Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for January 2017. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our 2017 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month our projects showcase themes that are โfrom the heart.โ This includes any of the following themesโฆ Valentineโs Day, Thinking of You, Get Well and/or Sympathy. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come fromย the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.ย The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

YIPPEE~ SKIPPEE I am super happy for the 1st Blog Hop if the year for the PALS! This is always a fun day and you can be a leap frog and hop from one amazing blog to another! WOW ~ there is a ton of talent out there and be a sponge and soak it all up!
I was trying to think of a card that would be perfect blank (without a sentiment on the front) so when you need a card for all of the above themes…Valentineโs Day, Thinking of You, Get Well and/or Sympathy you have one ready to rumble and you can stamp the sentiment of your choice in the inside!
You just can’t go wrong with the classic and there is nothing more classic than a “heart” Below you can see that this is one special heart as the amount of detail is spectacular.
Having a card that is blank is super handy to have and I am a big believer that when you make one card….why not make many??? – just POUND THEM OUT and then you will always be prepared!

Here is a tip for you….I just love to share tips! I realize that this is a very detailed thinlit – that’s why it is so darn special but some might be looking at this and thinking “what a pain in the drain this must be to adhere” Well….NO – I feel like you have (2) choices.
- Use a product called Stick It – click here as this is a super thin adhesive that you place your card stock over and then run it through the Big Shot like normal…….and then there is a release paper that is super easy to remove and POOF!!!!! You detailed die is ready for you to adhere.
- The other option is to use good old fashion Green Glue, if you follow my blog…one of my motto’s is….GREEN GLUE to the rescue! ๐

The pictures above and below will give you an insight of how I added just an extra step to make the finished card look super special (as heck, aren’t all cards that we send out special?”)
Those little (2) flowers that are in this set are a breeze to cut out ~ you are good to go with green glue or a mini glue dot
Sorry for the “wonky color” of these 2 pictures but I think that you can see how I scored the top and bottom of the card. I thought it needed a little something and this is a trick that I do often and it is very stunning when you hold the card in your hand. I do prefer the Simply Scored Board as I feel I can get a deeper score!

Now we are back to the good color (heck – I thought my eyes were bad) I love pictures like this below when you can see the side angle of the project. This is so classic and crisp in the Whisper White and I always love the additional layers of flowers…..it is the little oomph that take it to that “special level”

If you follow my blog you know that I adore my envelopes! I can honestly say that there is not one card that leaves Randall Lane without some sort of love. Today I carried the theme of the card by scoring a piece of Rose Red card stock that was 3/4″ wide and then below it added the Rose Red Flower Pattern from the Regals DSP Stack! The icing on the cake!
Well…what do you think? I think that it is one classic card that could easily “fit the bill” for each of these themes that we are HOPPING about today! Now you need to GET GOING and click on the next Blog listed below! Have fun and enjoy your day!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for November 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month our projects feature items that are considered 3D, Home Dรฉcor or Gift Sets.
I have a fun one for you today! This is a G R E A T (as Fred Flintstone would say) and this is one that would be super for a gift for just about anyone!!!!

I just love it when the PALS have a Blog Hop and I will say, this theme is FUN! I am still away so my supplies are very limited but I did bring this Framelit with me as I always have FUN making this sweet little popcorn box! I did not have the stamp set with me but I just made it work with the supplies I have with.

I will say, there are times that I do not purchase the bundle as I feel like I will only use 1 element of it (rarely happens) but this one is one that I WOULD purchase as a bundle. The (2) long vertical stamps are super for card making as they always add a special touch and I also love the little “squiggle”
The long vertical ones work perfectly if you want to stamp on the box…heat emboss etc. I adore the floral one when you stamp it with versamark and then just “let it dry” to give it a tone on tone or better yet, heat it with clear embossing powder.
When I am using a DSP like today, I always like to “back it up” with a Cardstock for stability. It is super easy to do as the lines are already scored for you and I use the green glue…let it “set up” – and then use then the bone folder to give it a super crease!

I truly believe that it is great to have a couple of 3-D in your stash as they really are super quick to make and they also are perfect for that “little something” to brightens someones day!
Today I used the Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack Paper but I also cut this die out with a piece of thick whisper white and then simply adhered them together….gave them a good scored and did the final adhering to the sides.
To layer these papers together I did use good old “green glue” but I used the tear -n tape to adhere the side as I wanted a good and super strong hold.

The FUN inside my Popcorn Box is a refill kit from the Paper Pumpkin from October. The refill is still available and it is just adorable. I truly do not think that you can go wrong with stocking up on them but remember, you need to be a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber to get the refill. The refill contains the below and have no worries about the Halloween images…you will definitely use them next year, they are adorable!
Remember, you can sign up for a Paper Pumpkin for just 1 month and be done if it is not for you (it is just $20 and than includes shipping). There is something special about the next kit ( I bet it is a holiday super cute one) and the cut off for getting it is tomorrow so I would hit that button below and get it for a month and then you would be able to order this refill!

With today’s fun…I used (3) test tubes = and this would allow you to make (8) gifts from an $8.00 refill (woot-woot) and I filled it with Hot Chocolate, crushed mints and mini marshmallows! Truly, the sky is the limit as well as you want it to be! (I tucked in a Starbucks gift card) so you can easily see that this is a great gift!

The ornament is from the Merriest Wishes Ornament Set and this is just a Holiday Classic and will never go out of style. (That means to me…it will never leave Randall Lane!!! ๐ ) Not only are the Ornaments great…the sentiment of “Be Joyful” is just stunning, here is a card that I did with it and I just adore it.

I know.,…I know ~ that many of you are skeptical about 3-D projects….but trust me, they are FUN! I encourage you to look at your stash and see what you have that can make great gifts! This IS one that will do so…..
Now you need to go HOPPING and how fitting is that Mary Fish is TOP of the list…as she deserves it – just coming back from my fun trip and not only was Mary #1 in the USA…..but she was #1 in the WORLD!!!! It was a great time…and one that she sooooooo deserves! Have FUN and I will see you tomorrow!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop forย September 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month our projects represent our favorite year end Season. It may be Autumn, Winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas (and maybe even a combination!) We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come fromย the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.ย The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

I love this topic for our hop today BUT….it was hard to pick what is my favorite! I decided to go with Fall as HANDS DOWN this is my favorite season of the year! I adore seeing the colors that nature gives us…I adore the crisp and cool nights….I adore apples and soft and chewy Ginger Cookies….and I love having “good hair days” with the absence of the East Coast humidity!
The stamp set I used is Basket of Wishes Photopolymer and I admit, I totally overlooked it in the catalog until a customer ordered it with her PAW PRINTS rewards and when I saw it – WOW….this is a great set! (you see – YOU ALL ENABLE me as well!) ๐

The star of the show today is the Aqua Painter! I will be honest with you….I stamped this image (4) times on scraps pieces of Thick White Cardstock because I thought I might need “trial runs” – BUT…I did this on the 1st take!
The Aqua Painter is a super tool that “just does it”…and the best advice I can give you is….go for it! Look at the colors of ink that you have and just go to town! I have listed at the end the colors that I usedย and true it looks like a bunch but I just use a little here and a little there!

Here is a closer look…and you can see where the “sketchy” lines are…I use a darker color…I am not sure if that it what I am to do – but I do! This is the thing that I LOVE about card making….no rules – just have FUN!
The card is a 4 1/4″ square and then I added the Always Artichoke Polka Dots Paper from the Regals Stack….and it is funny – I never used this color in my water-coloring – a point that I want to make it just have fun and mix up colors to what you like! (I knew that if I used the Always Artichoke in the water-coloring, it would be too dark)

If you are new to my blog, welcome…..but one thing that my daily subscribers know…I love my envelopes! Today I made a fun color envelope with the In Color Envelope Paper and the Envelope Punch Board.
Here is a tip…the measurements for a 4 1/4″ Square Card are not on the punch board but here you go! I have a sticky note on the bottom of my Punch Board so I do not forget!
- A 7 1/4″ Square
- Punch, score and rotate at 3 5/8″
- PRESTO — a perfect envelope!

Here is a visual, 411 – Directory Assistance photo for you to PIN away for the future! I did use the sentiment ofย “Giving Thanks for the Blessing of You” in the inside of the card – to me the perfect finishing tough that will surely make someone smile!

Wel
come to the Pals Blog Hop for Augustย 2016. ย We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampinโ Up! cutting tools. There are so many wonderful punches, framelits and edgelits available that help make papercrafting more detailed and fun!

I love this day of the month…the day that PALS from all over HOP – HOP – HOP.…so I hope that you have fun being inspired with 24 great ideas! Do you ever stop and say….“WOW – there are so many ways to do things….so much inspiration out there” This is one thing that I love about being a SUD….sharing and helping others see that THEY CAN DO IT!
Today I have a super simple and super sweet card that you could easily change up the sentiment but I ADORE this sentiment and you betcha that you will see many cards made with this stamp set! With today’s theme…our favorite cutting tools….I think I nailed it!

The tools that I used are my daily stampin’ friends – I think that you will all agree that these are KEEPERS!
- Big Shot – Our MAIN MAN of the stampin’ room and then I used an Embossing Folder, Large Polka Dots
- Stampin’ Trimmer – THE BEST….look at the thin cuts you can make and you can cut and/or score
I hope that you can see that it is fun to play with the great DSP that we have~ Sometimes it is fun to throw out all ideas out of your head and just say….“I am going to PLAY and I AM GOING TO HAVE FUN!” This is exactly what I did for this card today! This is a unique paper stack that screams fun and versatile.

You all know by now that a card would not be a card from me without a fun envelope! Again, I used my trimmer to make the 1/4″ strip and yes, I like to use the right hand side of the trimmer when making thin cuts.
Oh no….I almost forgot another tool that I used a bunch and one that I know you all are not crazy about BUT….it’s really not scary – it is a lifesaver as you all know how frustrating it is to have a crooked sentiment….now that DOES make me sad! I stamped the sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of paper and then in the next picture you can see that I triple stamped it!

Pin away for a rainy day! Here is the scoop on the main products I used. I hope that this card brought a smile to your face and you can see…that JUST GO FOR IT – and you will have a sweet, clean and simple card!

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for July 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month we are featuring projects using our favorite Stampinโ Up! Designer Series Paper as well as coordinating embellishments. What we love about Stampinโ Up! is they make it so easy to mix and match colors. And, the amazing selection of embellishments provides a wonderful finished look to our projects.

I have a funny for you…I am giving this adorable box to my 86 year old Dad to have a “munch break” while he is sitting at the Atlanta Airport for 2 hours tomorrow. I am blessed, my Dad is going to get a chuckle when he opens up my “care package” to keep him company while he waits for a plane to go see my brother.
Speaking of blessed….Stampin’ Up! has soooooo many amazing DSP’s in this new catalog and today I might be surprising you by picking this DSP. Honestly, I think the reason why I am doing this is….at a first glance at the new DSP’s on the Block ~ This paper, Serene Scereny was not my favorite.
You might be saying, “Why in the heck are you showing this”? Great question and here is the answer…because I wanted to step out of my box and find “love” in something I might have passed up…and I LOVE IT! I was “tunneled visioned” by looking at the “picture” sides of this paper….but I love the flip sides!

This box is the best….and this bundle is simply adorable! You will see the full line up of the products used in the line up at the end of the post! I know that you have a bunch to HOP to so I will try to make my post short!
I adore the fact that we have so many great and practical 3-D Thinlit Dies…and I will say, I think that many of you are skeptical about making 3 – D’s and the truth is….they are NOT scary…they are FUN!
Before we get to the “low down” on the products used for today’s project….I say, grab a cup of coffee and watch this super quick video that will show you how easy it is to put this together!
One thing that I want to share/point out to you….if you were to look up the colors that coordinate with this DSP….you can see from the below line up that I went “out of the box” and it worked!

This is ONE CUTE PROJECT and one CUTE LLAMA and I know that my wonderful Dad will sit at the Atlanta Airport and enjoy the treat inside. I can almost bet you that he will show the person that wheels him to the next gate his goodie…and then I bet he will ask the person that is near him if they want a chocolate.
Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next monthโs Pals Blog Hop!ย

We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.ย This month we are featuring projects that are based on โBโ themes such as Birthday, Bride or Baby.

One thing that we have each and every year and something that we can not hid behind is a BIRTHDAY! To me, it is always a great thing to have a stash of Birthday Cards ready to rumble when you need one and I think that this sweet and fun card would certainly do the trick!

It looks as if it would be a complicated one to do but if that was the case….you know me – I would not be doing it as I am just “Simple Susan” and when things get to stressful…it is not fun for me! I like to have this whole process that we do to be happy and fun!
This is a super fun Blog Hop and I think that the idea of using “B” is a BRILLIANT one – we sure do have fun with the PALS. I could not resist using the BIRTHDAY theme as I was just itchin’ to use this new bundle, Biggest Birthdays. It is so well thought out and the easiest way I sum it up is – it is a fun bundle that will bring you joy for years making all sorts of festive Birthday Cards that can go for both the young and the old!

I am “showering” you with a bunch of pictures (I know you all love pictures) and I hope that you can see at first glance that this looks like a 4 1/2″ square Card….but then look – PRESTO, it is an easel card! Now this would surely make someone smile having this cute piece of cake staring at them!
As you will see in the below picture, score a line 1 1/2″ and then just put adhesive to that area so when you bend it…there will be a clean back (the melon mambo) and it will stand up behind the sentiment as the sentiment has been lifted with Stampin’ Dimensionals! ๐

What kind of cake do you like? Today I was in the mood for Chocolate Cake but my favorite is Carrot Cake – (wonder how I could make that one for a card) The beauty of this fun bundle is that the sky is the limit in how you can create. It was super fun to do and if I were making this card I would make MANY at the same time as the process would basically be an assembly one and the best thing is, you will smile as you will have a stack of cards ready to go when you need one!

Below is a picture if this FUN bundle and ADORABLE and FESTIVE paper. I would definitely buy this as a bundle as not only would you be saving an instant 10% but you will really, really want the framelits as they are so details and fun! Please make sure that you look in the catalog for great examples using this bundle….

I wanted to give you the scoop on how I made this. I cut out 2 cakes, one in Early Espresso and the other in white. I bet you could have stamped through the pieces of cake on the Early Espresso one but I did not want to take the chance, that is why I did one in white! I simply stamped the layers and then added them to the “Chocolate Cake” ๐ย (you see….I mess up too – great thing that there 2 sides!) ๐

If I had to bet…I would bet that this is going to be a very popular bundle. It is fun, festive and timeless. There are so many pieces in this bundle and with all of the great papers we have – you are certainly going to have fun making festive works of art.

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next monthโs Pals Blog Hop!ย
There is sooooo much talent out there with the PALS and you have a bunch of HOPPING to do. Please feel free to leave a comment to let me know how you like this card. Remember, it does not need to be an easel card, I just wanted to take a step out of my zone and share how easy it is!
