project and squished some white fru-fru and then used several glue dots to adhere my critter!
- Add some simple ribbon….stamp the sentiment on scraps and DONE!

Now how about that for hitting that "Easy Button"!!! Cute, fast, fun….I guess the only down side is that you hate to eat them!!! (I must admit, I still have a bunny in my work area and even if I get a "sweet tooth"….I just can't do it to him!)
Many thanks for the emails and comments in wishing Hannah home. It is wonderful to have her home safely. It was truly an amazing experience and John and I are "taking the stories all in". It was very bittersweet to see her leave her new friends (28 of them) that were on this journey together over the past 4 months!
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, and do not forget about the clearance rack….this is the End of the Year Clearance while supplies last!
Today we are getting our Tree….always an exciting time. Please pop back tomorrow as it is Make it Mine Monday! Enjoy the day and be careful going to get your chocolate Snowmen and Terry Bears!
p.s. – below you will notice that I am using a new system for logging the products that I use in my post. You can just click on the picture and place it in the shopping cart or you can also print off the supplies that I use and keep it for reference for the future. ( click the supplies list link)
You might want to copy a picture of the post and keep it with the supply list and start a booklet of projects!

Woot-woot…it is Sunday and it is time for my "PEEPS" to go back to their nests – I will be thankful to get the call that they made it home safely! One thing that is great about having "Adult Peeps" is that they raid your refrigerator and you are "cleaned out" with the things John and I probably should not eat!
We have had a fabulous past couple of days and as much as I will miss them being home….going back to a schedule will be a joy! As I blogged on Friday, I have become not a fan of doing the crazy Black Friday craze….but I sure do like cyber Monday!
Let's get to today's post! I am SUPER happy that Stampin' Up! is "bundling" them up (Item # 140353) for just tomorrow and it will be at a 30% savings~

One thing that I will never forget that my Mom taught me and also I continue to share (or preach as the PEEPS say)…when you give a package…(no matter what the monetary value is) – always….ALWAYS make it special…and these (3) products will do this for you! Let's get going….
PLEASE REMEMBER to use the item code of #140353 to get the "bundle" discount but below I will showcase the items for you to see the quantities of each of the products!
Here are the trio's and I hope you enjoy how I have "jazzed" them up a bit – still so simple and classic!

I have blogged many times with these boxes…. and I am just doing the "Happy Dance" with them! Not only do they make fabulous "Advent Boxes"…they are great for Party favors, small gifts…notes of inspiration….just a fun box that can be decorated in many ways! They are called the Tiny Treat Boxes.

This is a great box that already has a "window in it" which makes it great to see thru! The are called the Decorative Window Gift Box and being the "type A" that I am….I did use the circle framelits in #'s 5 & 7 and cut a ring to cover up the decorative part ( you really do not need to do this)…..but I thought that the total look of this was great!

The stamp set I used was the Wonderous Wreath…and I highly recommend that you get this beauty as a bundle as it is GREAT that you have matching framelits to make cutting a breeze!

Last but not least….the "take out box" – this is a great box and soooo darn easy to jazz up! I used the sponge daubers in Old Olive and not only is it easy – it is FUN!
I do hope that you take advantage of this great deal tomorrow….(I sure am)….and do not forget about the Blendabilities! This is a special deal as it is great that they are not only bundling them….but they will be 30% off! That deserves a huge woot-woot!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN THIS BUNDLE????? In the season of Thanksgiving…I would like to give someone this! Just leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite childhood memory "gift" was…and I will pick (1) person and let you know tomorrow!
I love to read your comments and I know that others do as well! Let's have fun going down "Memory Lane" and I deeply thank you for popping by!
Until tomorrow…..it will be super – duper exciting!
P.S – I am sorry if you have received this post twice – I am not sure what happened but hopefully tomorrow…a.new week…no hiccups!

by Susan Itell | Nov 23, 2014 | 3-D Projects, Super Easy, Thank You |

This is a GREAT day for sooooo many reasons! I am super excited about today's post as I have the honor to be the guest stamper of my dear friend and fearless leader….Mary Fish! I am always so darn tootin' excited when I can be her guest!
If you have never popped on my blog before…WELCOME….and yes, I do blog daily (like Mary) and I have learned from the best….I love what I do and I love inspiring YOU! Please subscribe to my blog if you wish!

I have a confession and one that I am sure that all of my "peeps" will acknowledge….I love monograms…I love initials… All around my home you will find "personalized touches" and when the "peeps" were "little peeps" I was a representative for a children's clothing company that specialized with color coordinating clothes and monograms were the star!
In looking at pictures….they DREAD how I dressed them but I still think that they were adorable! ENOUGH WITH MEMORY LANE (darn, I love going down that lane)…..today's post will highlight how you can take one stamp set and make a great set of note-card for ANYONE!
The stamp set that I used for today is one that I can just about guarantee that you have "passed" on because I admit…it is very $$$$$ but you need to think past that as it is so darn versatile! It is called Larger than Life and it is just that!

The minute the new catalog came out in the Spring, I adored this stamp set but I thought "Should I get it now….or wait"….I am always honest (about the in's and out's of products) but I knew that deep down – I needed it. I used a 50% off on it and you can do the same by having a cyber event…..please email me and I will help you reach your goals!
Now I say to myself, "Silly Susan"….just look at how many gifts you can make with this clean and classic stamp….and I LOVE IT!
O.k. – let's get to it as it s a fun project and I hope that I have inspired you to give this stamp set a try and also do this! Just think about how many different people you can give this to! I invite you to think of:
- Friends
- Family
- Hairdresser
- Co-Worker
- Mother in Laws….Sister in laws
- Kids in College
- Teachers
- Birthday Gifts (everyone needs thank you notes)
- Hostess Gift
You can see that the list is endless and fun! This is a GREAT way to use up DSP that you have and also it is sooooo darn tootin' affordable using the Note-cards that Stampin Up! offers…..WOOT-WOOT……you get 20 cards & Envelopes for just $5.95!
- The simple scoop on making this box is….for the bottom, cut your card stock to 7 1/4" X 5 3/4" and then using the Simply Scored – I score at the 1" mark all around (see the below picture to see how I "cut in" on the ends as well as placed the sticky strip!)

- For the "Top", I suggest that you make is a "smidge larger" to fit nicely over it! The dimensions for this are 7 3/8" X 5 7/8" and do the same as you did for the bottom!
- You all know by now that every Tuesday, Stampin' Up! is wonderful in offering "deals for a week" and I love the challenge in incorporating them into my posts!
You can see that I have used the Deco Labels Framelits to create the center of the box along with the help of the Window Sheets. (You could easily skip this step but I think it makes it "finished & fun"….also it help you see whose initial it is!!!)

- For the note-card….it is already ready cut with the Stampin' Ups! help but then I cut a white piece just a 1/4" smaller (4 3/4" X 3 1/4") and then scored it at 1/4" all around to give it some depth! Have fun with the colors of your choose and also the DSP!
- For the back flaps of the envelopes….easy-peasy – I just take a piece of DSP that is 5 1/4"" X 2" and then run a very, very thin bead of "green glue" (mono) just around the edges of the envelope….place the DSP on it….let it set it a bit and then PRESTO – cut the excess away! LOVE IT!
( I will say that I usually cut my DSP in 6" width so if I am using it with the Envelope Liner Framelit, they are good to go but if you are doing it this method, you can get by with cutting the paper smaller)

I love picking out the DSP for the person's personality, I think that this gives this project a great "personal touch" and one that I know will be well received and very useful. I can get at least (8) cards and envelopes in a box….want to make it larger, no worries – just make our box depth larger!

- Simply Stamp the "initial of your choice" with the "color of your choice" and PRESTO – you are good to go!
- If you are making the "solid" color box top and then want to embellish it with coordinating paper (like the below "m" one) – those measurements are (2) pieces at 5 1/4" X 3/4" and (2) pieces at 3 3/4" X 3/4"….This truly carries the theme of your gift!

Have fun and mix up what you have! You can easily decorate the boxes in so many ways! I am just crazy about this project and I already have 15 boxes made for friends and family! I am a "big believer" of handmade gifts….they touch the heart and they are remembered!

Please feel free to email me and/or leave me a comment about this post! Please remember, share with me a Tradition of your Thanksgiving Holiday and you can win some BLOG CANDY and also some yummy brownies from me!

Click here to see yesterday's post and I am sooooooo darn inspired and touched by the comments! I will announce the winner tomorrow!
Monday's are fun day for me as I offer a personal challenge to help you create your style….if you choose to share it with me …GREAT….if not…no biggie (I am just happy that you are going to your craft space and having fun)
Thanks for popping in today and a HUGE thanks to Mary….please leave me a comment for this blog post and/or about what "traditions" means to you…..(Yesterday's Post) and YOU could win the Blog Candy! I love reading about YOU and things that YOU and your family love about the holiday…..

by Susan Itell | Nov 21, 2014 | 3-D Projects, Birthday |

I just love making 3 – D projects and I love to share them with you to inspire YOU to make them as well! I was sooooooo darn intimidated by making 3-D projects as I thought that were totally "over my head" but once I "got the bug" – I loved it!
If you are not one that makes 3-D's – this is a super one to start with. It is very straight forward and I actually blogged about it on September 29, 2013 and you can click here to see that post and the instructions on how to make it are right there!
Today's is much simpler as I just made the box…and then cutting the "pattern" of the DSP from the Confetti Celebration DSP….I simply made a quick "belly band" before adhering this focal sentiment!

With all of the super fun stamps and super beautiful paper we have, you can clearly see that this project can be made all year around – remeber this post! (I love to pop them on someones desk….in their mailbox, whatever as a "I'm thinking of you")

Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have. I think that the directions on the post are very clear, but it is always my goal for you to feel confident and understand how to do make cards/projects that I post about!

The stamp set I used was Sketched Birthday and this project is for a friend that celebrates a Birthday in the middle of December! The group of "Iquana's" get together for a lunch and I thought that these would be great table favors!

You can see in the below picture that I already "stamped" many different colors while I had the stamp out….I just need to make the boxes in other colors!
Sometimes when you are working on a project but short of time….this is a great example of getting parts completed….and then after Thanksgiving, I have plenty of time to make my boxes for Kathleen's Birthday!

I hope that this inspires you to "give it a try" and this would be a GREAT project for your Thanksgiving Table…..you could "double it up" with some yummy Ghiradelli Chocolates as well as a placecard…..I just LOVE multi tasking!

I hope that this post has put a HUGE smile on your face and you will run out and get some chocolates (great sales right now) and just have fun!
We are now on the COUNTDOWN to Thanksgiving! I just ADORE Thanksgiving and I can hardly wait to have my dear Dad, my brother and (2) of the peeps…Hannah is still away (she is in Brazil now) along with a super sweet friend that is all alone for the holiday….
Here's to a GREAT and FUN weekend ahead, please feel free to email me and ask….ask….ask if you have any questions about making this great project I shared with you today. This is a fun project and I want you to have fun making it!

A week from today is the famous retail day of "BLACK FRIDAY"….it is one crazy day of shopping frenzy but Stampin' Up! will have you covered to sit at home in warmth and shop away with SPECIALS that will start on Monday and last until December 2nd (or while supplies last)…You know what is coming… a huge WOOT-WOOT!!!

I will share more details with you tomorrow…I am excited and I know that you will be excited too!
Tomorrows post will be a fun, interactive one and instead of a Simple Saturday, we are going to have a "Silly Saturday" for you tomorrow….please POP back – I need your feedback….it will help me to get ready for Turkey Day!

Well…I have been looking everywhere I go for more ideas for our Boxes from Thursday's Post and naturally I found some classics…the Hershey Kiss! I know that I have seen projects for this but I have never tried it!
You know me that I like "Simple things" and this might look like it is hard…but if I can do it YOU can do it. I thought that I took a lot of pictures….but I think I found a "new friend"….a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Brenda Quintana…Please go to her blog and see the talent that she has!
You do not need me at all as Brenda's directions are just FABULOUS and I adore that she takes a TON of pictures…pictures are such a help and I highly encourage you to go get some "kisses" & "nuggets" and have a blast making this adorable tree!

These use a minimal amount of paper and you will feel so good that you accomplished this! It made my day as I thought….WOWZERS – this looks way too complicated!

Another idea the you could do is to punch a hole in a gift card edge and tie that one the tree…a PERECT GIFT! (just make sure you do not cut the magnetic strip on the card)

Below is just a person preference for me! I have made up a bunch of these and these are simply some tips to pass onto you!

I hope that you have enjoyed this post and are inspired to make a bunch as they are super fun and oh, so festive! Just think of "how cute" this would be for someone in a home…they would ADORE having a cute little tree in their room…
I am ALWAYS amazed with the talent out there and a HUGE thanks to Brenda for such an AMAZING tutorial….wowzers, a girl after my own heart! Many , many thanks for your talent and clarity!
Enjoy the day and until tomorrow…..Stampin' hugs to all of you!

I am smiling from ear to ear for today's post….WHY??? These darn boxes make me smile and I am super excited to share with you this fun, meaningful, clever and a way to get into the spirit of the upcoming season!
The Advent Calendar is something for all ages! I have already made up 8 sets of these for my "peeps", my dear Dad and my god-children and I hope that you will see the FUN that I am enjoying! This is a great way to use up scraps!!!
I say a BIG thank you to Stampin Up! for these adorable boxes, they are called the Tiny Treat Boxes and they are the BEST especially since you can make up a whole season of FUN for just $6.95.

A BIGGER thank you to Stampin Up! for this GREAT RIBBON that is in the Clearance Rack for just $3.59 and with one roll – you can tie these simple knots with just ONE ROLL…that is a woot-woot!!!!
The ribbon is called Cherry Cobber 1" Grosgrain. I was soooo happy to find something to offer to you at such a great price! You can get (25) 14" cuts from one roll!
I also used the Cherry Cobbler Bakes Twine to add the "numbers" to the boxes! You can easily use (1) package to complete everything…..the tags and also tying the bags!

The Stamp Set is called 25 Days and wowzers – being a photopolymer Stamp Set, the stamping was super easy! I was very Traditional with my color choices…..Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow!
I did use a variety of our punches to do this project!….they are mainly the Circle Punches in the sizes of 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1 3/4" and 2"
I will say …"HANDS DOWN"…if Santa needs to bring you something this year…it is the Craft Scissors…they are AMAZING and they make cutting ribbon a breeze! I was really…really debating about them as I know that they are $$$ but they are totally worth it!

This is such a fun and also a gift of love! I know that when I was a child, I adored opening up the little "windows" of an Advent Calendar!
You can easily line the boxes up to look like a tree, but I think that seeing a big batch of beautiful boxes is just plain fun! I found some small bags at a candy store…(100 bags for just $1.89) for the items that you need to "bag"
I really do not have any "little" ones to give these to but I think for the "girls" that I am giving to, I will put them in a beautiful and practical basket that they will use in their dorms/apartments and for the "guys" I am going to put them in some sort of useful storage container!
Here are some ideas that I have come up with to fill…PLEASE put your thinking cap on and get more ideas rolling! If you think of some "keepers" – please share!
- M&M's
- Small post it notes
- nuts…(peanuts, pistachios, cashews)
- stamps
- tiny bottles of nail polish
- MANY things from the Dollar Store
- Love notes of inspiration
- Mini Candy bars
- erasers
- Money
- Peppermint Patties
- Mints
- Gum
- Rolos
- Swedish Fish
- Trail Mix
- GoldFish Crackers
- Animal Crackers
I hope that this has been as much fun for you as it was for me! Please do not wait to order these goodies as it is "While Supplies Last"…especially for the ribbon. Please click here and have fun!
Remember, make your list…check it twice….as you know you will be the "HIT"! So fun, so unique yet so affordable!
Boxes $6.95 + Ribbon $3.59 – Stamp Set $25.95 = A priceless gift
Fun…fun…FUN!!!! Until tomorrow!
p.s. – You know what would be super fun…get a bunch of friends together and maximize the project…share the price of the stamp set and GO TO TOWN! This sounds like a perfect time together!
