Good Friday to all….it is a GREAT day for many reasons but the reason that you will like the most is…..(drumroll…drumroll…)
The Daisy Delight Bundle is off BACK ORDER!!!!
I know that many of you had ordered the Daisy Delight Bundle and Stampin’ Up! will be shipping your item and for those of you that have been waiting to be able to order…..I say ORDER AWAY as it is obviously ONE HOT ITEM!
I think that it is clear to see that this was a product that just FLEW OUT THE DOOR….and took the projections for sales up in smoke – but as for today – the GREEN LIGHT is on so if I were you….I would HIT THAT PAW PRINT and make sure you secure this bundle.
Most of the time when we think if a bundle….it is a stamp and framelits….this is a stamp and a FABULOUS punch. By getting the bundle you will save an instant 10%….and I think that you can see with this simple card that the stamped flower that is over the stamped/punched out flower creates a fun feel for this card.
I think that it is far to say….Stampin’ Up! has amazing DSP and I know you guys….I know that there are lots of you that have “paper addictions” – well I get it….I am guilty as charged and if that is my worst addiction in life….than I’ll take it. This paper, Delightful Daisy is beautiful, just beautiful.
At first I thought – the prints are so big and busy…..how am I going to make it work? Well here is a tip…..when I have paper that I need to “figure out” – I keep a couple of the patterns out in my work area that I need to “see it” – by being forced to look at it as I walk by etc….it always jumps in my head and makes me think of ideas – try this….I bet you will see that it helps you break through that “what can I do block”
In honor of the GREEN LIGHT IS ON for this product that we have been waiting for….I chose to do the post in greens and also use the faceted gems as they too are off of being backordered!
For those of you that participated in the product share….I am happy to say that these are back and I will send you the missing items from the embellishment share. You can see….that Stampin’ Up! is making many of us super happy with the back orders being caught up!
You all know that I am not a BLING BLING kinda gal….true I like a “little makeup” by I am not one that likes a bunch of glitter and bling (truth be told – I am happiest in my barn comfy clothes) but these faceted gems are quite stunning. There are times that a touch of bling makes a statement…and these make a statement.
I can remember when I would see posts that had the “nestled thread look” and thought – I like that look for a change up….but when I attempted to recreate it – IT WAS A HOT TANGLED MESS – (sound familiar to anyone) After trying and trying to master it I found the easiest way….
- Make sure you have ample adhesive on the back of whatever you are sticking it to
- Just roll the tread around your hand (I either use 3 or all 4 fingers depending on the width of my nest) and make sure that you wrap many, many times as you need more than you think.
- Cut it…Take the circle of thread to the adhesive and PRESS….AFTER you have it adhered then you can fru-fru it to the look and feel you are going for.
I used to try to get it “just right” and then attempt to adhere – that’s when Mr. FRUSTRATION set in…..doing it this simple way – it is fast and easy.
I am happy that this product has the GREEN LIGHT for you. What is more clean, crisp and classic than a good old Daisy!
Speaking of Daisy….she is in HOG HEAVEN as I had a call from my Postal Lady saying…..my church made a bunch of strawberry shortcakes for a bake sale….and I have a bunch of strawberry tops for Miss Daisy….well – THAT IS MUSIC TO MY EARS and I gladly drove in to make my girl smack her lips! She just LOVES strawberries!!!
Mr. Perfect update…..well he is still perfect, we all know that…he still is not able to put much weight on his wee little leg but he is happy and in no pain. Being that he has soft tissue damage….they want him to try to put weight on it to start to get the muscles stronger and then he will get a cast back on right before we leave for Thailand. (I think that Dr. Hurry knows that I am more worried about the animals) so while we are away I know that it will be protected.
The things we do….never a dull moment but a moment that is “just my life” and that makes me roll! 😀

Happy HUMP day! Ok – are you smiling when you see this classic bike? I bet you are and this is a super fun bundle from the new catalog. The details that Stampin’ Up! put into this bundle is over the top…..(kinda the way that I felt about the Hot Air Ballon Bundle) – I think that we can all agree that there is just something classic about a bike…no matter your age!
It’s not hard to have a fun card when you have fun products to work with! Yesterday I chatted about stepping out of the color box that sometimes I think that we get trapped in….so today I challenged myself to use just solid colors of paper…and it worked and I was happy!
Here is a good peek at this dream of a bundle! You can see that again, I took the “freebie” idea that was right in front of me to get my mojo going for the card! This truly is a fun set to work with….so fresh!
You can see that there are a bunch of diecuts….(15 in all) and next we will chat about an idea that I like to do when I make the investment of a new bundle. I admit, I was doing the happy dance that this is a photopolymer…..they make stamping soooooo easy for perfect placement each and every time.
This is what I do when I get a “newbie in the house” – I will say that the stamp sets that I do not do this to right when I get them….I find that they are “SHELF SITTERS” for a while……does this sound familiar to anyone or am I on the “Island of I have never used that Stamp before” by myself!
Below you will see a picture of the images of the stamp set as well as the die cut pieces in the bundle. I will be honest, this takes time to do but the outcome is well worth every minute that you take in getting to know your stamps as well as condition them. I have blogged about this before but I wanted to mention it again….
We all spend so much money on our stamps and goodies…we need to make sure that they work the best possible way for us! I do like to stamp them in black as it does help to SPOT IT when you are in the trenches of playing! It’s funny, it used to bug me that the stamps were stained….now I LOVE the stains!
The sentiment came from this adorable Stamp Set, Pieces & Patterns. This IS a keeper set. I know at a glance you say…it’s ok…but I’ll wait – well let me point out….there are LOTS of little stamps that are perfect “fillers”. I think is you were to go onto Pinterest you will see what I mean….people are coming up with fantastic projects with this set….and the matching DSP – can you say adorable!
Enjoy the pictures and let me know how you like this inspiration for today! It is just wonderful when you have a great basic element to let your card ROLL….I tucked in some clouds hear and there from the Up & Away Framelits…..they are the best clouds with little effort. I have a little container of white clouds so when I need a little something – BAM….right at my fingertips!
A quick chat about the “road” – Is this the best or what! In the framelits there is a small little one that creates an embossing effect….it was so easy to do – just position it in Mr. Big …crank away and presto – you are riding down a road. I took a sponge and soft suede to “dirty up” my Soft Sky card stock.
The other thing that is the best are….THE MINI DIMENSIONALS….those little guys are perfect. When you first see them you will say – WOW, these are really tiny…..but when working with them you quickly see that you want them tiny…..no more sticky scissors and the size is perfect for many little areas that need that EXTRA lift!
A card would not be a card without a beautiful envelope! This bike image would be adorable stamped on the front of an envelope….Here’s what I envision that would be super ….. Make a custom envelope out of the Soft Sky or Lemon Lime Twist and then stamp the back wheel going off the envelope with “enjoy today” stamped multiple times….. 😀
Wouldn’t that be super cute! We all can come up with lots of great ideas but sometimes that TIME thing gets in the way!
Here is the picture to Pin….just hover over it and the “P” will be right there…and presto – you have an idea for the future. There truly are so many different ways that you can go with this bundle. It is a classic…it is a keeper and today I just did a quick way to use it but truth be told – I love this card just the way it is!
That is a great tip I can give you….if YOU are happy with a project….than stick with it – no reason to make it harder than it needs to. We do this “THING” of stamping because it is to be FUN….
Before we leave…a quickie about the sentiment…..After I stamped it my plan was to have it in a banner…..well – I was not happy with the width of it so PLAN B – snip it and let it roll!
Now to my little buddy….he is laying low and actually doing what he does best – SLEEPING and hanging out with Mom! He is in no pain….it just looks worse than it is – he IS a sweet angel that brings me more joy than one will know…..we go back to the Vets tomorrow and then next – Orthopedic Specialist….he has always been “gimpy” but we need to make sure that he has not damaged it more.

I know that I try my best to share and teach you some ins & outs of basic stamp care and things that I have found to be helpful. It is great to have products….but you really need to know how to make the most out of the products that you have! When you take the time, your results will be better …hence – you will even be happier stamper!
Little by little we learn and once we implement change, it becomes second nature to us! I cannot wait for tomorrow….it is the DEBUT of the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge….and WOW – sooooooo much talent~ I hope that you will PLAY!!!!

Good Monday….oops Tuesday to you! I hope that you had a great Holiday Weekend but if you are anything like me….when there is a Holiday on a Monday than I feel like I am playing catch up all week trying to figure out what day it is! It was a great weekend but reality is here!
This is a BIG WEEK… and a fun week for us as the NEW CATALOG launches in just 2 days!
I know that you totally understand that it is a great upcoming week because of new catalog…but then that must mean that it s a week where stamps and lots of FUN STUFF are getting ready to walk the plank!
With that said….please do not forget to check out the items that are leaving us! There are many “keepers” in there that to me are “true blues” !
Even though this “stamp & framelits” are being carried over to the NEW CATALOG…..it WILL NOT be carried over at a discounted price. For those of you that are new…..let me fill you in – when we have a BUNDLE (which means that it is an instant 10% off) they will not always be priced that way….soooooo, the moral of the story is – you have today and tomorrow to decide!
I have blogged about this bundle many times and I will hold true to what I have said….Stampin’ Up! did a fantastic job on this bundle as the stamps are SPOT ON but the framelits – AMAZING! The details are just the best!
If you are anything like me ….you will agree that we all need more encouragement. I know that that seems so simple but really is something that I think it is fair to say – that we all need more of!
Today…I paired it up with the fun photopolymer stamp, Over the Rainbow that IS walking the plank into the Stampin’ Up Sea of Retirement and I think that you can see….it is another keeper! I love the fact that it is a Photopolymer and for today. I used So Saffron but stamped it twice to get a heavier coverage of ink…and it was super easy to do as you can see right through!
I have a confession….I am super picky about clouds. I know that this seems strange but clouds are a hard thing to look “ok” – I like these clouds because they come in 3 sizes and they are perfect for many cards we make!
Many times, I use a dauber to sponge the sides but today – I decided to leave them plain. Think about how many project that we make that these little gems would be the perfect “tuck in” ? I like to adhere some flat and then some popped up for more interest.
There is a Retiring Bundles list and here are my top picks for bundles (or should I say products that ARE being carried over) into the new catalog but they WILL NOT BE A BUNDLED DISCOUNTED PRICE.
I know that when we have a NEW Catalog coming….naturally that means that some of us are going to be sad with the retirement of products. I can honestly say that the big “hole in my heart” item that is leaving are the DSP Paper Stacks. Many of you remember that I always had them on my product shares and I am sad about that because they were just the BEST go to’s!
Many of the color families sold out ZOOM FAST but the In Color DSP Stack that I used for today’s card is still available. These In Colors will be with us for another year so if you do not have this gem, I would take a hard look at it. I think that main reason that I adore these stacks are they do the work for you….how fun and classic are the prints!

Well there you go! A “keeper” of a card if I must say so myself! With the balloons the color combinations are endless and we all know the feeling inside when we see a beautiful Hot Air Balloon – one beautiful sight! So as we bring this Stampin’ Up! Year to an end…I am sure that we will continue to soar together!
Remember, you have just have today and tomorrow to order any of the items that are leaving us. One product that I would toss into the cart (and I will have no problem with multiples) is Bakers Twine. You can never have too much Bakers Twine and even though I used Crushed Curry on this card…IT WORKS….This is on sale for just $1.80 –

How can you NOT take a deep sigh and smile…..
Good Thursday to all! I am hoping that today is a better day as I had a 24 hour bug that WOWZERS, knocked me! I am giddy with this card as I have adored this stamp set from the very first time I saw it in the catalog last year….but the sad news is –
It is WALKING THE PLANK…
That’s ok because, Love & Affection is still available (for now) and the sentiment – that is from the Beautiful You Stamp Set and that IS being carried over! (I am super happy with that as there are soooo many amazing things that you can do with this stamp set!)
The inspiration for this card came from a card swap at the On Stage in Richmond. The minute I received it I knew that this is a “keeper” and I just had to share it with you!
Let’s get to it and at the end I will show you the swap card that I received. I will say, this stamp set is sooooo forgiving and the best tip that I can give you is to HAVE FUN…..pick your color scheme and GO FOR IT!
The beauty of a card like this is the fact that there are NO RULES…just GO FOR IT – pick the colors that you like and have a great date with Stamps, Ink & Paper! You can overlap with color, you can mask (I did not do that at all)…all I say is – JUST HAVE FUN!
Do you remember….the mantra that I have said over and over ~ the basics work…each and every time – today the “basics” that I am using are the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals….you just cannot go wrong with the basics!
You can easily tell that I have not put away the DSP from yesterday -I just love it and it is soooooo surprisingly that I love it so much as it comes from a very whimsical collection but you know Stampin’ Up! – there are always 2 sides to their great paper so one side will make you smile!
It is funny, there are times that you just “have to” let the newbies settle in before you make a decision to come to your home! (that’s why I offer product shares and YEP – I will be doing shares with the new upcoming catalog) I truly thing that when you see the catalog, the pictures of the papers just do not do them justice – you need to see them in person to let them grow on you!
I am sure that you are getting tired of these type of pictures but I will say that I get many emails about the envelopes! Most of the time I use a 1/4″ strip of a solid cardstock and then add a 2″ X 6″ piece of paper and then cut the excess away – EASY – FAST – DONE!
Now here is the card that I received while in Richmond. Is it the best for what! I am sorry that I cannot give the credit that it deserves to the “swap stamper” . I adore her color combination and actually you can see that she “stepped it up” by masking the oval before she added the sentiment!
A great example of there are many way to do things!
Here is you picture to save for the future and I hope that you are getting as excited as I am for the new catalog to come out! I LOVE the feedback that I get from you and YES – my catalogs are ordered and I can hardly wait to spoil my customers with the new catalog and more!

Good Morning…Happy HUMP DAY and I have a funny for you to make your day start with a chuckle. I will get to that at the end of this sweet card…. if you have the time – read it as you will understand why I am late today!
I loved reading the comments from the post yesterday….about Mr. Elmer (I think Elmer would be a good animal name….just sayin’) and I wanted to share this card today and some thoughts about using Elmer with this type of project. (I am envisioning that a bunch of you went out and bought Elmer and are ready to SPRAY AWAY….but I want to share more thoughts/tips with you so you do not get frustrated.)
Today’s card is a note card size, 5″ X 3 1/2″ and I cut my own card stock because I wanted a vertical card. I I envisioned that covering the whole front panel with Pacific Blue would be perfect for this sweet card but I also knew that it needed something a bit more.
In the picture below you will see the faint white lines….where did that come from???? Well, 2 products – the whisper white craft ink and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
Before I adhered the blue to the front panel I stamped it. Please remember that the craft ink takes a bit longer to dry so you will have to be patient or use your heat tool to set it up but the end result is fun.
I sponged the outer edges of the clouds in soft sky and popped some up and then adhered some flat. I think be doing both it gives more interest to your project.
Now HERE are the thoughts I have about Elmer on this kind of card….SIMPLE – be careful and know that the “stick factor for your fingers” is there are spaces on the outside of the cardstock that you are placing.
Darn, I love this bundle and I love that the framelits fit this perfectly with no worries of fussy cutting but you can see that there is an edge of white – no worries if you start with the 2nd piece first (the green one)….
WHEW…..I hope that this all made sense and at the end of the day that you can say – THIS IS ONE CUTE CARD. In my eyes it is…but the reality of it is…..it is all about this amazing bundle and the dies are so well thought out.
This weekend I will be able to see the NEW Catalog and I am really, really hoping that this is carried over…but remember, if it is – it probably will not be at the bundled price (saving 10%)….trust me, when I know and see….I will communicate as IF this is carried over…..I would HOP on it to get the 10% discount!
There you go…..I hope that this card “LIFTED” your day and this sentiment…..priceless and one that I think we all would use over and over because in life – we always have people that “lift us up”

Yesterday I was having some computer problems that my You Tube was not working correctly and I was super frustrated as I needed to get some links out for videos of my kits…..now picture this – it was about 5 pm my time and I am on the phone with fellow PAL, friend and my blog gu-ru Nicloe Watt.
We did a screen share and she was saying “they are working fine on my end – I can see them”.….they still were buffering…buffering on my end and while figuring it all out (REMEMBER – it is ME….the one that says that she is computer challenged) Nicole says, let’s update your browsers to Google Chrome…..I thought sounds good to me – (she’s the pro)…
Naturally I was all ears as we were doing a screen share and I believe anything that Nicole and her dear hubby tell me to do…..so I was clicking away and having a good old time…..then she said – let’s update this….now we’ll do this…..and I was feeling like an assistant to an Apple Executive and inside laughing because I thought – this is kind of like how we believe what a GPS tells us….turn here – you have reached your destination.
While we were waiting for chrome to download Nicole said, let’s remove this….then the question was, “When was the last time you cleaned your cookies?” – Well….well – I said: that is what you do at 350 for 10-12 minutes 😀 …then I said – Nicole – I have no clue how to do that…..well we did that and then removed some more…..then PRESTO CHROME was installed and it was time to get ride of the FOX… FIREFOX that I have used for years…..this was making me sad as I liked that little fox.
Nicole then said, to keep all of your familiar places that you go to regularly….we will click this before we delete the whole thing. THAT IS THE PART THAT IS ALWAYS SCARY…..it is that finale that scares me. WHEW…..we did it BUT one thing happened….and this is why I was LATE today…..
When I went to log in to type up my blog post for you…..I couldn’t remember my PASSWORD – I had 4 attempts….I tried, nope…I tried…nope – finally I was blocked out and had to reset it. When I went through that whole thing it said that I needed to wait 20 minutes before attempting to log back into the site….
Being impatient and really testing it…..it said I had 11 minutes left and I thought – this is crazy, I am just going to try again…..NOPE – it reset the damn thing to 20 minutes….so I thought – GOOD NIGHT COMPUTER.
I was able to go in and type responses from the post yesterday and I will say…..Chris R. from Iowa’s made me go to sleep with a smile on my face….it you did not see/read it – and you need a pick me up…..please go back and do so as I can just see her face with the guy waving to her and then I bet after he drove past she told Teddy something funny!
The moral of the story is LIFE HAPPENS….it is about how we deal with it that counts. I adore Integrant Services and they keep me up and running for you…..I know that I drive them nuts and they probably laugh at my silly questions…..and I have been known to call them back after 5 minutes of hanging up and saying…..ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME…..they really are the best and I am grateful for their help!
So that’s my SAGA for the tardiness of your inbox fix….I sure hope that you still had your coffee without my post and that you have a FABULOUS day….see you tomorrow…..Mr Bunny is in the house!!!

Good morning! On Tuesday’s I like to share with you tips! You might be scratching your head saying….this is a card? Yep, you are right but I want to share with you a tip that totally GIVES YOU PERMISSION to get inspiration from others!
I cannot tell you how many time I hear, I just cannot come up with something of my own….and then I say – there is nothing wrong with CASEING (Copy And Share Everything) and getting inspiration from others….I do that…I hope that you do it and the way that I look at it is simple, it is a huge compliment to person that created it!
I will say that when a new catalog comes out – I go over it front to back…..then back to front….inside and out etc….but I will admit, I TOTALLY blew right past this bundle until I saw it blogged by Jeanie. Click here to see her post and her tips are SPOT ON.
Obviously this is a great tip….make sure that you look and then look again to see what others have done with it before you pass it by! This bundle is one that I BREEZED right by until I saw Jeanie’s super cute card….then I flipped to the page and said to myself….WHAT???? How did I miss that!
I hope that you popped to Jeanie’s post and took it all in as I said above, her directions are SPOT ON but there are (2) things that I added a twist to….you see – this is why CASEING is so fun – you can be inspired and then add or take away and PRESTO….you are happy…you feel great and trust me, I would feel great to receive this card!
- I added Stick It to the back of the So Saffron Card Stock….WHY????? Easy – it is a life saver and a time saver for me. This is a fabulous product that does wonders for adding adhesive without any mess. The other thing that I adore is the fact that it is NOT permanent until you rub it HARD….so re-positioning it is always a breeze until you get it “just right”
- I added color for the flower but the ideas are endless for this fun die. It is classic and one that will always be “In Style”
Enjoy the pictures as you can see how I am taking the weekend post of Paper Piecing….and showing you still another way to do a similar technique. This one is super fun because it is like a puzzle but the best part is that you already know what the pieces are….so getting them to fit is a cinch – the only thing that you need to do is decide on colors that you want!
You know by now, I love square cards and this one is a 4 1/4″ square and then the dimensions are the same for the focal part are the same as Jeanie used.
I added some white gel pen dots, (I love my dots) and then added some whited Bakers Twine to the left! I will say, I like to stagger the ends of the twine when I go to finish it off….it is an extra interest that makes it festive and fun. Here is another tip! Tie your bow separately and then adhere it with a glue dot – simple and works every time!
I think that we all over look the Envelope Punch Board. I have said this before….I actually feel guilty that for just $20.00 this does soooooooo much! If you are in doubt – go to Pinterest and type in Envelope Punch Board and you will be WOWED.
Here is another TIP: I would write this down and tape it to the bottom of your Envelope Punch Board. For some reason there no dimensions for a 4 1/4″ square envelope…..here you go – take a 7 1/8″ Square and score and punch at the 3 5/8″ all the way around like you normally would do when making a custom envelope!
One more look at the beauty from a different angle! This is finding its way to Aunt Karen in North Carolina…..she is taking such amazing care of my Uncle George that I thought she would enjoy a simple card to pick her up! We all know what it is like for the care-giver….it is so exhausting because of the worry and constant running to and from the hospital.
I do not know about you …but – I think that there is something so classic and soothing to see a great with a pale pink. I do not use Pink Pirouette much so today…I thought – WHY NOT????
